Given the price-point of this hotel, I would have expected a luxurious experience. Upon entering the hotel at Level 1, I was greeted by friendly staff. A couple of steps in, I notice many statues around the hotel - albeit similar to the eclectic styles of W Hotel. However, the execution of the theme was quite tacky, and definitely not impressive in my opinion.
Mind you that this hotel was MORE EXPENSIVE than W Hotel.
Moreover, I had a hard time communicating with the employees as they unfortunately only spoke Chinese - and not a word of English. This was also disappointing as I would've expected a hotel at this price point to be a little more international-friendly - but I might add that the staff really tried to accommodate however they could given our language barrier.
Upon entering our room, we were hit with a musky smell eminating from the carpets - which we unfortunately had to get used to for the night.
Room cleanliness was good, but room size was super disappointing (again, for the price point). But that was entirely my fault as the size of the rooms were clearly indicated when booking.
Overall experience was mediocre at best - but will likely not come back as there are loads of other 5 star options at this price range.

firstly I was impressed at how fast we checked into our room. hassle free experience even when we go for our meals.
secondly, e room is clean, neat with beautiful views. e bathrobe was comfortable to wear and I can spend whole day there.
lastly, I was surprised at how delicious and wide spread of breakfast that they offered. I will definitely come again!
not forgetting, the gym equipment is pretty neat and new. it has awesome view as well.
