It is an old-fashioned small business hotel near the station at the north exit of Fukuyama Station. I chose it with good access to Fukuyama Castle and restaurants area. It was a bit old, but the cleaning was well done and the room was beautiful. The receptionist was polite, kind and serious. Convenience stores are also in front of you, there is no restaurant, but Fukuyama Station UCC has breakfast, and there is no inconvenience at all. Parking is available nearby at 2 places, 500 yen. Twin 8200 yen and relatively reasonable.

I stayed in a single room with him for one night. The car stopped at a nearby shopping mall parking lot for 700 yen a night. I got a PET bottle of water at the front desk😊 The room was happy to see the Shinkansen in the corner room 🚄 The room was also large, and the bed was also 2 people, and I could sleep slowly. The pillow was good with a height. I thought it was convenient with a range 🍱 I think it was a hotel with no complaints. It was a very helpful hotel at an affordable hotel. I would like to stay if I come to Fukuyama again 👍🏠

The hotel was clean and the amenities were substantial and I could go lightly. When I went without bringing a free hair iron, I was told that I was renting out for two days I was staying, and I couldn't use it after all. When I made a reservation on the net, I made a reservation in the first grader of elementary school, but the bed was not walled, and it was impossible to move because it was a fairly large bed. I had adult clothes and slippers, but the children were not prepared to go to the lobby. I didn't have a child's pillow and I applied for an adult, but I thought that there was a child's pillow on the net, and it was too insufficient to prepare for the child. The child's breakfast fee was charged by adding it from the online reservation fee, and I was confused because I didn't know what the plus fee was. Luggage storage after check-out was saved.

I always use this hotel when I stay in Fukuyama. The first time I stayed there, I borrowed a lamp, and they always prepare one in the room for me, which I'm very grateful for. I always have a comfortable stay. The beds are spacious, and the bathroom and toilet are separate, so I always feel like I'm back in my own room. There aren't many types of breakfast, but it tastes good and I always enjoy it. There are restaurants and convenience stores just a short walk away. Best of all, I think it's great that parking is free.

The room was clean, and I was highly aware of corona infection prevention, and I felt relieved. The sea and islands 々 spreading all over the window of the room never got tired of looking at it. Thanks to the delicious meal in the restaurant Kairi private room with a view of the fishing port and the hospitality of the staff, I also played a talk with my family who met Ku 々. It was correct to take an open-air bath on the roof immediately after early check-in, and I was able to enjoy the extraordinary while feeling the wind in Setouchi slowly by myself. I also liked the deck of the hotel facing the sea, felt the sea breeze, heard the rust, and went out to relax many times. Even after checking out, I stopped by after walking around the town of Tsurunoura and sightseeing, and I was able to relax until the shuttle bus time at 2 in the afternoon. It was very easy to access by shuttle bus from Fukuyama Station on the Shinkansen 30 minutes. It was an inn that I wanted to visit again.

Bella Vista Spa & Marina Onomichi is a small luxury resort hotel with just 44 total rooms. This area is known for ship building; the original property served as a serviced guest house for people involved in the industry beginning in 1973. The present property was established in 2007, offering rooms with ocean views and a spa. The property grounds is quite vast - it's perched on a hill overlooking the stunning Seto Inland Sea and the Bella Vista Marina at the water's edge. There are walkways throughout that offer nice vantage points by which to appreciate the scenic beauty of this area of Japan. The outdoor terrace stretches directly from the main indoor common area and has uninhibited views of the Seto Inland Sea. In the middle of the terrace is a stretch of water that appears to flow directly into the ocean (even though the Ocean is quite a ways away) - the water is less than 10cm deep and isn't meant for swimming; it's strictly for show, and it's probably the most Instragrammable aspect of the resort. And, especially in the Summer time, you'll have the ability to enjoy the infinity pool as well as partake in numerous activities (both onsite and outside the property), such as a beach BBQ and island hopping. There's also a ribbon chapel on the property grounds that has won numerous design awards, and I'd imagine that it would serve as a wonderful venue for weddings. In the resort itself, there's a nice spa facility as well as three different restaurants serving Sushi, Kaiseki and Basque-inspired cuisine (using local ingredients and recipes.) We stayed in the Panorama Terrace Suite, which was quite large 100m² and the third from the top category room at Bella Vista. The best room is the Bella Vista Maisonette Spa Suite, but we passed on it because we generally avoid Maisonette-style layouts, while The Bella Vista is similar to the Panorama Terrace Suite, except that it has it has an open air bath with a view of the Ocean; The Bella Vista was already booked when we tried to reserve it. While our room was spacious, nicely appointed and clean, it was showing its age somewhat. It could probably benefit from a refurbishment within the next few years, especially given the room rates that they charge here. There is a dearth of power outlets as well, which is further evidence that it was built more than a decade ago. The room has a stand-alone bath tub, but it's not Onsen (natural hot springs.) In fact, there's no longer Onsen anywhere on site - supposedly, Onsen stopped flowing about 7 years ago, and that was that. It's a shame, given that there is ”Spa” in the property's name, but a Japanese Spa resort without Onsen is a bit of a misnomer if you ask me. Not their fault, but them's the facts. Dining wise, Bella Vista offers 3 options - Sushi, Kaiseki and Basque-inspired cuisine. All three of the restaurants serve dishes using the very best of local ingredients from both land and sea. We had dinner at Erretegia, the Basque-Japanese restaurant, and it w

