Location is within 10 minutes walking distance from Guangzhou Dong train station and surrounded by several shopping centres. Room is big n bed is comfortable. Only setback is that it doesn't have a fridge.

Location is superb if your traveling a lot between Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Its within a Killometer from The railway station The hotel has a 200rmb deposit for small rooms which must be paid on sight and refunded on checkout and the rooms are pretty old school. But if you are tired and just need a place to get some rest this is place is recomended.

Very good location, really decent price. Staff are friendly. The hotel is next to the APM which makes exploring Guangzhou handy. The rooms are basic but comfortable. We booked for 2 people which came with 1 breakfast (that was the only strange bit, but was listed in the booking beforehand). Access is 24/7 and has a lift up to the hotel if you have heavy cases. Next to a good HK canteen and across the road from a really nice bbq in the shopping mall.

I am very satisfied with the clean and tidy room. The bed is dry. The mattress is moderately soft and hard. The key is that there are two pillows. One is soft and the other is slightly hard. It is very good. This slightly hard pillow is moderately soft and hard. I sleep very comfortably. I have never had a hotel pillow that can be as good as this one. So satisfied. The most important thing is that the air conditioner is very quiet. The air conditioners in many hotels are so noisy that I can't sleep. This is great and a surprise. The breakfast is delicious. The sports center and shopping mall are just opposite. It is very convenient to travel. The corridor is not wide and the opposite door is also a room. Occasionally, someone talking in the corridor can still be heard. But I can't force this, it's still acceptable. Generally speaking, the corridor was quite quiet during this stay. I will stay here again next time I come to Tianhe District.

I have been using this hotel now since 2012. Perfect location, easy into city center, lots of food choices and is right in GZ East railway. Now as a VIP, i get to stay a fee hours after checkout time

One of the highlights of my stay was the convenience of having a minimart right in the hotel, along with other marts just outside. This made it incredibly easy to pick up any essentials or snacks I needed for all moments of my stay. I highly recommend LIZ Hotel Guangzhou to all international business travelers looking for a luxurious and convenient stay in the city. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

overall a good hotel close to the train station. Kind of end of a road, so quiet place. I was worried when entered the room as facing rail tracks. Still probably are just tracks not used, as did not hear any train at all during my staying! Positive!

The room is new, comfortable and clean. If you need to catch a train the next day at Guang Zhou East railway station, this is the right hotel as it is located right opposite the railway station. It takes less than 1 minute walk to the metro station’s exit F to use Metro Line 1 and Line 3. It is very convenient to travel around Guang Zhou city. Po Park mall is opposite the hotel and connected to the metro and railway stations, which is very convenient for food and groceries. The hotel also provides complimentary self-service laundry including detergent. The only negative is you will hear the sound of car horn from morning until midnight as many cars and taxi in front of the railway station but it didn’t bother me as I’m not a light sleeper. I need to catch an early morning train and couldn’t have breakfast. The staff packed some biscuits for me.

The hotel location is fantastic which is opposite Guangzhou Railway Station and 广州东站。Opposite is the main shopping district of GZ and surrounding many eating places. The hotel is supposed a 5 stars rated but it is old even though is well maintained. However the only con is the aircon system cannot be adjusted as it is centralized and it gets really cold at night.

Hotel feels more like 3 star because it's a bit old in terms of exterior facade. But the toiletries, towels and bed are all good similar to 4 star. This place is just next to Dynasty Restaurant (Dian Dou De) which is a great dim sum place. We went there 4 times in 4 days. We book this place because it's about 15 min Didi taxi to Canton Fair / China Import and Export fair.
