There are really few reviews about this hotel, especially for Chinese tourists. I have also done a lot of homework, but there are no substantial opinions, so I want to write a review that is useful for Chinese tourists.
First of all, there are really few Chinese tourists in this hotel. I didn't meet any during my four-day stay. I will evaluate it from several aspects: First, the service is very good. From the first night of check-in, the front desk who greeted us and the service staff and staff we met every day were warm and thoughtful. Second, the environment. The hotel has many rooms and a large location. The room we were assigned is close to the hotel restaurant and the swimming pool and beach. We walked around the hotel. If we were assigned to a slightly farther room, it would actually take several minutes to walk, but they should have a battery car pick-up service (we used a battery car to deliver our luggage on the first day we came). The hotel's greenery and swimming pool are good, not to mention the beach, which is really pleasant. Third, the room is quite satisfactory. If you are used to staying in a domestic five-star hotel, you may not be able to adapt to it. After all, the facilities and decorations in China are really excellent now. The hotel does not provide toothbrushes, and the drinks in the mini bar are charged. The shower is a bit lacking in water and a bit hot and cold. Fourth, for meals, we booked HB, because I booked this hotel half a year in advance, so the price-performance ratio is good. I would like to point out that if you are really used to eating white food, you should find it ok, but I couldn't eat it on the third day, I missed the eight major cuisines of China too much. Finally, this hotel is very close to Casela, Blue Bay, and the starting point of Chasing Dolphins. In short, this hotel is worth recommending.
On the leeward western coast of Mauritius with almost a kilometre of sandy beaches Sugar Beach resort faces the turquoise waters of a paradise lagoon. This five star hotel in Mauritius has a contemporary plantation-style architecture reminiscent of a colonial mansion.
With ten to 12 rooms each the 16 Mauritian Villas at Sugar Beach are scattered around the luxuriant vegetation of the 12 hectares of immaculate tropical gardens mere metres away from the Indian Ocean. With its traditional Mauritian style the hotel also comprises a central reception building as well as an imposing Manor House.

1, meals: room type breakfast and dinner, breakfast is not much choice, the quality of the food is obviously not as good as lux, but the taste is delicious, all kinds of curry is delicious; dinner only includes the main restaurant (other restaurants deduct 900 rupees) ), staying for three days to look at luck, the first day to eat the first Italian food that was unpleasant in Mauritius, and took the ”white mushroom” result is a tasteless pasta, taking the ”black mushroom” result is bitter It’s so shocking to burn eggplants (I’m so hard to eat mushrooms), it’s a delicate dumpling, but it’s a tasteless Italian dough. . . I ate half of the meal and laughed because I had never eaten such a ridiculous five-star hotel dinner. Not only the vegetables tasted so bad, but the raw beef that the European and American guests loved was all tasteless and ham. From the inside to the outside, it smells unfresh (cheap), and the fruits, melons, and melons are scattered everywhere. Even the local varieties of papaya are very raw and sweet. . . . . . The next day honeymoon package, the hotel upgraded the beachside restaurant (called forgot, b..b..), honeymoon package is very good, sitting on the beach watching the stars and opposite pigs Teammates, taste a lot. Just three-way cooking speed and Europe and Europe are completely in line, obviously almost no guests, a few dishes to eat for 2 hours, the dessert is also very interesting, on the three small cakes, in fact, are coconut cake, gave different toppings. . . -_-||. . . On the third day, I encountered a more traditional buffet. I have to say that in addition to the very dark dishes of Italian cuisine, the curry of the little blacks is still very good. I am full of curry + fried rice. . . 2, service: the hotel's front desk service and room service are very good, the response is very fast, I don't know the shame of the night, I put forward various requirements, the little black brothers are very enthusiastic and very quickly come to the room to help me engage in this. . The little brother who cleans the bedroom is eager to understand the etiquette. Every night, the water is delivered in a timely manner. I also call say goodbye to increase the sensitivity (it may also be a tip). The only dissatisfaction was the staff of the main restaurant. When we had dinner on the third day, we forced us to order drinks. In fact, there is not a lot of money per person, but the user experience is simply? ? ? ? ? Laozi lives in the 2000+ room. What is the significance of forcing me to consume dozens of dollars of alcohol? ? ? ? ? Check-out and the front desk complained about this problem, it really is the restaurant's little black bullying Chinese tourists, not the hotel regulations, huh, huh. 3, rooms, facilities, etc.: Honey room belongs to the American style that I don't appreciate too much. When I open the door, I feel that ”wow is broken”, but after a long time I also found the dilapidated charm, which is very interesting. Due to the one-day tour of the hotel for a few days, I booked the most basic suite. I didn't expect the balcony of the room to face the beautiful sunset, the gate facing the rainforest and the small pool. It looked very quiet (in fact, very noisy, The number of birds on the edge of the pool is amazing, and the birds that are bombarded with bomber decibels every evening and early morning are also very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is located in the southwest, Sugar Bay is very quiet and beautiful, watching the beach have a sense of inner peace. However, the hotel's lighting master's taste needs to be improved, and the pink, purple, and royal blue lights will shine at night, emmmmm. . . . In summary, it is still recommended for honey hotels, especially for the small partners who have traveled for a few days in the south. They are full, affordable, close to the attractions, and they see the warm sunset when they finish their journey every day. . In addition, remember to carefully check the bills, don't be fooled by the little blacks, the little blacks of Mauritius are so so, be careful to be inexplicably charged! (We found 3 euros without consent)

