Tomir Portals Suites - Adults Only

I was really looking forward to getting here after reading the glowing reviews, we went to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. First impressions were good, the reception, bar area looked really lovely. The room was clean, but quite dark. I booked a sea view, which although I could see the sea when I stood right at the end of my balcony, it wasn't quite the view I was expecting. The room finish was a bit low level, fittings it the kitchen area were a bit bodged doors not quite fitting, the wardrobe door made a horrendous noise trying to close and open it, as did the toilet when flushing the whole fitting shook. My husband sat on the sofa and the standing floor lamp next to him literally collapsed into pieces and landed on his head. The make up light on the bathroom mirror did not work, and we had no sink plug. I mentioned this to the older blond lady on reception. She was pleasant at first but looked less than impressed when I mentioned the lamp, her only concern was it the floor or table lamp! No apologies, I asked about the plug and apparently you have to ask for these as previous guests have flooded the bathroom..I've never stayed anywhere where I've asked for a plug. The lamp was fixed and I was given a plug so that was a bonus! The pool was beautiful but the sunbeds were packed in and we couldn't find a pair on the first couple of days. We ended up paying for the bali beds which were very nice and spacious. The breakfast offerings were great, as were the hardworking staff in there. We ate in the restaurant for lunch and again that was very nice, and the staff were lovely and cocktails/ drinks were very good and reasonably priced. We had a nice holiday but wouldn't return personally, the hotel felt too busy for us and I hate battling for sunbed. It felt that when the hotel us at near full capacity the facilities I.e sunbeds are not sufficient to cope, the breakfast although lovely was soo busy not particularly a relaxing start to the day.

My husband & I stayed here in may .. our experience was one of extreme professionalism. From the greeting when we arrived to the thoughtfulness when we were departing. (We had an early morning flight and while we were waiting To be collected to be taken to the airport, we were told to go and help ourselves to tea or coffee from the restaurant) Our stay itself couldn’t be faulted.. our room was amazing & spotlessly clean, as was the whole hotel. The staff , including management, were so friendly and accommodating, I honestly cannot find one fault with this hotel. So good in fact we’re going back, and taking friends, in September. 5 star plus

Wedding party of 60 for the week. This is a beautiful hotel but they really should have informed other guests that they were hosting a big wedding party for at least a week during their stay. The first day was peaceful but then a gang of about 10 loud lads from the wedding arrived. They tried playing football in the pool and using a bluetooth speaker but the lifeguard stopped them. These lads continued drinking and loudd shouting at each other around the pool all day ruining it for other guests. We went to the beach in Palmanova to escape the constant loud noise and other guests said they also went to beaches for the day. If the hotel had been upfront with guests and told us what was going on, we would have stayed somewhere else instead. In terms of facilities, good vegetarian options at breakfast but terrible lunch menu. Triple rooms were also overpriced with 2 single beds and a fold down couch and poor hairdryer.

Really classy hotel and so well run. I stayed on a B&B basis though the food from the pool was superb and I ate most lunchtimes and evenings there as it was superb value, friendly and a great menu. The salmon poke, caesar salad prawn noodle stir fry were the best dishes I had. Lovely bright room with sea view on 6th floor with kitchen facilities and a fridge/kettle. Very good cleaning staff ... great value all round except TUI flight delayed by 4+ hours and stories/excuses differed so unimpressed, unlikely to do a package again as lost 2 days out of 7 in effect as pick up early on 7th day and didn't arrive first day until 11.30 with chaotic scenes at the airport waiting for transport coaches. Really awful start but fortunately the hotel saved the holiday from being a disaster as it was so lovely.

Beautiful hotel, perfectly situated with a 10 minute walk down to the port, breakfast is fantastic lots of variety and very fresh, pool is lovely and big with a large jacuzzi, we ate in the hotel a few nights as the food was very good and reasonable. Staff always have a smile and friendly. Check in was quick and efficient rooms are lovely and spaces and spotless ..

Lets start at the beginning Palma airport needs to sort out its daily / hourly maintenance schedule for the female toilets. They leave a lot to be desired. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by Nico the manager and we checked in at approx.12.30 we were told by the receptionist that the room wouldn't be available until 3pm . My wife had to use the toilet at the back of reception. The area was untidy and the toilet seat was stained. I asked the receptionist after 10 minutes what was the situation with the room and we were given a key to room 119. When we entered the room we were shocked at the condition of the room. The walls were stained the bedroom door had a large chip out of it and there were stains on the sliding door curtain. When we went down to reception Nico the manager wasn't available so an older man dealt with us. He told us there were no other rooms available ?. After about 10 minutes he gave us a key to room 121. We checked out the room and it was an improvement on room 119 but we had to do some house keeping as there was hairs on the wall above the toilet. After that we noticed that Nico the manager was frosty to say the least . No one else occupied room 119 and room 123 was only occupied from Friday 27-9-24 . Housekeeping never swept or washed down the balcony of room 121 in all our time there even though we seen other balconies getting swept. The food at breakfast was ok nothing special. The freshest part of it was probably the omelettes and fried eggs all made to order. We wouldn't stay at this hotel again and its certainly not a 4 star. Greatly exaggerated reviews about it . A rip off

We had an amazing holiday, which was enhanced by the beautiful clean facilities, happy, friendly and helpful staff. And overall the hotel was fantastic value for money.. the food was a very high quality and Nico and his team could not do enough for us.. we will be defiantly be returning. Thank-You.
