Just back from a 5 night visit. We were a family group split between two rooms. Unfortunately we were separated by 5 floors! One room upgraded and the other not. The front desk were slow in sorting out these gripes but finally the assistant manager, Aggeliki, resolved all our issues and in fairness took the time and care to check all was well throughout our stay. The restaurant and food selection was Excellent and the restaurant staff all offered first class service. The hotel was located in a pretty bay with sandy beach. Plenty of pools and sun beds. Still entertainment offered even though it was the end of season. The overall vibe at the hotel was sophisticate and I believe had been renovated only two years previously since being taken over by the Marriott chain. Our whole family enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The hotel is lovely we had a sapphire junior suite which included access to the haute lounge which is well worth the extra money. The beach is amazing. We never had to get up early and rush to get a sunbed. Plenty too go round. The food was excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful. If you need a relaxing holiday this is the place to be.

The hotel is beautiful, rooms are nice, bathrooms are a bit small. They have a pillow menu which I was happy to take advantage of. The beach has nice chairs and a beach bar to order drinks at. There are multiple pools as well, and the view is beautiful. Watching the sunset from our balcony was one of my favorite things, they have an amazing view of the ocean with the sun setting right into it. They have a daily breakfast and dinner buffet which is included with your stay. The staff is so helpful and goes the extra mile to make your stay memorable. Cristina is so lovely and kind, she was such a pleasure!

We have just returned from this hotel and had the most wonderful, relaxing week. We booked a junior sapphire suite (room 324) and I highly recommend this as the sea view is fabulous & made it for us. The room was very clean & modern, the bed was super comfy. We arrived very late and were grateful for the sandwiches, salads, snacks and drinks that had been left out for us in our room…nice touch. The staff are exceptional from the front desk to the room cleaners to the bar & restaurant staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Elena in the Meze restaurant and Marianne on front desk were a credit to the hotel as was the lovely waiter in the buffet restaurant out on the terrace (name began with S! Apologies for forgetting) We found the food to be varied and good. The Meze & Asian restaurants were fantastic. The beach is sand and the sea crystal clear, truly wonderful to swim in. It is a fairly secluded bay. We were very fortunate with the weather. We had (included with our package) access to the Haute Living lounge and I would recommend this as you have access to snacks and drinks (soft & alcoholic) throughout the day. There was a bar open until 1am. The gym is also very good & they run Pilates & Yoga classes AM & PM. Having read the reviews before we went i see now why some are unfavourable though we didn’t experience anything negative and perhaps that’s because we went in October and so it was less busy, no issue ever getting a sunbed (very comfy btw!), no Q’s for restaurants, we had booked a sea view room (there are rooms at rear of hotel overlooking car park), we did our research beforehand and knew the hotel was quite remote and so had hired a car. There is nowhere really to walk to from the hotel and road/s out of the area are very steep. So bear this in mind. There is however a bus service into Corfu old town and taxis of course. If you are simply looking for a very relaxing week by the (large!) pool/sea with good food & great, friendly service then this is the place (probably not in the school holidays tho!) If you want a holiday with more activity/walking and you don’t have a car, this is not the place. Domes has an adults only hotel across the island that may suit better. We would definitely return.

Pros Beautiful setting on an idyllic beach coupled with an amazing bed and room. Beach service. Freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast food was good for evening meal Cons Expensive hotel very noisy overrun with toddlers and families making lots of noise past our room late at night. Breakfast was the worst I've ever had and for 5 star I expect the best not the slop i got getting coffee is taxing staff are lifeless. Sewage smell by adult pool food and drinks expensive and choice is limited for snacks everyone uses the sunloungers by the hotel and locals put parasols up infront of sunloungers would definitely not come here again very noisy hotel felt underwhelmed and drained after

