Hotel Lumi Gili Trawangan Reviews

Food was great, location superb, very cool interior decoration - easily the best place to stay on the island! Free bike hire was utilised every day! Only thing that could make it better would have been having a gym to use. All in all, loved our stay and will return!

A good hotel on the island of Gili Trawangan, beautiful hotel grounds, everything was clean, tidy, we had a room in the printed booking in English beach cabin, in trip.com it was written “a house overlooking the beach, when we chose it in the printed booking in Russian language, in reality it is a small cabin-style room, the shower is very strangely designed, there is no door so as not to splash everything, in a building without a view of the beach. Breakfast was good, you choose one main course, tea or coffee, and plenty of pastries and fruit. The entrance to the water near the hotel is bad, there are a lot of corals and all sorts of things, there is always music playing and a lot of sun loungers, the pool is stretched along the hotel, overlooking the sunset and a bunch of sun loungers. Yes, by the way, I think the free-standing volumes are very good, the booths are still a bit small, it’s better to book a house. The staff are great, they tell you everything and give you advice. Bicycles are free and quite good. In general, the hotel has a good impression and can be booked.

Beautiful hotel, beach. The downside is that it’s impossible to swim - you’ll walk a kilometer on rocks and grass and it’ll still be knee-deep. And the second minus is the audibility in the rooms. The first night we didn’t sleep (the toilet was roaring very loudly🤪) and the second night it started raining (some areas of the roof are plastic or glass) due to heavy rain, it felt like we were sleeping on the street under an iron roof. In general, 2 sleepless nights. But overall, it didn’t spoil our mood 😇

The hotel is very good, clean and designed is very modern and beautiful, the view from this hotel (especially sunsent) is very wondeful the staff is very friendly and helpfull, the facility is very nice but the location is little bit far from center of gili T

Lovely hotel, so well kept and lovely friendly staff. I booked the basic room which really is extremely basic so I upgraded to a cottage which was beautiful and a significant improvement, good is amazing, the staff very friendly and helpful. A great sunset location

Stayed for a long time here, we only ate at their expensive restaurant and got salmonella. So it is clear we got it from here. Avoid this place at all costs. Also the breakfast is not that good and restaurant is really really expensive. But yeah if you want diarrhea visit this place.

So beautiful! We loved our stay at Lumi. We spent 4 nights, we were so sad to leave. The facilities were amazing, the staff was super friendly and the food was really good. We highly recommend Lumi. They had different events that guest could attend and were really service minded

Lumi is a gem. Blend so well with island design with comfort, nature, and fun. The room is so beautiful and cozy with attention to details for guests comfort. Always very clean. And every morning woke up by birds, I thought it must be heaven. Very kind staffs and very knowledgeable. Would be great for additional Spa to complete the experience. I was staying at Lumi 4 years ago and still is charming as before. Please keep up the great job. Will be back for sure.

Awesome welcome … nice hospitality… and our cottage is really good… Only very less item in Jain food but they try to arrange … but not Indian test but I am sure they improve in future Best resort location … and view

I came here to celebrate my birthday For surprise they help my fiance to made surprise for me. They have really good team, all of them friendly. Especially thhe staff in f.o ( abdi ) if i am not mistaken He is really good, He even join us to fishing and show us around. Ivan and Chandra ( I hope is right name i write down ) The staff in restaurant really friendly and helpful. Hotel atmosphere is fantastic with good facility. They have live DJ from 5-7 pm and continue with movie night. They also have bicycle for free so you don't need to rent.

We stayed here for 5 nights and loved every second of it. I mean, just the location and this stunning architecture, the delicious food (we couldn’t wait till breakfast each night haha ) and the most kindest and caretaking staff on the island. Every day there is a cinema in front of the beach, on the weekend there were live music as well as a hotel market, if you like to volunteer cleaning the Beach, you get rewarded with a cold beer, crafting your own souvenirs as well as free bike rentals. We stayed another night and this wasn’t a problem. We really recommend this hotel! Can’t wait to be back in the near future :)

Unfortunately, my experience was not the best. They have a Terrible laundry service. My clothes were totally ruined and the staff didn’t take responsibility and didn’t take care about. Actually they pretend to charge the cost of the service.