Upon arrival we were greeted by the charming Valerie 😀 and showed us to our apartment. Spacious and clean rooms, the apartments have everything you need for your stay, each room has air conditioning. Our morning started with breakfast on the terrace accompanied by birdsong overlooking the pool and garden 🤩. The pool is clean, surrounded by greenery and equipped with secluded relaxation areas. Walking distance to Flic-en-Flac beach is 20 minutes, by car 3 minutes. There are no shops or cafes within walking distance of Villasan; For a comfortable stay, use a rented car. I would definitely recommend these apartments, our holiday was wonderful. We will definitely come back here ;)

During this trip to Mauritius, I stayed in a total of 5 hotels, including the popular Prince Hotel and LUX Hotel Mont Monas, but the one with the best overall experience was the cheapest. Of course, its hardware facilities are not comparable to the first two. Compare. The hotel restaurant’s resident kittens are a big part of this. I hope the hotel can treat these kittens well.
Relax at the Hilton Mauritius Resort and Spa, try our non-motorized water sports, and unwind on the Indian Ocean beach. The hotel is an hour’s drive from Sir Ramgoolam International Airport and 15 minutes from Casela Nature Park. Unwind in one of four restaurants and three bars. Enjoy a romantic dinner at Coquillages Restaurant and Bar. beach restaurant and savor the catch of the day for lunch.
Keep active in the pool complex, work out in the fitness center, or enjoy a rally on the three floodlit tennis courts. Indulge yourself with a visit to The Spa Mauritius, inspired by the four elements fire, water, air, and earth. The spa offers a wide range of treatments to help you to feel revitalized. Drop the children off at the kids’ club, while you visit Mauritius attractions like Medine Sugar Estate or Casela Nature Park.
The hotel has 5 meeting rooms for 2 to 350 people, a business center and wireless internet access in all rooms and public areas. All Hilton Mauritius Resort and Spa rooms have high speed internet access. Step up from a Deluxe Room to a Junior Suite for a seating area with sofa.

The hotel was not what i expected from a 5 star. I believe that they are going to do renovations this year. I had half board and wanted to upgrade to all inclusive but they don’t offer all inclusive had I known this before, I wouldn’t have book at this hotel. So full board was and extra Rs8000 and you could only have 2 glasses of wine or two beers included. I can’t understand how the hotel can’t see that this encourages guests to purchase alcohol outside of the hotel. Anyways the bar staff were exceptional in making you feel welcome and really spoilt my daughter for her birthday. One in particular named Sahil. This guy is truly a diamond in the rough. Our time at the hotel was rainy weather but we still enjoyed it with people like Sahil around. Thank you!
Niched along the sheltered west coast of this tropical paradise, Sofitel Mauritius L'Impérial Resort & Spa enchants all who sojourn here. It is a magical place where lush gardens spill onto sugary sand and then the placid sea - a timeless retreat graced by French art de vivre and Mauritian vivacity. We invite you to escape and discover. Swim among colourful fish and coral reefs. Relax on a beach bed and watch the setting sun paint the sky. Join us on this unforgettable journey!

The hotel has a good environment and facilities, but the service details need to be improved. There is a hot water bottle, but there is a lot of scale inside. I don't dare to use it. I usually care about drinking water. There is a water quality test pen for Xiaomi. The hotel has about 200 impurities in tap water and 150 bottles of water. If you care about bringing a kettle. Breakfast and dinner are good, but the dinner men have to wear long pants, the first time I don’t know, hehe.

