A comfortable bed and slept well The staff were friendly. Buffet food was disappointing for what should be 4 star. Not a huge variety, pizza undercooked and no real options for vegetarian diets. We left early with our tour, but breakfast had hardly any options, dry pastries and overly sugary cereals.

Very basic accommodation and food is inedible. If you have a choice stay elsewhere. Pool is decent but nothing else is of any value here. Wanted to charge extra for water at breakfast, food was stale and reheated. Would not stay here again, spoilt our trip.

We stayed for 1 night Clean and small room, comfortable matresses and pilows, nice view, not so quiet at night beeing a transit hotel The pool was wonderful We did not used their towels The food was basic with few options, good cookies, but not so the coffee

Beautiful property, comfortable beds and pillows. Friendly staff. Lovely affinity swimming pool. Highly recommend.

This is a good place to stay if you are looking for one night near the Tunisian desert. It is not the most modern place, but everything works and the buffet, whilst typically Tunisian was fine. The only disaster was the spa but part of that was down to it being Ramadan.

No way I's this 4 star or 3, bits falling off here there and everywhere..the staff where great, the drinks where to, the food,well not much choice, the rooms clean beds and sheets...so if you want to crash, it's fine. Never left the hotel, and struggled to sleep Sorry but its the truth

I am confused to see so many positive reviews to be honest. When we arrived the staff were rude to us. The room was absolutely filthy and covered in dust. The bedding and pillows had stains on. The food wasn't appetising. There were no lights in the corridors at night. There were flies all over the dining room and landing on our food (fair enough it can be hard to avoid). There is no bottled water in the room - not ideal in the middle of the dessert with no shops around. Most of the issue was that the trip we were on was mis sold to us, but unfortunately two days later when I was back at our original hotel, a Dr was called out to me because I was extremely ill... It was confirmed I had a severe gastro infection usually caused by food. TUI and the rep did nothing to rectify this so be careful of the excursion in this instance, I am not blaming the hotel for this part per say. The staff did change our room to a cleaner one and it seemed that we were in a rubbish side of the hotel originally?

We had booked one night at Sahara Douz hotel. Clean rooms, good food and nice decors! The hotel personell were so amable that they even take care of waking up at the right hour! The pool is just perfect after a hot day!

Excelent hotel. The cleanliness and the rooms are top level. If you want to go to the deset this hotel is perfect . It has a pool open 24/7 and having in mind temperatures here it might be very handy . Top hotel for one day in the desert . The location is within walking distance to desert camel ride , Quads or other activities .

It was a overnight stay , must say the hotel and its services were lovely. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere within and the surrounding areas of the hotel. The food was delicious and the rooms were excellent. Wifi and a working air conditioner! Fantastic Wish we were here a bit longer.

Loved the warm welcome... even though we were only here overnight... ( wish it was longer) The staff were lovely.. the rooms nice.. The hotel sits on the edge of The Sahara... so is busy with all the visitors.. but they have it... so there's no long queues..

Dirty and dusty place! The AC in the rooms was not working! We were a group of 14, all of us complained. The windows could not be shut properly and the room was full with mosquitoes. The staff cannot speak a foreign language other than French. And again - the same ... like in Palm Beach Hotel in Hamamet - no bottled water in the rooms; no internet in all room (it was a miracle that somehow in our room we had internet); etc. The waiter in the restaurant wanted us to pay extra for the napkins and the sandwiches we made. We had to leave the hotel at 3 in the morning, so we had to make sandwiches for a later breakfast and he wanted us to pay! Run away from this hotel! Unfriendly people working there! Around it there is nothing to visit, so you are stuck inside!

We arrived after an amazing trip to the desert. Reception greeting was nice. Room ideal. Meal in restaurant was tasty. It was evening so had a walk and found outside pool and indoor pool . Would definitely return but it was a one night stop on a tour. Lovely hotel

Stayed here for 1 night while on an excursion yo the sahara. The hotel was lovely and the room was big and spacious and clean . Bathroom supplied with toiletries. Food was buffet and nice and a good selection. Staff were friendly and chatty. The hotel seemed nice even though I only spent a night here.
