Lovely hotel on the stunning Traunersee Great welcome, lovely room, and nice restaurant. The hotel has been recently renovated and so everything is very modern and smart. Some work is still going on but we experienced no disruption or problems . We arrived on a bicycle tour and they have very good secure storage for bikes .

The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and the hotel is very comfortable. The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre and is located in the heart of the city centre. The food is at the highest level of the excellent hotel the housemaster writes kitchen books. You can eat fish from the lake. The map is available in English. Most expensive breakfast with good house cakes. A little dream place with beautiful views of the small town of Gmunden but quietly. One of our best memories of Austria. It has 3 stars but worth four. I have stayed at the Golden Ship a few times now, and I have always enjoyed my time there. However, I was particularly looking forward to my visit in early September because I knew that the Hotel had undergone extensive improvements since I was last there, pre-Covid. It did not disappoint, as the place looks amazing now. All of the Staff that I had dealings with were super helpful, especially the lady in the breakfast room who was keen to ensure that I was well looked after, lovely soul (I’m sorry, I didn’t get her name). I didn’t partake of the Spa facilities nor Restaurant, so can’t comment on those, but the Breakfasts are legendary, with everything you could wish for. I also liked the lockers, where you can store your baggage if there’s time to kill between checking-out and leaving the area. There are also now 2 lifts which help with elevator congestion The proximity to the town centre and the Bus/Railway station, coupled with Austria’s efficient public transport network makes the Hotel Goldenes Schiff a fantastic choice for someone like myself who never hires a vehicle whilst overseas. Bad Ischl is a superb base for exploring the Salzkammergut region, and I wouldn’t hesitate to sort accommodation at this hotel when I’m next there.

A new fresh hotel. Great concept. Tasty food (dinner and breakfast). Great view over the lake from the room (6th floor - West side). Plenty of free parking spaces including a bunch of charging slots for electric cars. Motivated and exceptionally friendly staff. Quick Wi-Fi in all areas. I saw a LAN socket in the room (didn't try it though). Great gym. Sauna was open. Nearby tourist attractions are easily reached by car. We will definitely stay here again on future trips to Austria.

Me and my brother stayed at the end of June for 2 nights half board. The hotel itself smelt really clean and very fresh. The rooms were clean but much smaller than expected. We asked for two single beds but we received a double room. The food was pretty tasteless and not a very big variety. I did end up going hungry. There is a nice pathway from the garden into Bad Aussee. It is a very steep climb back up though. Our first night staying here at Midnight a coach load of kids turned up having a party in the car park. They were not staying at the hotel but kept us up till 2am. This was a very disturbed night. The staff were not very friendly. It did seem to be an inconvenience to be working for them. The sauna we didn’t bother using as you would have to wait 30 minutes for it to warm up. You still have to pay in your total which was not aware to us until paying in person even if you don’t wish to use it. If you are staying on one of the top floors it can be very difficult taking all your luggage upstairs as there is no lift. The toilets in our bedrooms didn’t flush properly and there was constant trickling sound of water all night. If you would like to play table pool it is 2 Euros a game. There are 2 rooms to eat Breakfast/Dinner. All the guests were shut out of the 2nd room with the big windows with the nice views. We weren’t sure why. Minimal parking as they like to leave the car park for the coaches who come in and out. We probably wouldn’t choose this hotel if we were staying in the area again. Please don’t compare this review to JUFA hotel Grundlsee. I would travel 5 miles just to stay in the hotel if visiting Bad Aussee.

The Landhaus zu Appesbach truly is a hidden jewel in Austria‘s Salzkammergut. The Duke of Windsor once stayed here for 5 weeks and found his ,,splendid isolation“. During our stay we stayed in the Windsor Suite offering ample of space with a combined living and sleeping room, a cabinet, a Roman bath & balcony as well as a terrace. All rooms and suites are individually designed with attention to detail. The country house’s restaurant offered an eccellent breakfast & dinner. The ladies and gentlemen in all departments did a good job in providing a personalized service. Overall an excellent experience. The White Horse Hotel on Lake Wolfgang is well-deserved and the hotel is almost an attraction. It is located in the heart of the town, next to the town’s church, the hotel’s swimming pool and Wolfgang Lake are close to each other and can be conveniently located at the lake. Swimming in the indoor and outdoor pools of the hotel. The hotel breakfast is not particularly rich, but the variety and taste are also quite satisfactory, but the dinner at the lake view restaurant is definitely worth a try, the taste is amazing, not the ordinary Michelin knife and fork. The only downside of the hotel is that the hot water temperature is not stable and it is easy to get cold and hot. After living, there is a question, how can this be just a four-star hotel?

The resort is very big, which is very suitable for many friends to travel together. There are 3 rooms upstairs that can accommodate 6 people, 3 bathrooms, and the living room and kitchen are all very large. We packed Chinese food from Salzburg in our 30s, and then cooked there. , very happy new year thirties