Firstly, this is a lovely hotel with a fantastic beach and lovely friendly staff. Nice appointed communal areas with designer but totally uncomfortable furniture. Half board food was good with a wide and varied selection. But, if you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday (as we were) this is not the hotel for you. This is not a five star hotel as advertised, almost to the point they could be challenged under the “trades description act. 3* plus would be my assessment and the person that appointed five stars needs series re-training. It has the look of 5 stars but does not live up to that and when paying £3k for a holiday I expect more than “a look”. It is a hotel for families as experienced during our stay with hordes or screaming, uncontrollable under 5’s running rampant. The rooms are very small to the point of claustrophobic. The housekeeping is very hit and miss with regular visits to reception to get water & towels. Room surfaces were extremely dusty on arrival and 10 days later still the same with shards of glass on one surface from day one. We doubt if the shower had been cleaned from day but as all sanitary ware is dark grey in colour, it was hard to determine. Dirty, upturned glasses and thick dust from top of tv and elsewhere. There are “adult only” areas on the beach and a designated pool area and also in the restaurant but that does not stop the screaming & tantrums noise echoing through. The hotel needs to make up its mind as to whether to target families as they do by offering “kids eat free” but there is no getting away from the noise. Breakfast & dinner most days were “carnage” and although sat in the adults area there was not escaping the screaming, tantrums and general bad behaviour with no consideration for other people by the parents.

Lovely location right on a gorgeous private sandy beach with clear waters. If you want a relaxed holiday then this is the place. We went in late September quite a few young families. Can not really walk to nearest village so you are restricted to hotel unless you hire a car or public transport. Bus to Corfu only cost €3 each way Taxi cost €42 each way!! 45 mins on the bus well worth the visit to old town though. Food was varied and all ok. We stayed in room 322 with sea view sapphire jnr suit I think which also allowed us to use the Haute living lounge with its help yourself bar and little snacks from 10am to 11pm well worth it. Staff were all very helpful and lovely Hope this helps.

Outstanding hotel with excellent , attentive staff and very good value. The onside restaurants are superb and the buffet restaurant has a big range of food with alot of variety and good quality. The entire hotel is spotless with pool options and a great beach frontage.

We stayed here 2 years ago and it was paradise. Our room was tranquil, the place was spotless and the service was first class. It has gone down hill drastically in almost every aspect due what largely looks like a decision to ***** out cost. Sadly, the prices remain the same. We booked the highest room type again and requested the same room (310). The bar below now stays open until 1am rather than 11pm when we last stayed. The noise woke our children and kept me awake until after 1.30am. After the second sleepless night I spoke with the from of house manager. He explained that there events on and assured me that, as it was a family hotel, the normal close time was of course 11pm. The following night around 12.30am I eventually went down to see what the noise was only to be told the bar was open to 1am every night. When I spoke with front of house again, he told me he had been misinformed and that it was indeed 1am. When we stayed last, towels were stored around each pool and replenished throughout the day. Now, you queue at the beach bar for towels and they were left to pile up in laundry baskets everywhere (see photos) as the staff that previously kept the place clean are no longer there. As the day went on, litter started to pile up around the sunbeds. This included glass bottles of beer, which seemed dangerous given the number of children around. One morning, my wife stood on a beer bottle top, which had not been cleared up from the day before. When we stayed last, all the sunbeds had comfortable foam mattresses. Now, only the sunbeds around the main pool and on the beach had mattresses. The rest had no mattresses and were not very comfortable. Even in the gym, where on the last trip the small standard white towels you get at even basic hotels were provided, these too were now absent. When I asked the staff at the Spa, the shrugged their shoulders apologetically. I mentioned that standards seemed to have dropped. They agreed and said there was nothing they were able to do. As a result of my enquiry, towels were subsequently delivered. However, they were enormous beach towels, deliver in a hug pile twice a day. This seem like a waste, not environmentally friendly and at odds with the hotels green credentials. At lunchtimes in the beach restaurant it was carnage. Tables would be left strewn and uncleared. Our room type gave us access to the Haute Living lounge. For the most part this was good but again, service was regularly a bit 'Fawlty Towers'. Surfaces and tables would be covered with glasses and crockery for hours at a time even when when staffed. Fridges were left to run out of water and other drinks, with guests having to constantly ask for items to be replenished, One evening, the server shut up an hour early and simply left Another family called reception to ask for drinks but an hour later nobody had arrived. The 5 star service and culture we enjoyed on our previous trip has evaporated. This seemed to be as a result of under
