On arrival we were met at the reception desk by a very laid back guy He informed us we had been given an upgrade ,and our room was overlooking the Loch Room was large and well maintained,Bed was huge would have slept four if you are in to that sort of thing The Hotel is close by for the High Street and the Station Only complaint was the noise coming from the room above .Sounded like they were wearing Doc Martin boots on there feet,.But of course the Hotel cannot be held accountable for that.Perhaps they could put a note in the rooms asking that they respect the people in room below One tip.The restaurants get busy very early,as there are a lot of North Americans staying in area,so would recommend you book a table where possible

I really like this hotel. The view is amazing, and the reception is very friendly. They also have a restaurant and bar downstairs, which is really a saver for us after a long day of driving.

Parking is convenient and free, suitable for self-driving tour. Breakfast is OK, it is a traditional English breakfast. The room is not old, but it is still clean. It is still acceptable for one night, and there is a big supermarket next to it. Cost-effective

Prices start at £4 or £5 per night... This is an old castle hotel on the west side of the Scottish Highlands. From a common area point of view everything is well done and impeccable. But from the point of view of the rooms...the price/performance ratio is obviously super low. The facilities are outdated, so I asked for a humidifier... A hair dryer that was produced 20 years ago came, which was completely unacceptable and had no humidifying effect at all. The shower room has very strict requirements on the size of the guests, and I personally feel that the water pressure can be further improved and improved. The laudable point is that the shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap in the bathroom...all have two ball royal certifications, and the quality is also carried. The cold and hot water device of the washbasin is a traditional separate type, which is the kind of water that you either use cold water or hot water, and it cannot be warm water anyway. The sofa in the guest room is made of fabric. The disadvantage is that you can't see whether it has lice or whether it is clean. Anyway, it is so old that people don't want to sit on it at all. The hotel is opposite the station.theres a underpass leading to a park by the hotel free parking at the hotel. Disabled access and facilities in the hotel. Management and staff couldn't have been more helpful. We had a excellent 1st floor room with shower. Nice bar and lounge. Despite the amount off people the meals were excellent served by really helpful staff different menu each night each as good as the day before. Breakfast was as good both hot and cold choices. Good location and easy parking. The restaurant in the hotel is very poor. I ordered a steak for dinner. I said it would be five mature, but I couldn't bite it. It was definitely over-fried. She whispered to the restaurant manager and said that she was so expressionless, and she was not sorry at all. . We also don't want to be in a bad mood for her, calmly ask her to take away the plate of steak that hasn't been moved and tell her: This steak is very bad, but your work attitude is worse than steak! Very satisfied, we live in a room alone, the double bed sleeps two people a bit small, sleeps one person is very comfortable, the hot water is very good, the room is very clean, the two sets of towels, the shower gel is not all need to bring your own, there is a kitchen, you can prepare breakfast yourself. It is a very old hotel, the hotel should be refurbished, just fine. However, there is no elevator, which is a bit inconvenient. The hotel is very tasteful. I feel that I can take a good look at the stairs. The windows all have a little history, but they are still clean. The toilet is very light, it is not bad. Because I saw the evaluation before going to the general, I felt that it was worth it. The restaurant is very good, the price is OK, the sirlion steak is super delicious, staying in the UK for so long, is the best sirloin I have ever eaten, I ordered the medium rare, superb, the chef is very good. Hey, I also saw the black cat in the hotel, very cute. It feels like a good experience, and the breakfast buffet is also excellent.

We stayed here on their 3 night Hogmanay package from 30th December - 2nd January and had a fantastic time When we arrived we were a little confused as the signage on the building doesn't match the website so thought we had the wrong place but once you step inside it is a beautiful and cosy inn. The bedrooms were small but lovely and recently decorated. The bathrooms were a little tired but fine. Each meal we had there was exceptional. They have a great head chef and we really were so impressed with the quality of the food. We felt like we got to sample a lot of the local produce. The staff were all really lovely and took great care of us. One of the wait staff played bagpipes at midnight on New Years Eve which was fantastic. The location is perfect to get to Glencoe Mountain as well as Ben Nevis. Its really well situated. All around I would really recommend spending New Years Eve for a proper Scottish experience and I think we will book this again this year with a bigger group of friends.
