Very well located close to thd main thoroughfares of El Nido but far enough to feel quiet and relaxing. Spectacular view of El Nido terrain at the rooftop restaurant/pool. "Comfortable Chic" is how I would describe it. Right next door to Friendz, if you can t stand your teenagers to close. They can have their own little vacation from you even if you're together. I just wished the wi-fi was a bit stronger, but hey - I came to El Nido to get my face off the phone. The staff was really accommodating in all aspects of our trips - from shuttle services to bike rentals to restaurant suggestions. They also had the Ferry service office at the mezzanine, so our ferry ride to Coron was ticketed on the spot. I would stay in this hotel again, fo sure.

The hotel is perfectly located in the center of El Nido near restorants and bars. The swimming pool and restaurant in the rooftop are great, delicious food. Our room was located in the 1st floor and we didn't liked it, because was next to the maintenance room, so was too noisy all day, in addition our window was next to the hall to this maintance room and looks horrible, very dark, also the air conditioner at the room sounds really hard, so wasn't very pleasant to sleep at all. Really friendly staff

The hotel is already a little shabby, the room was not very clean, the air conditioner blew directly on the bed, it was very cold, it was impossible without it The pool is also dirty, far from the beaches

The service is good (the food is very tasty and varied) but the room is not exactly ideal for the money.

We stayed in Cuna hotel for 6 nights. The rooms are a bit dated however you got there everything you need and the bed is really comfortable. The massive plus of this hotel is the terrace/bar /restaurant with overlooking El nido harbour. The best view you can possibly get over here. All staff members are very helpful and kind. Well done Cuna hotel ,can’t wait to visit you soon again.

The hotel is in a great location and looks very clean from the outside but actually has a bit of an ant problem and the staff are very unhelpful. There is a nice bar/restaurant on the roof which is a great spot to chill out, as well as the pool which is a decent size.

Ok - let’s start with the positives. The location is superb - just off the Main Street where you can book tours, multiple cash points and supermarkets and restaurants open all day and almost all night. Also - the rooftop views are amazing over the main El Nido bay. The rooftop swimming pool is also great and whilst small - nice and warm and again with stunning views. Drinks and food are well priced but I’d recommend walking into town for more variety. So now comes the downsides. The hotel is definitely not a 4 * on anyone’s rating system. The staff are ok but seem very inexperienced and become quickly flustered and their tone at times was terse. This was across almost all the staff we encountered in our 4 night stay except for the female security guards. Our room - on the 3rd floor was not clean. We actually found the underwear of a previously occupant under the bathroom counter screwed up. There was mould around the taps, the shower was very limited in its power. Some of the brickwork and tiling also looked unfinished and very rough to the touch (sharp in fact - as if it hadn’t been finished!). We had messaged the hotel months before our stay asking for a particular bed configuration but got no reply. When we asked for this and pointed out the message and booking details - they said we could have this but would have to pay an inflated premium. The breakfast had limited options. There was a single ‘choice’ of juice daily and it if wasn’t to your taste - tough. Telling my 9 year old daughter to try iced tea for breakfast didn’t go down well with me or her. Also - a really basic urn of coffee which was quite bland. Finally - the pool was really nice and a great view - however this also felt unfinished. Sat in the water on a ledge created for this purpose - the tiling under my knees was uneven and sharp to the point that it scratched my daughter’s legs on multiple occasions. Also - there was never anyone sat to hand out towels or collect towels despite being around the corner from the restaurant and bar which always had at least 4 or 5 staff. On one day - dirty used towels piled up from the start of the day to the evening….. At what 4 * hotel does this happen???

Amazing value for money, if you want a nice place to stay without breaking the bank, stay here. Very good breakfast (better than many other 4/5* hotels in manila) with a view to el nido Amazing localisation Good room (nice bed, nice shower, it's not a 5* room but does the job, we slept well) Nice, young staff, very helpful. Clean, nice pool with Amazing view Only minus would be that we stayed on the ground floor near their back door/staff room and the staff could get noisy sometimes but to be honest didn't spoil our experience in this hotel

Nestled at the eastern end of El Nido town, Cuna Hotel emerged as the highlight of my journey, offering an exceptional blend of comfort, convenience, and breathtaking views. This hotel, with its variety of room options, caters to diverse preferences and budgets, ensuring a comfortable stay for all its guests. My accommodation in the Budget twin room, while not overly spacious, was perfectly adequate for two people. The room featured a large bed with separate blankets, an arrangement that suits both couples and friends traveling together. Despite its compact size, the room's layout and amenities were well-thought-out, maximizing comfort and utility. The crown jewel of Cuna Hotel is undoubtedly its rooftop area on the 5th floor, which houses a restaurant and swimming pool. This space offers a magnificent vantage point to take in the stunning seascapes of El Nido's front beach. Dining here was a pleasure, with delicious food complementing the scenic backdrop. While the absence of a refrigerator in the room was a minor inconvenience, the overall value provided by the hotel made this an easy oversight to forgive. The hotel's strategic location, combined with its rooftop amenities, creates a compelling proposition for travelers seeking a memorable El Nido experience. In conclusion, Cuna Hotel stands out as a remarkable accommodation choice in El Nido, providing guests with the perfect mix of scenic beauty, strategic location, and thoughtful amenities. It's a place where every sunrise and sunset becomes a memorable event, making it a top recommendation for those visiting this beautiful part of the Philippines.

The staff in general is very nice, location is perfect for walking at night. The problem is that the cleaning service is very poor. They do not replenish towels, coffees, basic services such as shower gel, etc. The price of this hotel is extremely expensive for what it offers. In addition, the rooms are very humid, the air conditioning is too old and the room fills with insects. On the other hand, the water station went 5 days without being replaced in my room. I mean I had to go down to reception to fill the water bottle (since they don't replenish water in the rooms). I stayed 11 days in this hotel and the best thing that happened to me is not having spent time in the hotel, because they were pure bad experiences.

The location of the hotel is good, close to many activities, shops, etc. The room itself is a bit underwhelming, the hair dryer was falling off the wall - not safe. We had lots of mosquitos in the room throughout the 5 nights we were there. We also had personal belongings of ours that we never took out of the room go missing. We know exactly where we left them and on our return after being out all day they weren’t there anymore. This was raised with staff when we checked out but alas, they were long gone. My advice to future travellers is to be extra careful with your personal belongings if you are leaving anything in your room.

The hotel was clean, had an elevator, and a pool on the rooftop (great views). It is located in the heart of El Nido and there were paid parking lots nearby for about 200 PHP per day. Our deluxe room was very small with a lack of storage for our 5 days: we lived out of the suitcase. We were constantly shifting pile A to get to pile B of our belongings. It was like playing JENGA. The air conditioner was noisy but worked unlike the Wi-Fi. We visited the resort style hotels further out of town, they were much more expensive. Therefore, this hotel may be a happy compromise for some. It would be ok for a one or two night stay.
