We stayed in a room that was made in a real cave.
It was spacious and warm.
The owner's wife is Japanese, and the owner and his twin children speak Japanese fluently.
The balloon tour we booked from Japan was cancelled due to bad weather, and there were no vacancies for the next four days due to the New Year's holiday. When we talked to the owner, he booked New Year's Day because the weather was likely to be better on that day.
He also introduced us to a great Japanese guide and we were able to go on an attendant tour.
He didn't push us... he worked closely with a reliable company, and everything went smoothly, making it the best stay.
The rooftop restaurant and the many terraces all have great views, and since it's in the center of town, we were able to walk around on foot from early morning until late at night. This is the best hotel to stay in Cappadocia, and five stars is not enough.
On New Year's Eve, we were given a gift of wine and fruit in our room.
The restaurant had a special New Year's Eve course, so we booked that.
We watched the fireworks on the top floor terrace for the countdown.
There were lasers and fireworks everywhere and it was amazing.
I would definitely stay here again if I come to Cappadocia.
