Dunhuang is so fun! One ticket to Mingsha Mountain is good for three days. This is the most cost-effective scenic spot I have ever seen. This hotel is not in the downtown area. The worst time I lived in this trip to the northwest, it is worth my bad review: 1. Hot water is not available all day; 2. The hair dryer is going to the front desk to get it, the boss said that there is a memory to return it after use; 3. Hot water is not hot enough (other hotels are also solar energy, hot water is hot enough); 4. The toilet seat is broken, and the toilet has a smell; 5. Slippers provided are dirty and old; 6. The pillows are yellow; 7. No mineral water is provided

I have travelled a lot in China the last 5 years. This is probably one of the best hotels I have been. Clean, comfortable, close to everything, very nice staff. Have everything you need in the room. They leave you presents in the room, have all the free drinking water you need, free apples, just excellent welcome feeling. They go as far as pointing the shower head to the side everytime they clean the room so you don't get wet when you turn on the shower. More expensive and luxurios hotels have a lot to learn from these guys. Just excellent.

I went there during the Spring Festival. The front desk manager Xiao Wang provided great service. He added WeChat in advance and arranged to pick me up at the airport. The hotel is listed as a four-star hotel. The hardware is a bit simple and the elevator is a bit slow, but the hygiene is good, the linens are up to standard, and the shower water volume is particularly large. Breakfast was also ok. The decoration still has a bit of smell. My companions are quite sensitive and felt discomfort in their eyes and throats. Later we changed to a shady room where it was not so hot and the smell was not so obvious. Overall, this hotel is very cost-effective.

This was a great hotel for us! The room was quiet and comfortable. Even though they don’t have non-smoking rooms, they gave our room a treatment to remove any smoke odors, and we didn’t smell any smoke! However, sometimes we saw people smoking in the halls near the elevator doors which was unpleasant, or in the restaurant which was also unpleasant. But overall, it didn’t bother us. The breakfast was good except for the terrible coffee which did not even taste like coffee. The service is very good though, with friendly and kind staff. And they have very good clothes washing machines available to guests, for free. It was very helpful! I would stay here again.

She cleaned the room very clean and tidy every day, and put the items in the most convenient place for the guests. The most surprising thing was that she also prepared hot foot water, towels, mats, etc., so that we could enjoy the feast of Dunhuang culture while eliminating the fatigue of the journey. Metropark is a nice hotel located near a river and is relatively central to the city. A lovely staff member, 李雪 (Li Xue) helped me check in and she took me to my hotel room. She was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel room is very spacious, clean and quite luxurious. The hotel is within walking distance to the night market and the museum.
