I don't think this is an inn that I would recommend to anyone. There is no shower in the bathroom, only water comes out of the faucet. When I wash my hair, I scoop up the hot water in the water tank that I have saved up with a bucket and wash it. Because this hot water uses geothermal heat, it is often a little hot, so in that case you need to add water to adjust the temperature. This time, there was a guest washing his head with water in front of a faucet separate from the hot water tank. I was a little worried that I would catch a cold because it was so cold that I was about to jump when I washed the shampoo. There are only two washrooms in the bathroom where you can reach the hot water tank, so I think you should wait until those washrooms open. This inn is not for the faint of heart. Hair dryers are also available for rent at the front desk to avoid the effects of hydrogen sulfide gas. Due to geothermal heating, fine temperature adjustment is not possible. The room temperature is controlled by opening and closing the windows. In autumn, even if there is a screen door, stink bugs will enter without mercy. On the premise that stink bugs will enter from the beginning, packing tape for trapping is placed in the guest room. If you don't like stink bugs, you'll have to catch them yourself. This inn is not suitable for people who are not good at insects. The toilet in the guest room does not have a warm water washing toilet seat, and only cold water comes out of the hand wash basin. Because this is also affected by hydrogen sulfide gas, the equipment is kept to a minimum. (There was only one communal toilet with a warm-water washing toilet seat.) This is just a quick summary, and it may be a bit unbearable for people who are used to a typical inn. The bottom of the open-air bath is also full of fallen leaves in autumn, so it is necessary to enjoy bathing with the leaves. However, I feel that the advantages such as outstanding sulfur springs, delicious food although not luxurious, and very pleasant customer service outweigh the disadvantages mentioned above. So I have stayed here many times. This was my first visit since the outbreak of the Corona vortex, and I was impressed by how much money was spent on truly necessary measures, such as installing alcohol disinfectants in each guest room. (This is the only inn that has alcohol for disinfection in each guest room, probably to prevent damages caused by pickpockets.) I recommend it to anyone.
Located inside Towada-Hachimantai National Park at an elevation of 800 meters, this inn is set in the tranquility of a virgin forest of beech and oak. Experience milky white, natural hot spring water overflowing a rock bath in a natural setting.

It was the first stay with 3 people for 1 night.
There is a building along the river, and it is a quiet place, so you can relax.
The room is a Japanese-style room, there is no toilet and washbasin, and there are shared facilities along the corridor. Lack of confirmation when booking. There is a sound of walking in the hallway, and the voice next door is also a little leaked.
There were more meals than I could eat, but the taste was not good enough for me. There were fish, wild vegetables, tempura, etc., but it's a matter of taste. Breakfast was not enough to eat, so it was saved.
All the staff are kind.
A day trip bath is also available from 8:00 in the morning, so next time I will use it for a day trip bath.
The open-air bath is dark underfoot and there are steps, so be careful when bathing at night. The outdoor bath was cloudy, so I couldn't see the stairs at night.

Free coffee was available in the lobby from 7:00 to 21:00. I was very happy because I couldn't drink coffee on this Hachimantai trip. The desk in the lobby was designed to be at a height where you could read books, and there were seats surrounding the fireplace, so the furnishings were relaxing. The windows were big and comfortable. I enjoyed playing online games with 4 people at the desk in the lobby. There were many outlets for charging in the living room, which was also a high point. I also liked the fact that it was easy to save energy because the light switch was arranged in one place. (Because if the light switch is broken in the room, it will be too much to turn off all of them.) And the color of the light is good (the color temperature is low and calm), the amount of light is necessary and sufficient, and it was adjustable. I thought that this was a well-thought-out hotel. There was plenty of ice water and hot water. However, I wanted tea because it was only tea. (I went out by car and bought it at a small shop.) There are only 2 coin laundry for washing and drying, and I think it's off-season in summer, but it was still crowded. The bath is also written as Max for 18 people, and it seems that you need to choose the time. If you like hot springs, you can visit the hot springs outside. I had a mini French buffet for one night out of two nights, and dinner at a nearby restaurant, Northern Grande for one night, so I never got tired of it. It was adjacent to the forest of the prefecture and I enjoyed walking. The ski season is also good because it is a hotel with autumn leaves and ski resorts. It is a hotel that I want to stay again.

