Bella Vista Spa & Marina Onomichi is a small luxury resort hotel with just 44 total rooms. This area is known for ship building; the original property served as a serviced guest house for people involved in the industry beginning in 1973. The present property was established in 2007, offering rooms with ocean views and a spa. The property grounds is quite vast - it's perched on a hill overlooking the stunning Seto Inland Sea and the Bella Vista Marina at the water's edge. There are walkways throughout that offer nice vantage points by which to appreciate the scenic beauty of this area of Japan. The outdoor terrace stretches directly from the main indoor common area and has uninhibited views of the Seto Inland Sea. In the middle of the terrace is a stretch of water that appears to flow directly into the ocean (even though the Ocean is quite a ways away) - the water is less than 10cm deep and isn't meant for swimming; it's strictly for show, and it's probably the most Instragrammable aspect of the resort. And, especially in the Summer time, you'll have the ability to enjoy the infinity pool as well as partake in numerous activities (both onsite and outside the property), such as a beach BBQ and island hopping. There's also a ribbon chapel on the property grounds that has won numerous design awards, and I'd imagine that it would serve as a wonderful venue for weddings. In the resort itself, there's a nice spa facility as well as three different restaurants serving Sushi, Kaiseki and Basque-inspired cuisine (using local ingredients and recipes.) We stayed in the Panorama Terrace Suite, which was quite large 100m² and the third from the top category room at Bella Vista. The best room is the Bella Vista Maisonette Spa Suite, but we passed on it because we generally avoid Maisonette-style layouts, while The Bella Vista is similar to the Panorama Terrace Suite, except that it has it has an open air bath with a view of the Ocean; The Bella Vista was already booked when we tried to reserve it. While our room was spacious, nicely appointed and clean, it was showing its age somewhat. It could probably benefit from a refurbishment within the next few years, especially given the room rates that they charge here. There is a dearth of power outlets as well, which is further evidence that it was built more than a decade ago. The room has a stand-alone bath tub, but it's not Onsen (natural hot springs.) In fact, there's no longer Onsen anywhere on site - supposedly, Onsen stopped flowing about 7 years ago, and that was that. It's a shame, given that there is ”Spa” in the property's name, but a Japanese Spa resort without Onsen is a bit of a misnomer if you ask me. Not their fault, but them's the facts. Dining wise, Bella Vista offers 3 options - Sushi, Kaiseki and Basque-inspired cuisine. All three of the restaurants serve dishes using the very best of local ingredients from both land and sea. We had dinner at Erretegia, the Basque-Japanese restaurant, and it w

2 Use twin room in 3 days. The bathroom was divided by glass and the bathroom was a wide 々 with a washroom on the bus. The room is large and the desk is wide 々, so it is enough to work and work on a personal computer. There are USB power and outlets on the bedside 1, and it is OK to go and go while charging other devices, of course. Because it was a corona, the meal was avoided by the hotel. There was a convenience store 2 nearest 5 minutes walk and a supermarket (FRESTA), so there was no problem. It was very beautiful because it was open and the staff was also impressive. The parking lot is tower parking, but the staff here was polite and very impressive. If you visit by car, you can use it well because it is the first staff to contact you. The parking lot is 1200 yen / night is a little expensive

The staff was very good, helped me take my luggage to the third floor, a little shaking stairs, very powerful 👍. The suitcase can be spread out, the space is large, the construction site wind, the place where my head pillow is above the unpacked beam, there are two wood, it feels not safe, I changed the side to sleep!

Less than 5 minutes from the north exit of Fushan Station. Of course, the hotels in Fushan are basically very close to the station. I am very happy to get the room on the side of Fushan City. It happens to be a weekend. The lights in Fushan City are shining at night and it is very beautiful. Crossing the road from the hotel is the entrance of Fushan City. The hotel room is not small, the only regret is that there is no big bath. Microwave oven, ice maker, self-service laundry are available. In February of 23 years, the hotel was undergoing internal decoration upgrades. There is no noise during sleep. Nice hotel, the price is right.

Only here for 2 consecutive nights. At first, unable to figure out how to enter to the hotel, as when arrived there, the entrance door was locked and only able to open with key. Was curious how to have a key before check-in. Later on, found a board that stated ‘To check in, please stop by at the Fukuyama Oriental Hotel which is 3 doors south of this hotel’. Anyway, just small matter since it was just few doors next to the Anchor hotel. The hotel room was spacious and comfy, they provided good quality of amenities, love the shower gel and shampoo! All are Lavender favours... There was a tablet inside the room that show some useful information, such as the nearby restaurants and attractions. The hotel location was strategic too, located near to Fukuyama JR station, only walking distance to Fukuyama Castle! In additions, the hotel also offered a simple breakfast for all the hotel guest! Anchor dog (in-house hot dog), brew coffee and fresh orange juice, you choose to dine in or take away! This was really great as the breakfast was initially not included during the hotel booking. The hotel ambient was really nice... Really enjoyable with my stay with Anchor in Fukuyama!

