This Pullman is the cleanest hotel of all the 5* resorts around Sanya Bay. We tried 5. If u care about western standards and pay attention to smaller things (leaking water, weird noises, furniture falling apart, decayed facilities, clean swimming pool etc etc, then trust me, you want to stay here, rather than the other resorts in the close proximity. It’s worth the couple extra $ you pay. And no, im not a paid shill, we are a couple who traveled to Sanya on our China trip. The next real 5* we saw is in the Yalong Bay area (we stayed there too - Sheraton and Marriott, each 2 nights)… But around Sanya, this is your best bet. Hope we helped. Have fun.

Grand Hyatt Sanya Haitang Bay Some few keys I’d like to pinpoint during my stay in this resort. We were staying for 5 nights, from June 1st to 8th. CLEANLINESS I’m very surprised with the cleanliness in the room and surrounding areas. Walking through the lobby, garden areas, pool areas and of course the room. You’ll be able to see gardeners, housekeepers, and cleaners doing everything to clean the their areas. This resort is spotless. Five stars for that. LOCATION Location is quite far from downtown but enough to go shopping around 68 market/mall. The hotel is connected to the mall where you can find and dine local restaurants. It is good when you’re trying to avoid the pricy meal at the resort. (Go local, get cheaper) And yes, location from the airport is about 35-45 minutes away. No traffic on the way. But try to avoid some local drivers who’s trying to give you a cheaper price to send you to the hotel. Always check the price on Didi or other app. When using those apps there will be no compromise. SERVICE Service. Well, overall it was great! Starting from reception, we were greeted during the arrival with the help of our luggage and stuff and guided us through the lobby. The receptionist attended us during check-in was very attentive and helpful (I didn’t get a chance to check her name). She was very helpful, and even gave us a tour through the map and sent us to the lift to our room. The young man and young lady at the housekeeping dept. was always ready to help us with what we needed in the room and prepared a honeymoon decoration in the room on the first day with complementary champagne and a fruit basket (Downside: some are telling to give them five stars) but I totally understand as it helps them as well. Restaurant staff are relatively friendly and helpful. Very welcoming when you coming for breakfast and guide us to our seats. BUT, you’ll need to come earlier than 9. Otherwise, you’ll be lining up outside the restaurant waiting for the vacant seat. AMENITIES Amenities are well cleaned and new. Showers and tub are quite new and well maintained. Other things in the resort are basically great. Swimming at the beach is on your own risk. No lifeguard assigned to watch as it is a public beach. Basically it’s not allowed to go swimming. Haitang bay resorts are all the same. If you’re looking for a resort where you can swim, you need to find somewhere else such as Yalong bay or Wuzhizhou Island. Overall stay was great. Just bear in mind, if you’re looking for a hotel or resort for fun this resort is not for you. But if you’re looking for a relaxation and calm holiday this resort is for you. There are only few entertainment and experience you can have in the resort such as live music during barbecue dinner at the Grand Cafe, dinner in the sky, and show outside the restaurant.

A very satisfying vacation journey. Before checking in, the butler Lulu contacted me in advance to confirm the arrival time at the hotel to ensure smooth check-in. Although there were not too many popular rooms recently, they tried their best to coordinate with me to the appropriate floor. The room is very clean, and the hotel environment is very good. The large swimming pool is very clean. Adjacent to the beach, breakfast was also very rich. After staying for two days, we promptly cleaned our room. It was very embarrassing that I lost my room card while dining at the beach restaurant at night. I sent a message to Lulu at the door and helped me get a new room card within 5 minutes. The efficiency was very fast and the process was very timely. Thank you very much to Lulu. Unfortunately, this trip was quite rushed and I didn't have a deeper experience! I hope to have more time to check in again next time! Overall, I am very satisfied. Recommended!

The hotel environment is very clean. When you order takeout, the guy at the front desk will deliver it to you personally. It is very safe to live here. The front desk was also very welcoming. When the water and paper in the room ran out, they replenished them, so I stayed another night. There is a shop selling green coconuts a few hundred meters away from the alley next to the hotel. They are also delicious. Ctrip is a rip-off, it takes advantage of regular customers, I suggest you use a different app to book a room😂😂

Sanya Conifer Hotel was THE BEST! The view from the rooftop bar and pool is insanely beautiful. We got upgrade to a sea view room on arrival. This was such a treat. The room was big and spacious with a bath tub on the balcony. They also gave complimentary fruit and water. The whole hotel was so clean. Buffet breakfast was included and had a very big Chinese and Western variety. Right infront of the hotel is a beach where you are allowed to swim. The sun set from the beach and the hotel is very nice. I would recommend this hotel! The staff also tried to assist and help as much as they could. One day it was raining and we got umbrellas to use. We also booked in at 12:00 pm and the staff was ready to assist us even at that time of the night.

The room I booked temporarily was close to the airport so I didn't have to rush to catch my flight in the morning. Facilities: The hotel is equipped with a swimming pool, gym, laundry room, large TV in the room with screen projection, smart toilet, wireless charging, and a good hair dryer. The room decoration smells very strong and I feel dizzy after staying there for a while. Environment: The lobby is beautiful, and the beach is very close just across the road. Service: The service staff were very good. There was a staff in the laundry room who helped bring in baskets for us to put our clothes in. There was no doorman at the door. Hygiene: The details are generally good. There are hairs on the corners of the floor. The toilet was full of flying insects (moths and midges) when we first moved in. When we flushed the toilet, all of them flew out in the room. It is recommended that the hotel disinfect the sewers. Restaurant: I don’t know why I didn’t have breakfast. I want to have a hotpot buffet in the evening. The so-called hotpot buffet is actually similar to malatang. I suggest changing the name. Only hotpot with a pot is called hotpot, right? When there are many people, the waiters are a little overwhelmed, but their attitude is very good. It is recommended to improve the bugs and decoration smell. If you want to be closer to the airport, it is recommended to stay here

The location is convenient for taxis in the city center. The hotel facilities are complete, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the stay is very comfortable. The room manager and the waiter are very warm and thoughtful, with a good service attitude, very kind, and the service is very meticulous. His breakfast is good, with many varieties, and he also gives two bathing tickets. I personally think it is very cost-effective and I will choose here next time.

The room has complete entertainment facilities, including a video game console and movies. It feels like a party, very suitable for friends to hang out. Seven or eight people are no problem. The upper bunk bed can be padded with another layer, it is a bit hard.
