We were very luck and week 9th October the weather was glorious. 28 and sunny every day. The hotel is in a VERY remote location and there is nothing round about it so we did have to pay to upgrade to AI which was €40 per person per day. The hotel complex is huge and is quite hilly but they do drive you around in little golf carts. There is a funicular which takes you up and down to the beach. It's a pebble beach so take sea shoes as its so difficult to walk on. The hotel, while lovely, was not 5*. The rooms are tired and didn't feel there was anything particularly special about them. We had earwigs in ours and had ro have it sprayed. Showers leak all over the floor and they were soaking! The food was not great, a lot of pork and beef and if there was chicken or turkey it was on the bone which isn't for me. I lived on salad. We did eat at the Al a CARTE and it was amazing. Beautiful setting to watch the sunset. The drinks are of good quality but service wasn't great and at times we had to wait up to 25 mins for a drink as only 1 bar staff at pool bar. Entertainment is absolutely dire! The worst I've ever had on holiday, with the exception of the opera singers. We had lots of early nights. This is my 3rd Atlantica hotel stay and this was the worst one I've stayed at. I understand greece is a different vibe but this was exceptionally quiet and given there is no where else to go I'd have expected better services and nightlife.

Very relaxing stay in this great hotel. Comfortable room, excellent food but the bonus was the staff, all who are charming, helpful and welcoming, from the cleaners and buggy drivers to the restaurant and bar staff. Would like to offer special thanks to the reception staff, who found someone on site to repair my glasses and also administered first aid after I fell over at a neighbouring restaurant. The pool area is comfortable but the sea, accessed by the funicular was warmer so we spent most of our time at charming bay, where again the staff were excellent. Hope to return.

Incredible time was had. From the welcome arrival with a glass of fizz, we knew it was going to be good. Staff were always attentive without overpowering. Our meals were varied and cooked to a high standard. The buggy service was great for tired legs. The beach attendant was thoughtful and made us feel relaxed and comfortable. Top marks to the evening bar staff especially Maria who made sure we were looked after.

We booked here wanting a week of doing nothing more than eating, drinking and swimming in the sea. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed. We used the funicular every day to get to and from the beach. Water lovely to swim in, Costas always there with a smile and a help to find sunbeds. The beach bar food was excellent and freshly cooked every day. We found the food and drink here excellent, the guy who was in charge of the restaurant seating was very professional and his staff always happy to help. The entertainment was fine for us, the 'opera' trio we really enjoyed. We took the bus from the hotel to Corfu town one day, otherwise happy to be in the hotel. The all inclusive package worked well for us as we like to try different cocktails and local spirits. The Expresso Martinis were well made and an after dinner treat for us. Lovely hotel if you just want to get away from it all, the staff were mostly super nice and helpful.

We visited for our honeymoon in July. Pre arrival we had great communication with the hotel - setting us up with a private transfer and letting them know we were on our honeymoon. We arrived just before dinner ended and we were shown to a table so we could get something to eat before the kitchen closed. We were then shown to our room via a golf buggy (the guys who drove these are amazingly friendly, efficient and always stop for you if there’s space on a buggy and you’re walking up the hills to the main building). We had paid for a room with a private pool which we were initially amazed by, but quickly realised we had an ant infestation due to a hole in our front door! To be fair to the hotel, we raised this issue that night and in the morning reception had arranged a new room for us, and this was much cleaner and I couldn’t fault how they handled the situation. The rooms were dated but the private pool was incredible and we used this instead of the main pool. The beach was a steep walk up/down, or you can get the lift, which was slow but an option. The beach had comfy loungers and a great bar. The staff here were very attentive and the lady at the bar quickly learnt our drink orders and would come and deliver them as soon as we’d sat down. The food here was much nicer than the options at the main restaurant so we ate here for lunch daily. The main restaurant still needed reservation bookings for dinner which was annoying and the options were limited outside of the salads (of which there was a great choice). I’m usually a fan of all inclusives and I know the limitations, but it was suprisingly limited for a 5* hotel. There were also hours inbetween lunch and dinner where there were no ‘all inclusive’ food options available - any food needed to be paid for which I’ve never experienced before. The outside dining area was lovely. We spent most of our evenings at the bar in the far corner overlooking the sea rather than the main bar with the entertainment. The barman at this bar was amazing - we went above and beyond and remembered our room number and drinks orders each evening. When it wasn’t busy we would chat and he was such an asset to the hotel. He was working alone and sometimes it was so busy I was amazed how calm he stayed making multiple drinks orders. Overall the staff made this hotel. the hotel itself is very dated and desperately needs an update. Pros - friendly staff (servers, reception, golf buggies, barman) - private pool - beach bar food - beautiful location and grounds Cons - dated decor - holes in doors that let ants in - lack of food options - no all inclusive food options between lunch and dinner

