Villa Bordoni

We stayed 3 nights at Villa Bordoni and it was a magical Tuscan experience. The room was very confortable and unique. It was very impressive and charming to stay in a villa from the 11th century. Breakfast was excellent and the area is overlooking the beautiful gardens. Dinner was fantastic and service phenomenal. The staff is very attentive and we highly recommend.

What a great find this place was. Such a beautiful location in this older, quaint Italian Villa. The rooms are cute, service fantastic, and food incredible. The grounds are beautiful complete with a pool to swim in or just lounge around. Everything is extremely neat and clean. Our only regret was not taking the cooking class.

We ate dinner at Villa Bordoni one night during our stay at a nearby hotel. The food was delicious, the service was phenomenal, and the atmosphere in the little dining room was lovely. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating to American guests. Originally, we had planned to sit outside but because the weather was too cold we sat inside and it was still beautiful. We highly recommend that you make a reservation if you are visiting the area. You will not be disappointed. One of our favorite meals in Italy!

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Bordoni for 2 nights in mid September. The rooms were comfortable, the food was delicious and Hugo took such great care of us! The pool area was nice to enjoy as well is the back porch and grounds. Don’t miss the cooking class. So much fun! Ricardo was super responsive to all my emails prior to the trip as well. This is a gem in the middle of Tuscany!

This stunning country house is the ideal setting for a short break away. The house and many of its resting areas around its beautiful gardens made it wonderfully relaxing. The staff were very helpful, Ricardo helped us plan our day to a 30 acre vineyard for a wine tasting tour and after he suggested some beautiful hamlets to visit for lunch. We ate the first night in the Restaurant and enjoyed every bite, all fresh produce cooked to perfection. Our room was air conditioned, very comfortable and tranquil. A blissful 2 nights stay. We had the most magical experience at Villa Bordoni!! We were itching for a quiet countryside retreat and its fabulous location in and views of the Tuscan hills, stunning pool amongst its olive trees, quiet gardens, incredible restaurant, and delightful staff were exactly what we were looking for. Thank you so much for having us -- we can't wait to come visit again!

100% recommend!. What a pleasant stay at this hotel. Situated in the heart of Tuscany in the region of Chianti, this was the perfect place for a romantic getaway. The room was very spacious, clean and with all the ameneties (besides a coffemaker). Very good breakfast buffet with eggs made to order and good selection of other food and you could sit outdoors in the lovely patio or garden when the weather allowed. The restaurant was beyond expectations, good range of antipasti and pasta which we tasted, did not try the meat dishes. The pool was also good to relax by after all the sightseeing If you are looking for a romantic small hotel in Tuscany then I 100% recommend thus hotel.

Villa Bordoni is stunning. Beautiful gardens and roses. Just lovely everywhere. Dinner and breakfast was delicious. Get the Tuscan Gin and Tonic if you are a gin person. We stayed in the family suite and it was nice for a group of five. The pool was gorgeous

My husband and I just stayed at the Villa Bordoni for six nights. It was truly magical for us both. The location is stunning…albeit tricky driving through narrow country roads. Besides the villa itself being a gorgeous and tastefully renovated approximately 1000 year old villa, the grounds are rich in color with sounds of birds and filled with lush gardens. We had breakfast at the villa outside in the garden every morning and took daily drives heading in a different direction each day…Greve in Chianti, Radda, San Gimignano, Volterra, and several more villages…coming back to our “home” at Villa Bordoni to dine. Every evening was filled with spectacular service, warmth, laughter, and truly fabulous food. The staff became family. We were filled to the brim with the effects of their hospitality, kindness and warmth. We knew everyone by name, gracious connections and generous hearts. They are truly genuine, knowledgeable and warm.