My second visit to Maradiva (rooms 208/209) since October 24th, this time with my friends. The peace and tranquility that this hotel offers is almost perfect. Thanks to the renovation, there are no more creaking floors in the villas. The newly laid stone-look tiles enhance the rooms. The rooms with pool and spacious terrace invite you to linger. Very well done! The room service was, as on my first visit, excellent! Shanenaz, the chambermaid, gave me a wonderful holiday for the second time. The attention to detail, loving conversations and always kind words round off the whole thing perfectly. She is not just a chambermaid, she sees and notices when something is wrong. It is nice to have such employees who really care about the guest with their heart, that deserves my respect! Without Shanenaz I would certainly not have come back here, as unfortunately a lot went wrong during my first stay. Dinner in the various restaurants (Japanese, Indian, on the beach or in the room, with the varied half-board menu is excellent and varied. If you don't find anything on the half-board menu, you can of course choose from the menu. Wine drinkers will definitely get their money's worth in this hotel - top class! There is a selection of the world's best wines from France, Italy, Africa and many more. Now to the SPA, we tested it extensively with various treatments and enjoyed it very much. The prices are very high but you get what you pay for. The team in the SPA always tries to give you wonderful hours of relaxation and peace. Keep it up! And last but not least, a great innovation is the butler service. Dinesh does an excellent job here and takes care of reservations in the various restaurants, bookings for the boathouse, for example, and much more... in my opinion with a lot of warmth and commitment. For my part, I can say: Dear team, apart from the breakfast service, the hotel is well run, family-run and you feel very well looked after here! We will definitely be back soon 😃 best regards from Alex, Angi & Philip

GGuest UserI took my mother on a vacation of a lifetime in May, and after several days of travel from the western US, we finally arrived at the Sands. We were picked up from the airport and the driver was very nice and got us to the hotel, and once we walked in, we were blown away. The reception area was beautiful and the views spectacular. We were shown our room and it was spacious, and clean with great views out the balcony. As we put our items away a gentleman came to give us a Covid screening. (we laughed because he was wearing a lab coat...) We relaxed by the pool, or played in the water and the staff was always making sure we had everything we needed. The food was very good, but some things were better than others. It was fun to try new dishes that are not part of the cuisine at home. On our first evening my mother wanted wine, and Rahja was very helpful and found her one. From that evening onward, he came to talk to her each meal and made her feel like the most valued visitor there. They laughed and joked a lot. He found her a few more bottles during our stay as well! He was by far her favorite staff member. Soudesh was of great assistance to us, booking off site adventures for us, and arranging transportation. He also asked the kitchen to make me some of their banana jam to take home, as I loved it so much. We used the spa as well, and my mother got the best massage, and mine was only mediocre. The beach at the Sands is also the best along that shoreline, so it's much easier to walk on than further down as it bites into your feet a bit. What made the Sands so nice is how warm and caring the staff was. They felt like family and they seemed to really care about you and really wishing you to have a great vacation. We stayed on the opposite shore after a trip to Reunion Island, and missed that, and wished we were back at the Sands. If I am able to return to Mauritius, I would definitely pick the Sands for my stay!
I don't know what to say, except THANK YOU to those who welcomed us with open arms in this modest residence but at the same time full of everything you need. The wifi worked perfectly (even if we didn't care much since we were on vacation and not for work), television worked but never watched, everything was always clean, breakfast not very variable but honestly had everything you needed to start the day with strength. The boy who welcomed us, remained in our hearts to the point that we were all sad to leave and he said goodbye to us from the taxi with infinite sweetness. I highly recommend it as a solution to be able to tour the island well and be independent. The pool was wonderful, but with that sea we never swam in it. The beach is a 10 minute walk away as is the supermarket.
GGuest UserI booked room for 2 adults and 1 kid 10 years old and right from day 1 hotel staff said kid can not stay in superior room.i was given room saying I will be told if any extra payment is required but no one told anything untill chkout when I was asked to pay MUR 3000 extra for kid stay while I did not ask for extra bed or brkfast for kid bcoz as per booking voucher same was not applicable.when I refused to make extra payment I was threatened of police action as if I am a thief.this is not the way customer should b treated.also seems there was communication gap on part of trip.com to pass on booking requirements.
SSweany8It's close to Dolphin Bay. Considering the time of rest, I took a night here. The water in the bathroom is not very good. There is no shower curtain in the shower. The water leaks out, and then there is no water outside. The room is flooded ...
Then there is the faucet, which is a bit malfunctioning ...
There is also a common problem of the hotel west of the hairball, ants are raging, and there are many heartfelt. On the chair, the cup, the table, but fortunately, there is no food in the bed, they do not go to bed
The waiter was very nice. Although he didn't speak the language, he tried his best to consider the customers. Thank you very much.
