Ocean V Hotel Reviews

The hotel is in need of a makeover, some of the fittings a little outdated. The pool is little more than a plunge pool though the setting is superb. The breakfast is average, so much so that whilst my wife went for breakfast most days I stayed in the room and just had yoghurts. The minibar doesn’t work and nothing is cold in it. There’s no room service menu though they allow outside deliveries for guests. That’s all the bad points. Now for the good points. The rooftop bar is relaxed and atmospheric, the sunsets there are sensational and the cocktails are superb. The service from the staff was incredible. Always helpful and informative and willing to go the extra mile to make you welcome and that makes up for the shortcomings of the actual building itself. Also the location close to Perrybere beach and a short taxi ride to Grand Baie is pretty good too, though it’s a long taxi ride from the airport.

The stay at this Hotel was amazing. Vikesh and Michael where the two managers and upgraded our rooms because we had a small problem with our original room. the wait staff where amazing Raj,Shanish and Minesh kept me well hydrated. Ryan and Lenado where our fantastic waitors. They have a brilliant chef Adhil that served 5 star and Michelin quality food. i would recommend this hotel to any travllers. it is a short distance from Grand Baie central that you can catch a taxi or take a walk too. the nicer beaches are also a short drive away.there are a few average beaches within walking distance

This was an amazing, their services are very fulfilled. I was love to visit there. I love anelia ❤️ and the food was so satisfying and the villa was an amazing. The Mauritius was a paradise for us. We loved to visit here. I will come again to visit❤️

Great prices, Amazing View, Brilliant Staffs and Awesome Service. Krishnee, Deepak and Clive gave us an excellent service and I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. The food was amazing on the sea view balcony.. don't look back, book and enjoy your stay!

Great location, amazing view on the rooftop, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful waiter/ barman ever(Mr Mahesh, My Joy, Mr Didier and other staff members as well), lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. All with a smile and constant follow up from the staff members making us feel much at ease. I would like to thank all the team! Specialy thanks to Mr Mahesh Mr Joy and Mr Didier, Mr Suraj, Mr always assisting and providing the greatest service with a smile. Food was simply delicious and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I also celebrated my birthday over there and the special attention from the hotel staff was one of a kind. I really appreciate each and every gesture from them. Made my day a very special one. Dev-Alish welcomed us with great smile and kindness. The room is good-conditioned. Delicious dinner and breakfast. From rooftop restaurant, I could see beautiful scenery of Mauritius and coastline:) Thank you so much for your hospitality

Everything was super nice at the hotel. The staff was friendly, always helpful, they even organised trips for us. The rooms were clean, cleaned regularly, very comfortable bed and clean bathroom. The food was great, amazing desserts and good coffee.

Great service, very friendly staff and Clive in the rooftop bar was great. Room was clean, food was good with A La Carte for dinner and the option of buffet or A La Carte for breakfast was good. Great view of the ocean from the room and the rooftop bar was amazing. Having a swim in the rooftop pool before breakfast was great. Bus stop directly outside the hotel was handy and parking on site was handy for when we rented a car.

Nice food and very friendly and helpfull staff which made our holiday very nice. We enjoyed at staying here. I wish we’d remembered some names of staff that was nice to us but to be honest everybody was super great and we never had any complains on anyone. Can’t event think anything negative about staying here. Good job!!!

Overall, the hotel is very nice and luxurious and the staff are really kind and helpful, and they are at your service at all times. Food isn’t a problem also as they have a range of food in their restaurant and if that isn’t your preference, you can find nearby restaurant not too far which is convenient. Medha, Dev, and Atish where very helpful whilst I was at the hotel.

Great experience and stay. Excellent service. Medha was really kind and showed us around with a smile and positivity. Atish and Dev with great help. Drink was really good, rooftop really cozy and aesthetic to chill. Great staffing service and very helpful.

I really enjoyed my stay at Ocean V. The room was beautiful and the bed so comfortable. Beautiful view of the beach. There is an onsite beauty salon so it was lovely to have a massage and walk back to my room. All the staff were exceptional. So lovely, friendly and so accommodating. I'll definitely be staying again on my next visit to Ocean V.
