Ashiwada Hotel

You can enjoy the spectacular view of Lake Kawaguchi right in front of you at an affordable price. Enjoy to your heart's content from sunrise to sunset! There are almost no people on the streets, and you can hear the chirping of birds. The hospitality of the inn is just right and comfortable. The hot springs are comfortable as the open-air bath can be used as a sleeping bath. The wine bath inside has a nice scent. I want to go again!
Shoji Lake Hotel

It is a small hotel. The rooms are decorated in a nostalgic Japanese style. The lobby was renovated earlier. There are not many facilities. It is a bit old but very clean. There are small baths and open-air baths. Since there are not many guests, it will not be crowded even if it is small. The staff is friendly. On the night of check-in and the next morning when you return to the hotel after taking photos, you will be served drinks in the lobby. When you leave, they will take the initiative to take photos for guests at the door with Mount Fuji as the background. The hotel faces Mount Fuji, so you can see Mount Fuji from the door and from the room. The location is not in a busy city, so it will be more convenient to drive by yourself. There are not many shops nearby, so it is best to buy some food for dinner and breakfast. The hotel also sells cup noodles and a small number of snacks, as well as drink vending machines. The advantage of living here is that if the weather is good when you get up early in the morning, you can see Mount Fuji before setting off to take pictures. If you want to take photos at several nearby lakes, it is a good choice. You can also take beautiful photos on the top floor of the hotel. The hotel's TV will automatically turn on at six in the morning. It may be the morning alarm clock. It was not mentioned when checking in, which is a bit scary, but once I open the window and see the beautiful Mount Fuji, it doesn't matter.

Hotel Lake Dragon Search cheap and hot spring hotels around Kawaguchi Lake♨ Inexpensive for single room without bathtub to this [Hotel Lake Dragon] I wanted to relax in hot springs without taking a bath in the room So it's a location with a view of Kawaguchiko Well (・᷄֊・᷅)/(・᷅-・᷄) If you say greed, you can't see Mt. Fuji from the room. minus point 🗻☀️。° Mt. Fuji walks to Kawaguchiko Ohashi bridge and you can see it immediately. You can do it. The facilities are 々 aging is also conspicuous, but the employees are friendly with polite language. The old-fashioned meals in the hot spring hotel, yukata, etc., like I went on a school trip when I was a child. I remember the nostalgic memories such as scenery. The hot springs are also open-air baths and the hot water is the best ♨️ The meal was only breakfast, but the contents were not good. The contents were a little bit more. as long as it's lonely as monsters and silas... well, it's a price-worthy feeling.
Fuji Onsenji Yumedono

I am really struggling with this review but decided to give a 2 star review as I took Price into consideration for this. The ryokan is highly rated on here which might be down to different experiences or different expectations. So let me get into why I was not impressed: I know Japan very well, come here multiple times a year for work and some extra time and even lived here a few years ago. I have stayed in multiple Ryokans with lovely Onsens all over the country and usually prefer the more traditional buildings and atmospheres. In the mouth Fuji Region this seemed to be one of very few that meets that criteria. However during our stay, I found that none of the usual Japanese „omotenashi“ really apply here. This ryokan had zero Japanese guests and catered exclusively to foreign tourists. The rooms are nice but certainly not great- especially considering the price. No public onsen just a shallow marble tub outside each room which heavily lacks atmosphere or Beauty. The hotel misses elements of nature and relaxation throughout- which usually is staple of a nice traditional ryokan. Then the staff- the non-Japanese staff actually tries very hard but they are clearly not aware of some of the customs at traditional places. The Japanese stuff might have been the coldest staff I have ever experienced in Japan. As I speak Japanese, I usually manage to get into a nice conversation with staff at such ryokans - at this one, that was not at all possible. They wouldn’t even speak Japanese with me. The breakfast service was fine but felt really rushed and service was cold. Dinner was an absolute nightmare - no accommodation was made for a serious allergy. Actually there was no concern whatsoever- we even identified the ingredient in a dish that the waiter said was ok… and when we pointed it out he just said „please don’t eat then“. Usually staff in Japan bends over backwards to make sure all is fine with your meal. Also- the 24,000 yen/person kaiserlich dinner was served at such a speed that we had at times three courses in front of us. Flexibility is definitely also not a word in their vocabulary - no changes can be made to anything - but that would be ok if the staff was just overall trying a bit harder. Food quality was good but again not better than at similar places for half the price. Overall the ryokan lacks a loving touch and I can only assume that it is badly managed as the staff is clearly unmotivated. You can definitely do much better in Japan and a big lesson for me is to always look out for reviews from locals as they know best what the standard for such a place should be. As someone who loves japan and has close ties to the country through work and friends, I am always happy to see positive reviews about the Japanese hospitality and service - however o encourage everyone who rated their stay highly here to try some other great ryokans in Japan to find out for yourselves how much better it can get.

The hotel is located 1.5 km from the station and offers free navigation service (up to 10 a.m. in the direction of return and from 15:00 p.m.) and is in a very quiet place just in front of the lake and 500 metres from the shopping centre. The rooms are spacious and light (the corner of tatami with low table and sleeping furnishings, the rooms are spacious and light-shown, the rooms are spacious and light-shown, the rooms are spacious and light-shown, the rooms are spacious and light-shown, the rooms are spacious and light-shown. Used in July 2021. When I was looking for a hotel near Kawaguchiko Stellar Theater, I found a Western-style pension with an open-air bath! I made a reservation right away. It's a little far from Kawaguchiko Station, but they provided a shuttle service which was very helpful. I took off my shoes at the entrance and wore slippers indoors. All rooms on the first floor have an open-air bath, and you can only use the private open-air bath if you stay on the second floor. There was a cute bath in the room, but the open-air bath in the spacious and comfortable atmosphere was appealing, and I visited it many times during my stay! I was happy that it was available 24 hours a day. All amenities are available. There was no drink service provided in the room, but it was available in the lobby and you could bring it into your room. You can also purchase plastic bottles at reasonable prices. Alcohol was also on the menu. While relaxing in the open-air bath during the day, I heard a certain artist rehearsing from the Stella Theater, which made me feel happy. This breakfast was exquisite! The salads, dishes, soups, baked bread, fruits, and yogurt were also delicious✨ I was relaxing in the forest, and I was very comforted by the personality of the owner and his wife.
