Hotels near Cachoeira dos Macacos, Foz do Iguacu

The room is nice and big, very quiet, the outdoor garden is very good, When I checked out, I asked the front desk for a bottle of water to drink. They asked me to go to the leisure bar to buy it. This is a bit too stingy for this hotel.

Desde o momento da chegada, fomos recebidos com uma calorosa hospitalidade e um serviço impecável. As instalações do hotel são extremamente confortáveis. Nosso quarto estava sempre limpo e organizado, proporcionando um ambiente relaxante e acolhedor. Além disso, a localização do hotel é perfeita, facilitando o acesso às principais atrações da cidade. Gostaria de destacar também o atendimento atencioso de toda a equipe, que sempre esteve pronta para ajudar e tornar nossa estadia ainda mais agradável. Muito obrigada por tudo!

hotel is not really close to anything except a shopping mall 15 minutes walk where you find plenty of restaurants (food court) and shop. WIFI was working well, pool was pleasant but not very clean. Staff seem a bit disorganized and probably this hotel need some ”dynamic team” to take over. there's a bus stop close to hotel's door. Breakfast was good though missing some items....so would not give maximal note but not far from . They do NOT provide any drinking water in the room even if there's a fridge...also no coffee/tee amenities. TV is ONLY getting Brazilian/Argentina channels...nothing in English or other foreign languages...this was not good.

took the public bus from Foz airport to within 300 yards of hotel which is off the beaten track in an exceptionally hilly town so selecting the stop at the top of the hill is pretty important! friendly welcome at reception on arrival, efficient check in with all important info explained carefully. large comfy clean room with fridge and efficient A/C. breakfast included was pretty good with toaster to make cheese & ham toastie. nice pool with plenty of bed chairs (although only 59F so not used). buffet dinner with a la carte choices ok but unexciting. recommended Ten minutes walk (uphill) to public bus for Argentina or Paraguay (stops OUTSIDE bus Terminal) or falls (stop inside)

We love this resort. Sadly, we only stayed two nights, and I feel like we should have stayed at least three days. One problem I had is that I requested a room with a king or queen bed size, and they ended up giving me a room with two beds. Overall, the place is awesome, the drinks are perfect and we're excited to see the expansion of this place.

Upon arriving at the hotel at 11 am after a full night of travel, I was asked to stay and wait until 2 pm or until a room opened up. I then requested an upgrade, hoping a higher level room would open up sooner. As a Wyndham Diamond member, not only did they not recognize my status or any membership with them at all, they also tried to charge me for the upgrade and did not allow any early check-in. It was only after mentioning that I was Diamond and showing them on the app that Diamond members can get free upgrades that they allowed me to be upgraded and check-in early. While I'm happy with the result, I've never had any other hotel neglect to acknowledge my status, especially if it's that respective brand's top-tier status. I've also never had to remind the hotel itself of their own membership benefits policy. To me, it seems almost embarrassing that they did not know how to treat their Diamond members. Other Wyndhams I've stayed at were happy to upgrade me, oftentimes without me even requesting it. For the stay itself, the suite was nice and very large. Two queen beds with a small seating area. TV was positioned a bit oddly, but still watchable. I liked that they had a microwave, kettle, and fridge, but the fridge was stocked full of drinks that they laughably did not know or have the prices for. There was also a vent in the room that was making odd noises and allowing warm air inside. The room did have a nice view, though, and the location was not bad. Finally, breakfast was actually quite good, with decent variety and hot food options. Check-out was a breeze and very quick, thanks to me not consuming any minibar drinks.

My partner and I came from Australia, I speak Spanish he only speaks English. I would like to point out the at half of the staff were will with runny noses, coughs, etc while working! I understand that it’s a Covid world however my partner ended up with a cold (we tested for Covid he was negative) missing out on the last day of our trip by staying in bed. What needs to be understood when you work in travel is that if one of the workers were to transmit Covid or anything else it can literally stop people from returning home…. I am begging this hotel to please reconsider their coming into work while sick policy. The housekeeper was sick the man at the front desk when we checked in was sick the girl at the front desk was sick (at least she wore a mask) and unfortunately due to travel restrictions it’s not acceptable to coke to work while ill. The hotel is very centrally located, it’s very easy and cheap to get to all of the major attractions on both the Brazilian and Argentinian side. Please note: if you want to go to the Argentinian side of the falls From this hotel they have a service costing around 100 Reis that brings you leaving once per day at 7:30 am (we did not know that and spent 350 reis to go and spent most of the morning trying to figure out how to get there, luckily we had augusto who is absolutely fantastic!) Pro: 1. The staff was absolutely lovely! Augusto at reception so amazing! He never made us feel like anything was a problem and he was happy to communicate in English. Julia from the tourism agency in the reception area was absolutely amazing spoke English and really a helped ! Cleaning and breakfast staff were super friendly! But Augusto and Julia are huge assets to this hotel and helped us tremendously during our stay! 2. Decent quality for what you pay 3. Location is good 4. Decent breakfast 5. Rooms are clean! Cons: 1. I am pretty easy going and have travelled a lot. I booked a superior room the first room they tried to give us was super tiny only fit the bed, had a funny smell and looked like a dorm room and we had a friendly big guest… I went to reception he was lovely (sick) but lovely and changed our room to a beautiful upgraded room right outside the elevator.. I’m a light sleeper and on my booking asked that I would not be placed near any common ways elevators stairs common rooms etc.. he assured me it wouldn’t be noisy… it was super loud. The next morning we met Augusto and he showed us 4 different rooms to choose from to move again and it was so nice of him! 2. This hotel is absolutely not soundproofed in the least. The rooms say soundproofing you can literally hear when someone upstairs moves a chair, hear people talking at all hours in the corridors, cleaners talking outside the room 7:30/8am and hear people taking a shower in their room. Estive no hotel para um congresso, estava lotado de participantes de todas as idades, acho q por isso o muito barulho. Quarto com frigobar, armário (q poderia ser melhor aproveitado), tv, ar condicionado… tudo naquele controle central q fica na cabeceira. Alguns móveis velhos mas isso é o de menos, o problema maior é a cama! Cheguei a travar. Cama velha de mola, toda ja com buracos e ondulações, muito desconfortável. Também a falta de uma cortina blackout nas janelas de vidro. Banheiro é pequeno mas não vejo como problema, chuveiro elétrico daquele mais simples mas tem uma vazão de água até q boa… Café da manhã “básico” (pensando em hotel!), não iriei opinar porque não posso comer glúten então fiquei restrita. Internet grátis ruim, principalmente se vc for precisar pra trabalhar. Funcionários simpáticos, cheguei antes do horário de checkin e pude deixar minhas malas já no hotel…

It was my second trip to Foz do Iguaçu and we chose the Manacá Hotel for the second time, however we chose to pay for a slightly more expensive room and to our disappointment the bathroom had a very strong smell of sewage.
