Stayed here for 2 nights recently with my partner. As frequent travelers of netherlands to the various cities including den haag ,we had never stayed here before. Lovely experience overall with very pleasant and friendly staff. We had a garden view room(upgraded as club members) with everything you needed clean comfy bed, safe, big shower with toiletries etc and very quiet at night. Their was a complimentary breakfast included in the rate which was a buffet style but more than adequate with a selection of cold cheeses meats, cereals, pastries, teas coffees orange juice yogurts and boiled eggs. Decent coffee machine. Small little bar on site and ice machine in lobby. .We were given a late check out as we had a later flight which was truly appreciated . Excellently located for busisness or any of the visitor sites in den haag. We would definitely return and recommend.😀

Spotless rooms with very nice toiletries. Only negative issue was the service in the reception. Hardly any smiles, you do not get a feeling that you are welcomed. I received a wrong invoice with a name of another customer when I rented a bike. However, the bike rental is otherwise very easy and the bikes are a good quality. If the weather allows I recommend to cycle to your destination. Excellent breakfast with a variety of gluten free and vegan options. You may also have a custom-made omelet.

I was staying 5 nights. I had originally booked for 3 but wrote to reception back in November I wanted to extend the stay to 5 nights. I did ask should I just make a new reservation and they said no, it was recorded. This was confirmed as was the new price. When I arrived at reception, they had no record of my 5 night stay and I had to find the email to confirm both the extension and the remaining nights to pay. The person was lovely and sorted it out, but I felt a bit strange about it. Then after the 3rd night I received an automatic check out message so I checked with reception and they thought I was checking out and I had to go through the whole thing again. I had already paid so I explained that too. Anyway perhaps a note could have been added or something on the system. The location was perfect. I felt safe walking around at night and it was very convenient for the Amare centre. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot and the shower was a good size. I liked they had some BBC channels. I think on day 4, the wifi was down. This is not reception’s fault but it was out for probably 30 hours. This seems quite odd in a major hotel for it to be out for so long. Unfortunate but it was fixed eventually. Staff were nice. Lifts worked well.

It's a very nice hotel, located in the center of the city. Beautiful design, the rooms are pleasant. The breakfast is good. Those who come with a car are advised not to park in the parking lot below the hotel, because it is expensive. We camped in a parking lot within walking distance (of course after dropping off our luggage at the hotel) on Geest Street 1. We had a less pleasant experience, our daughter felt sick, and they had no idea where to refer us and we were even sent to the emergency which turned out to have been closed for 3 years. So only health, and enjoy.

To be honest, the photo filters are too heavy. I found that it didn't feel like a four-star hotel at all when I checked in. It was more like a fully furnished apartment. The toilet made a wooden platform sound when I walked in, and there was no bathtub. The location and the exterior of the building were good! The interior was renovated. You need to go up the stairs to bring your luggage into the hotel. It was very inconvenient without anyone to help! The elevator was also very slow!

Room (upgrade received as HHonors Diamond member) was very clean and spacious as was the hotel and corridors in general. Executive lounge has a nice terrace and offered a very good variety of food during happy hour. Breakfast buffet is rich and of very good quality. The breakfast room can be very busy but guests can also use additional seating in the adjacent bar, so this is not a problem. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk away from the Binnenhof. Overall one of the best Hilton hotels we have stayed so far.

Great hotel, nice employee, fantastic service, phenomenal experience. I stayed there with a friend for a week, each day we left the hotel at the morning/noon before 11 am. Afterwards we got a cleaned room with new bathtubs and also the kitchen was refilled. The personal was cool. Would like to stay a bit longer

While making a booking my wife asked the receptionist what time was the breakfast. The receptionist told us to pay first and then she will tell about the breakfast. Knowing the timings of the breakfast we wanted to book. We would not book the breakfast if it was too late. So we did not have an option. Once we booked the breakfast we went to the hotel room and we went to the receptionist to cancel the breakfast booking. The receptionist told her to come next day. We got the manager the next day and she could not cancel the breakfast. she used an excuse like we have to order food etc etc. But we tried to cancel it the same very day. So we could not cancel the breakfast. This is ridiculous. The hotel is messed up. once we pay for the breakfast that means we dont have an option to cancel it . the same day. We cancelled our appointment and went for the breakfast.

Stayed for 1 nt. hotel is right at the end of the esplanade. Lovely views and sunset over the sea. On checking in we asked about a standard and a superior room, as we hadn’t precooked our visit, lady on reception with abit of effort could have sold us a superior room but when I asked if we could see both rooms she said not as she was alone on reception ( in other hotels we have been given a key to look ourselves) in the past. Standard sea view room was very nice, however neither did she recommend we needed to book to eat in the restaurant, and being a Monday evening we didn’t think it would be necessary, we were wrong, only 1 chef on so couldn’t eat there. Decided to walk into town to eat, definately go the road route, hotel suggested a back way by the harbour, not a good plan, after a long dark explore the exit was blocked, so stick to the road. Checked out in the morning and had a lovely breakfast in the old town at a beautiful bakers shop, better than 25€ ea at the hotel. Would stay again if visiting the beautiful den Haag beaches.