I stayed when I came to Hachimantai to hunt for autumn leaves. This is a large hotel. When I arrived, the scent of sulfur in the hot springs was a little bit scented in the lobby. The welcome drink bar is located in the lobby lounge. The room is a beautiful Japanese-style room with 8 tatami mats. It was the first gorgeous shoji that Shoji saw (pink, white, purple and autumn leaves pattern). The room key was 2 I was saved with a book. Wa 5 #-# The bath is a day trip bath. It was very crowded probably because it was the autumn leaves season on Sunday. The hot springs are transparent (a little whitish in the book) and have a scent of sulfur. From the open-air bath, it was said that Mt. Iwate was looking at it, and there was a cloud. The open-air bath is lukewarm water. The large communal bath was hot water. Although it is a day trip hot water, amenities such as lotion are available. Since there are only 3 dryers, it was difficult to use, and if I gave up using it, I could finally use it. There is a water cooler, but the trash can for throwing away the cup for the water cooler was full, and there were many cups outside the trash can. I stacked and fell on the floor. The next morning, the bath was only for guests, so I took it relaxing. Since it was a men and women replacement system, I took another bath. For dinner, we had a beautiful venue with a chandelier that is also used in the wedding hall. There were a lot of pre-orders and appetizers, and the sashimi was unique with a salad tailored with sea bream and tuna. I'm not good at sea crabs, but it didn't smell and it was delicious. The seafood soy milk pot had a gentle taste, and the Hachimantai Bok shabu-shabu and dessert cheesecake were delicious. As for sake, the local sake in Hachimantai city was dry and delicious, and 300cc was reasonable for 800 yen and I ordered several bottles. The man in charge of the meal was very kind and hospitality and was happy to be with him. Breakfast was a buffet at a restaurant with a garden view. The pizza toast that cut bread into my favorite thickness and put color 々 on it seemed to be popular. The hot water that was not too salty was delicious, and there were Koiwai milk and local yogurt. I drank coffee after meals at the restaurant and in the lobby lounge. It was a comfortable hotel with a good hot spring, very convenient for sightseeing in Hachimantai.

Outstanding
GGuest UserI stayed at Twin for 3 nights on the same schedule as last year. Last year, it rained so hard that I couldn't enjoy the mountains, so I had to challenge myself again. Then, it rained again this year, so I went to Morioka's art museum and watched a movie. Many people from nearby prefectures were staying because of the Tohoku discount. The senior owner couple was very busy and looked tired. Two free washing machines were installed and it became convenient.
AAnonymous UserAmbi Plateauic is still powerful. This is the fifth stay since the opening. The check-in time spans spring, summer, autumn and winter. The best thing is to say that the winter snow is good. In addition, the summer is not bad. The pasture is also open next to it. It is suitable for leisure.
I told the hotel that I was a Diamond Ambassador member, the room was upgraded (68 square meters), and the ambassador membership treatment was superimposed.
I have to go skiing in January, and Ambiic is indeed the ic's handle in the northeast.
ps Hotel offers a welcome bus from Ambi Highland Station to the hotel, which is very convenient.
GGuest UserIn the context of a scientific event, I had the chance to stay one full week at the ANA Crowne Plaza Resort. In a few words, I will simply say that this place is amazing, and that I recommend it for a skiing stay in Appi. In terms of the hotel itself, I have found that the staff were friendly, helpful and professional, like it could be expected in Japan. They took care of all the little issues I had during my stay, promptly and without any discussion. I additionally appreciated the “eco-friendly programme” that is offered, in which coupons are provided in exchange of ”no-cleaning room days”. The amenities in the hotel (public baths, souvenir shops, ski rental station) are spot on to make the stay perfect. I would however like to mention that it could even be better with a bar that stays open late (at least until midnight), as this would have prevented me from having to go to the next hotel to get a drink with my colleague. Maybe the bar from the hotel was closed because of the time in the season? Concerning the room I got, it is spacious and comfortable, super clean, although furniture and facilities are a bit old-style. Renewing the bathroom material could be a good item to put on the hotel to-do list, as well as making the room a bit more soundproof and insulated. This would hence prevent cigarette smoke from entering into the room from the outside. Moreover, whereas the bed was very comfortable and allowed for a propre relaxation time after a busy day with work and skiing, I got awakened by the noisy engines of the snow groomers several times during my stay (which is annoying, especially at 5:00 AM). Therefore, I would rank my experience as an average one (neither particularly good nor bad).
GGuest UserThis time I booked Arts Color, but I actually lived in the main building of the boss's other restaurant Life is Beautful( It should be called Beautiful Life~), the homestay is about10-15 minutes walk from Anbi Ski Resort & Bailu Hot Spring, not too far away, the key homestay dinner seems simple, but super delicious, there is a French restaurant standard, In the morning 8-9 o'clock & afternoon 16-17 there is a free welcome (Anbi Station or Anbi Ski Resort), B1 there is a loan cut wind, just like the size of Yangming Mountain's personal hot spring, but it is really relaxing to soak after skiing the snow. There is also a beautiful and atmospheric API House bread cafe opposite the hotel. There is a ROCKY BBQ restaurant next door. On this night in the countryside, such a store has been counted a lot, because there is really no nightlife here at this night. You can consider going to the Bailu Hot Spring for a soup (open until 23:00). This is a personal trip. The cost of one berth and two meals is NT2100/day. I think it is very good value, it is recommended, I hope that I can visit again not too long.