I spent a night here with my gf and it was a marvelous experience. They offer a luxurious dinner and breakfast experience that uses locally caught seafood and ingredients that will made your stay very pleasant. Located in a quiet area away from the city's hustle and bustle but still within walking distance from the local station and seaport. The staff were very hospitable and very thoughtful. The room offered a traditional Japanese bathroom with a tub made from cypress that gives a pleasant aroma when bathing. It has a nice outdoor view that you can enjoy from comfort of your own bathtub. The rooms a nicely appointed and have a 5-star experience that you can only experience at this ryokan. I would definitely recommend staying here if you ever visit Onomichi!

Stayed 1N. This is a very small hotel. It is located facing the water and beautiful sakura trees. The lobby is located at the back street and the restaurant is at the front of the building. Check-in was quick and the front desk personnel were hospitable. I was assigned a room facing the water and the sakura trees which were in full bloom. The room is typically small by Japanese standards. Only 1 small hard pillow, firm bed. Strong Wifi signal. Breakfast was a semi-buffet - the mains came in a tray and the breads, cereal and juices were self-service. The owner is an elderly gentleman who took the trouble to meet and greet guests at breakfast. No on-site onsen. You'll need to take a taxi to the nearest bathhouse.

We stayed two nights here, before and after cycling the Shimanami Kaido. The location could not be better. Arriving by train, the hotel is just across a pedestrian walkway, facing the inland sea. Most of the cycle rental places are along the waterfront or nearby. The short ferry trip to start the cycling is almost in front of the hotel. The Superior Queen room with view was comfortable with electric kettle, green tea & coffee drip bags. The view (from levels 5 & 6) was great. The rooms have a retro charm. Breakfast was included & offered western & Japanese options. Nothing fancy but perfectly adequate. The reception staff speak some English & they were happy to store our luggage while we cycled. There is a coin laundry & bike storage off the main reception area. Overall, very good value.

WWan tingThe staff was very good, helped me take my luggage to the third floor, a little shaking stairs, very powerful 👍.
The suitcase can be spread out, the space is large, the construction site wind, the place where my head pillow is above the unpacked beam, there are two wood, it feels not safe, I changed the side to sleep!
VVennisaOnly here for 2 consecutive nights. At first, unable to figure out how to enter to the hotel, as when arrived there, the entrance door was locked and only able to open with key. Was curious how to have a key before check-in. Later on, found a board that stated ‘To check in, please stop by at the Fukuyama Oriental Hotel which is 3 doors south of this hotel’. Anyway, just small matter since it was just few doors next to the Anchor hotel. The hotel room was spacious and comfy, they provided good quality of amenities, love the shower gel and shampoo! All are Lavender favours... There was a tablet inside the room that show some useful information, such as the nearby restaurants and attractions. The hotel location was strategic too, located near to Fukuyama JR station, only walking distance to Fukuyama Castle! In additions, the hotel also offered a simple breakfast for all the hotel guest! Anchor dog (in-house hot dog), brew coffee and fresh orange juice, you choose to dine in or take away! This was really great as the breakfast was initially not included during the hotel booking. The hotel ambient was really nice... Really enjoyable with my stay with Anchor in Fukuyama!
GGuest UserThe hotel is very convenient to travel near the station, the breakfast is relatively simple because it is a business hotel so it is normal, the hotel has a parking lot, business hotels are not suitable for bringing children.
SScenic805322It was about 5 minutes walk from the station and there were many convenience stores and meals between the hotel, which was very convenient. The room was clean and I want to use it again next time.