I spent a night here with my gf and it was a marvelous experience. They offer a luxurious dinner and breakfast experience that uses locally caught seafood and ingredients that will made your stay very pleasant. Located in a quiet area away from the city's hustle and bustle but still within walking distance from the local station and seaport. The staff were very hospitable and very thoughtful. The room offered a traditional Japanese bathroom with a tub made from cypress that gives a pleasant aroma when bathing. It has a nice outdoor view that you can enjoy from comfort of your own bathtub. The rooms a nicely appointed and have a 5-star experience that you can only experience at this ryokan. I would definitely recommend staying here if you ever visit Onomichi!

I was able to go to Onomichi for a trip this time. I was taken care of here because it was close to the station, but I was able to stay slowly. [Room] It was not particularly large, but I was alone so I was able to stay without any problems.Amenities are also available. The hotel seems to be still built and not so long ago, so everything is relatively new. WIFI was not particularly problematic. [Breakfast] You can eat on the 1 floor. The venue is not so big, so it seems to be full soon. The amount was not so much, but I didn't eat so much in the morning, so it was rather good. [Customer service] The front desk 々 was very kind.Late Out was also requested for my convenience, but it responded smoothly. [General review] When I made a reservation, it was the top floor if I made a high-rise REQ. The view was also good and I was able to stay slowly. Thank you for your consideration. I think it is a hotel that can be recommended personally ⭐️

This is a wonderful hotel, unfortunately we were put into the smallest room, one that was so small and filled with unusable furniture that there was no space for one guest let alone two. Getting around meant one person had to stay on the bed while the other crawled to the sink or shower room. The room was so tiny that staying in it was a constant source of tension, the kind of tension that can ruin a vacation. It was so small, it was almost impossible to step into the room and move aside so you could close the door behind you. There is a similar problem maneuvering into the shower. So if you want to stay in this hotel definitely ask not to be put in room 214. It's torture. Management would do well to remove the bed, the nightstand, the chair (which cannot be used because it has to be crammed so close to the small bed), and the small table next to the chair that also cannot be used. Replace the furniture with tatami, futons and a couple of pads to sit on. Now, moving on from the agitation of being sentenced to Room 214, this hotel has a lot going for it. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The hotel and the Onomichi train station share the same building -- a brand new building -- so as soon as you step off the train, you're at your hotel. Also, the building is completely soundproof. You will not hear or feel trains rumbling by or any noise from the bus and car traffic from in front of the hotel. The rooms have cathedral ceilings, not just high ceilings but vaulted ceilings, which I'm sure would have felt luxurious had we not been stuck in Room 214. The rooms also have high windows that give you a lot of ambient light and, I'm sure, great views from some of the rooms. Before being pointed to your room, you are brought to an amenity counter and allowed to take as many packets of luxury face washes, night creams and other cosmetics as you desire. A N'espresso machine and coffee capsules await you in your room. Once again, this is a wonderfully charming and modern hotel in a wonderfully charming and funky city. We plan to return to Onomichi when it is not so hot -- and stay in this hotel. But we'll ask for a larger room.

There seemed to be a bus from Shin-Onomichi, but I took a taxi and arrived at the hotel in about 15 minutes. Take the elevator from the road and there is a reception on the 2nd floor. The room was very large and had a good water view. The JR station, restaurant, small shopping building, etc. were also nearby and it was in a good location. Anyway, it was cold so I used the hotel Italian for dinner. It was my first time with lemon-flavored carbonara, but it was delicious. I was impressed that the friendly staff who served in Italian the night before at the breakfast restaurant the next day said that thank you for using the restaurant last night.

TTAKABOOOOOIt is an old-fashioned small business hotel near the station at the north exit of Fukuyama Station. I chose it with good access to Fukuyama Castle and restaurants area. It was a bit old, but the cleaning was well done and the room was beautiful. The receptionist was polite, kind and serious. Convenience stores are also in front of you, there is no restaurant, but Fukuyama Station UCC has breakfast, and there is no inconvenience at all. Parking is available nearby at 2 places, 500 yen.
