The country house is a little bit away from the main road road, but you are rewarded with a wonderful and spacious garden with plenty of loungers for relaxing by the pool. The city center with its many shops and restaurants is still within easy walking distance. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding vineyards, but you should also take the time to enjoy a relaxing afternoon in the garden with a view of the mountains. We would love to come back.

We had a great four night stay at this magical B&B. The ever changing clouds on the mountain tops were a sight to behold. Our room was spacious with a lovely extra large bed. The gardens are beautiful to stroll around, with two inviting pools to relax by. A visit here will not disappoint.

La Cabriere is a peaceful retreat outside Franschhoek with lovely gardens. Lisa, Kenny and the team were very friendly and helpful. There’s a nice relaxing vibe to the place.

We had a wonderful short stay at La Cabriere. We were greeted by the manager Lisa who was so warm and friendly and a joy to be around and chat to. The views were stunning with mountains and a beautiful flowered garden. So peaceful to wake up to. Breakfast was top notch with eggs made to your liking. I had omelette everytime which was made perfect. Sitting in the garden eating when weather permitted. The rooms were very luxurious and the staff were so nice and friendly. Only 15 minutes walk to town. Highly recommend and please God hopefully we can stay again. Thanks Lisa!

Excellent hotel in a stunning location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb. Short walk into the town of Franschhoek. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely location. Rooms are good however after three days of issues with power supply and no information or support from the owners re complete blackouts from 8pm feel this B&B has let guests down. It was explained the issue was ultimately the fault of work they had done on solar panels and this had taken down the generator. Promised all would be resolved but as of yet this not the case. Requested a torch but this also not forthcoming. When everything good I can see why reviews are all good but obviously when things go wrong you feel you are on your own!