A quiet hotel built into the side of a cliff with fabulous views over the sea with entrancing sunsets. Large room with comfy bed and spacious balcony Free safe. Umbrellas supplied in room (because should it rain you will get wet trying to get anywhere) Plenty of wardrobe space and lots of coat hangers Nice shower which has a shelf for soap and shampoo (essential but so often missing) Small TV with poor reception. Few channels in English Free bottle of water everyday in room and free water at dinner (a really nice touch which other hotels should copy especially in hot climates) The resort is a large sprawling estate. There are two ways to get to the Reception, bar and Restaurant at the top (or three if you count climbing several flights of steps) Firstly there are the golf buggies. However the walkways are very narrow so they only pick you up from the road at the East side of the resort. Since the site is 150 to 200 metres wide it can mean a long walk to the road to get to a buggy, possibly in the rain. Secondly there is the funicular railway on the West side which goes from the beach at the bottom to the Reception at the very top. As with the buggies you may have a walk to get there. The funicular has several shortcomings - Firstly it is very slow. Secondly the programming seems rather suspect. If on level 5 you press to go up to the Restaurant the car comes from level 3 and once you are in it proceeds to go down to level 1 to pick people up from the beach. This is made worse by the limit of 8 passengers so often the carriage is full and cannot accept any more people. Thirdly if passengers do not close the door fully when they leave, the car is locked at that level. Lastly if it is raining the hotel switches the railway off. Food is a little disappointing for this standard of hotel. The other TUI Blue's we have been to before far outshine this offering. Nice breakfast selection but no attempt to keep the hot food warm. Eggs and bacon are fried and just put on a cold stand. Plates are not hot either. We were Half Board so did not sample the lunch but snacks at the bar are good at a reasonable price. Evening meal - starters are mainly salad or cheese or more salad. Little meat, eggs or fish. There is a dedicated Vegetarian and Vegan area which I did not sample. Good choice of main courses but as with breakfast there was no attempt to keep the food hot. Nice desert selection. Restaurant staff were excellent, Reception staff were friendly, but difficult to get the attention of the bar staff.

We have stayed in this stunning hotel twice now. The location is unique, set on a steep hill and surrounded by trees. With a beach at the bottom of the hill, accessible by cable car. The pool area is simply beautiful. Dining beside it in the evening with daily, glorious sunsets. The staff are first class and make the whole holiday hugely memorable. Outstanding food, something for all tastes and some great evening entertainment. If you’re looking for a relaxing break this is the place for you.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff and good food. Buffet style service not to everyone’s taste but fine with us. A system of golf caddy carts transports guests from rooms to the beach or to restaurants. Very efficient and easily summoned. Beach is stony and water shoes are essential for swimming.

This was our first time to Corfu and we loved the idea of an adult only retreat so we could focus on us. From the outset, as we were being booked in, everyone was offered a glass of champagne and the book in was seemless. Then we were directed to some staff who drove us to our room in electric golf bimuggies with our luggage. This hotel has this chauffer facility which is amazing as the hotel is built into the side of a very steep hill. The chauffeurs will take you to your room, or to the beach, and back again for free. We were a little disappointed with our room, we were expecting a bit more class being a 5 star adult only resort but it was scarcely fitted. The aircon didn't work either. The hotel sorted this quickly and moved is to another room which was better but the door kept sticking. We did expect more from the hotel in this regard. The room, a superior grade room, felt a bit 3 star hotel The food was good and all the staff were lovely Cats.... cats.... so Greece is well known for having lots of stray cats and at this hotel, we had cats visit us every single meal. They don't make a pest if themselves. We love cats and our hearts broke when we had to leave as we had gained the trust if some of the cats. We would give them meat from the hotel and even bought out own cat food for them The hotel offers evening entertainment and is a really peaceful location. We miss corfu