Excellent
GGuest UserReally rate this hotel. Stayed here under previous management and enjoyed it then. The hotel is in a fantastic location for the world forum and allows easy walks into town and to the beach. Good quality breakfast but was chaos at 8am with lots of items run out and not being replaced. Came earlier the next 2 days. Service in the bar was terrible, a server told my colleague that they couldn’t make a cocktail on the menu because they ‘didn’t have time’. They’d already taken payment for it before they mentioned this. They then offered a beer in place which was 1/3 of the price and it took 3 members of management and 30 minutes to get a refund for the cocktail they didn’t serve. They then came back and said they now did have time to make it and that he could take it to his room, on his own, to drink it. He repeated the 5th time for a refund. That aside, If you want a good hotel in a great location in Den Haag, this is the one for you.
GGuest UserI love Novotel as a chain, and have stayed at this hotel before and was quite happy. This time I felt things were a little off and I wasn't as satisfied. I seem to recall getting a free bottle of water in the room, which it appears is not included anymore. No more individual shower gels and soaps, but now big pumps of soap, which is OK if you have the complete set of them. Yes, it's more environmentally friendly but it's also a sign of cost-cutting. Breakfast was more or less the same -- good choice and quality -- except on a busy weekend they seemed totally overwhelmed and people had to queue to get a table. On a quieter morning, I noticed a sign stating one can request omelettes and poached eggs from the kitchen, so I did, and this dish never materialized, which was a little awkward. The fresh orange juice machine is awful: constant noise and queues of people taking ages to each make one glass of juice, as it requires that the user slice the orange and then ram each half, one at a time, into the machine, yielding a tiny amount of juice. Repeat for 6 or 7 oranges to get a glass... It would be funny to watch as slapstick if it weren't so annoying to listen to. On the positive side, the rooms are still attractive, comfortable, and quiet.
GGuest UserCarla's service is great, Javier's smile is very warm, the scenery outside the window is very beautiful, the location is very good, to the Queen's Palace, the Knights Tower, the Parliament Building, the Moristine Royal Art Museum are all walking distance, too convenient
LllpjaneLocated in the downtown business district, there is no sign outside the building. It is very hard to find. It should be better to have a guide information on the first floor.
The room is clean and spacious
Facilities: Complete
Environment: good location
Service: good attitude
TTerence NieuwenhuijseHotel Amrâth Kurhaus in Scheveningen delivers an exceptional experience with its luxurious ambiance and attentive service. Its prime location offers stunning views and easy access to local attractions. The rooms are elegantly designed, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a blend of luxury and convenience by the sea.
Stayed with our family of four, inc two young ones (6, 2). Unit was newly furnished and well laid out, providing clear separation between beds in a loft-style format. Kitchen had everything you need to prepare basic meals. Largely self service but there is a front desk service during normal business hours M-Sat. Great location on Kaizerstraat with a 3min walk to the beach. Everything you need is nearby - Albert Heijn supermarket, tram/bus, and lots of shops/restaurants. Few local family friendly standouts: Stormerij laundry service, Arawann Thai, Chiva coffee, Studio, Hart Beach restaurant, Patagonia Beach restaurant, Sealife aquarium and Stadsborderij ‘t Waaygat petting zoo / playground.
GGuest UserIt took me a while to write this review since I was afraid of my personal safety. Nevertheless, I have finally decided to share this information with other travelers. This incident happened during a weekday night when I decided to do a walk-in at the Ibis hotel in Den Haag after a long trip. I was already aware of some bad reviews from other travelers indicating ”naughty” staff. Nonetheless, I decided to give it a go. I entered the hotel and mentioned the hotel clerk that I wanted to book a room. His attitude was rough indicating me that he did not have any rooms left. For my bad luck, my phone was out of battery so I decided to seat in one of the tables in the lobby to quickly charge it to look for a hotel somewhere else. While I was charging my phone, the clerk approached me and shouted at me that I had to leave the hotel. I explained him that I wanted to charge my phone to look for other hotels in the area and I wouldn't take much time. He continued shouting at me that I had to leave, when suddenly he grabbed my bag and literally threw it to the street. At this moment I was petrified since I never imagined something like this was happening. Then, he pushed me violently out of the hotel. Luckily I managed to take a picture of this guy. The guy has a tattoo on his right arm and rather than a hotel clerk, he thinks he is a MMA fighter or part of gang. I really don't know how the manager of this hotel can have person like this with such level of anger dealing with customers. My review by no means intend to advice other travelers to visit or not this hotel. I believe the facilities of this hotel are quite nice but what I can say is that I'm not entering this place again until they take strong actions towards improving the quality of their staff. I hope this guy doesn't get fired because of this review but if the hotel really wants to keep him, the hotel should consider send him to an anger management course. I don't know if this guy is always like this or just had a bad night and he took it on me. Nonetheless, I think no one should suffered what this guy did to me under any circumstance.
GGuest UserHotels being incredibly expensive in the Hague, we went for the Best Western as we knew the standard. The room was very small. The sink was outside the bathroom - quite strange. So you had 2 waste bins in the room and none in the bathroom. The bed was excellent. The pillows small but larger ones were provided on request. The shower was really good and so too were the towels. Great to have car-parking on site at a reasonable price. Local taxis were surprisingly cheap!
GGuest UserNeat and clean hotel in a great location within walking distance of the center. And close to The Hague Hollands Spoor station, so Scheveningen, Madurodam and surrounding places are easy to reach by tram or train.
Spacious and clean rooms. Bathroom is a bit small, mini-sink with a clumsy shower curtain, but very clean.
Very large hotel and a bit of a maze but location and hygiene make up for that.
