18 Craigmillar Park exceeded our expectations. From the warm greeting on arrival by host Craig, we felt very much at home in the beautiful surrounds of the charming guest facility. The neutral tones of our room, the extra comfy bed and quality linen added to the experience. We enjoyed watching the passing traffic on the street below while relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing. The nearby bus was a short walk away, as was the recommended Indian restaurant, Haldi. On reflection, this was a great location and superb place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was clean, cozy and we had everything for a comfortable sleep. We received a warm welcome and useful information about public transport in the city and places to eat nearby. If we ever return to Edinburgh, this accommodation will definitely be our first choice.

My cousin and I had a fantastic 3 night stay at Craigmillar Guest House. Our room was fabulous, with a beautiful view over Arthur’s seat. The location was in easy reach of Edinburgh old town - a 10 minute bus ride (the bus stop is only a very short walk from Craigmillar Guest House). Craig was lovely, even offering us ice and gin glasses for our evening tipple! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Edinburgh.

This is a beautiful Edwardian house, comfortably modernised but retaining its early features. Our room was peaceful, private and well appointed. It was spotless and everything was to hand. Breakfast was not available due to a retirement, but we easily found cafes whilst walking into the city.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Craigmillar Park. We stayed two nights at the beginning of our trip and returned for a one night stay to catch a few additional attractions in Edinburgh. Both rooms were perfect for us and the beds were comfortable. It was a convenient location to walk to Old Town and Craig is the perfect host. We enjoyed relaxing in the bar/lounge. Craig was also a great resource for transportation needs and a wonderful restaurant recommendation (Salisbury Arms).

Great stay! Clean, comfortable, friendly service, just a few minutes away from the city centre and a shopping mall, host is always available, rephrasing: great value for money so nothing else to add besides: Bravo! Keep it up!! Highly recommended

I definitely recommend this very well kept hotel stay. Super clean and nicely decorated with a very warm welcoming host. He was always around & available to help out. A very nice touch was the small tray with tea & coffee,water and goodies. Location is about 10 minute away by bus to the center having a bus stop literally just outside the main door. A 10 minute walk would take you to a mall with a huge supermarket and other shops. Two thumbs up in my books.

Great host Quiet comfortable room Great location and easy access to the bus stop Great dining recommendations. There are stairs to the rooms but Craig helped us out. I would go back as it is away from the hustle and crowds but walkable to all the sights.

We were attending Edinburgh so my partner could perform in a choir and we could attend other events together. The house is well placed for numerous buses that go into town along the main road. Parking is in a nearby sidestreet and that was fine. The room we had was large and comfortable. There was no breakfast available while we were there, but that was not a major concern for us. A very enjoyable stay!!!
