There is free pick-up service, which is very considerate. I had a lot of fun, and I could go sandboarding as many times as I wanted, and there were also beach motorcycles, bonfire parties at night, and I could watch the sunrise and sunset. This is a super cost-effective experience!

很久沒住過這麼好的青旅了，超級喜歡！氛圍感巨好，不管白天晚上都會有來自五湖四海的小夥伴們湊在長桌旁吃吃喝喝聊聊，還可以在羣裏找出遊搭子，住了幾天幾乎每天都會解鎖1-2個新朋友，e人狂喜！i人朋友也可以很方便找到同行的小夥伴。
環境：
青旅就在馬路邊，非常好找，臨黨河且離書局步行百來米就到。雖然臨街但很安靜，晚上也不吵。出門直接攔車或滴滴響應都很快。旁邊一溜燒烤店，還有家味道不錯的早餐店。
設施：
拎包即可入住，free提供全部一次性用品（含馬桶墊和浴巾）。
前台兼大廳有長桌可以吃飯、聚會、自助泡茶、烤罐罐奶，還有零食櫃、飲水機。
【重點】每個房間都有獨立衞生間！還是乾濕分離的！這個真的超棒👍🏻
每張床上都有獨立的置物架和小櫃子，很方便；牆上有衣帽架可以直掛衣服，終於不用摺疊了。
服務：
老闆非常熱情好客，入住就獻上獨家吃喝攻略且實測過確實味道很不錯。一般都起早貪黑堅守崗位，偶爾摸魚，前台也有貼説明和聯繫電話，可以隨時call back～
房間雖然都在樓上，但衹要喊一聲，老闆立刻閃現幫忙搬行李，還給出借遮陽帽，開車帶着去吃飯。感覺除了老闆本人，啥都能借😃
衞生：很乾凈，四件套都是一客一換；日常也有專門的保潔阿姨進行打掃，有需要也可以隨時召喚。
PS個建議：衞生間的鏡子可以再裝個小燈，女孩子化粧會比較方便

I stayed at the hotel as a solo traveler during the low season. Upon arrival I found that I had an issue with the room that I had booked, but the staff was very professional and went above and beyond to help sort it out. The location is great, within walking distance to the railroad/bus/airport shuttle bus & night market. Every staff member that I interacted with, whether they spoke english fluently or through a translator, was very friendly, helpful & forthcoming with information. Likewise, the cleaning staff did a good job & was friendly. Highly recommended.

Who knows the family! This time I came to Dunhuang to travel, I could book the Guansha Pinyue Hotel. It was a big luck!
As soon as I entered the hotel, the warm atmosphere was directly full, and the fatigue disappeared in an instant, just like returning to my own home.

A very satisfactory stay. The location is very good. It is within ten minutes' walk from the middle gate of Mingsha Mountain. I just happened to go to the Crescent Moon Spring to climb the sand and watch the sunrise and sunset. You can also see Mingsha Mountain from the rooftop, and you can go up to the roof to watch the stars at night.
As soon as I arrived at the hotel, I immediately decided to stay another day. The decoration was very warm and the room felt relatively clean and large enough. The facilities are more like home, with everything you need. A humidifier and disposable towels are also provided. The shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and moisturizer are all very dry after use.
There is also a very spacious tatami in the room, which is very comfortable to sit and make tea. At the door of the room are some public areas where you can make tea, chat and eat.
The key point is that the lady at the front desk is very kind and answers all questions and needs honestly. If I have to say something negative, it is that there is no full-length mirror in the room and the toilet paper is of average quality.

The room facilities are also complete. I slept very comfortably. The experience is really good. It is a separate area. , it is very quiet at night, no motorcycles will pass by. GGuest UserThe last stop of Zhejiang's self-driving Northwest Great Ring Road, a very pleasant stay, convenient parking, clean and hygienic. It’s also convenient to walk to the middle gate of Mingsha Mountain. There are many special delicacies downstairs, and my wife and daughter were also very satisfied with the flying photos taken in the ”Nayu Flower Room” downstairs of the B&B. Bargaining cantaloupes on the roadside for four for ten yuan, super sweet!

It’s just a short taxi ride to town for dinner and you can even walk to crescent moon lake if you want! Though you shouldn’t in the hot weather.

- We could leave our luggages after check-out for free

- The room wasn't ready for check-in at 3:00pm, so the cleaning staff rushed the cleaning
- Not clean at all, hairs everywhere, crumbs on the floor, moldy joints (see pictures)
- The younger receptionist wasn't really polite, no greeting or anything.
- A desk but no chairs, a TV badly placed, and the room didn't look like the pictures on trip

The boss is super super nice! ! ! ! And the location of the hotel is very good. It is close to the Mogao Grottoes Digital Exhibition Hall, Crescent Lake, the museum, and the high-speed rail station. It is easy to get an online taxi. I highly recommend that special forces travel here! ! ! ! You can visit many attractions in one day! ! ! !

BBarryThe hostel is just down the canal a little from the centre of the city, an easy walk. The bus to and from the railway station is less than 500 metres away (ignore what Google maps tells you, they'll take you to a toilet in the wrong direction, use the Trip.com map, and click through to Google maps to get it right). Go a couple of km the other way and you're at the Dunhuang Museum. There is plenty of space downstairs to hang out, they sell a few cold drinks, and might even make coffee - they have the equipment). The rooms are on the second and third floor, no elevator. My room, #304, was quite rustic and not very big, but had a small table and adequate bed. The shower was just far enough away from the toilet that the floor there stayed sort of dry. Air con did struggle a bit with the 40 degree heat.

GGuest UserFrom the exterior the Dunhuang Jiayuan Hotel looks like a traditional Chinese hotel. But the room is furnished with all the modern trappings that are so essential to a weary traveler. The bedroom and attached bathroom are very clean, hot showers readily available and the bed comfortable.
The hotel is right next to the Shazhou night market and within walking distance to all the transportation hubs which makes visiting Dunhuang attractions easy.
And the service team was fantastic. One and all they were approachable and very helpful. The lovely lady who checked us in not only upgraded our room but she even managed to get us seats on a Western Dunhuang tour which was one of the highlights of our already amazing trip!
Another recommended local dishes for us to try and we were amused to see the name of one such restaurant on a road sign!
In short we love Dunhuang Jiayuan Hotel. Thank you lovely ladies for making our stay there a very satisfying one 👍

You get what you pay for, and at this price, I can accept the inconvenience of transportation.
We came from Taiwan and walked the silk road for 30 days. We can wash clothes here, but it is the old-fashioned washing and detaching washing machine. Fortunately, the weather is dry and can be dried in2-3 hours.

We stayed here for six nights, one day off, one day tour of the west line, one day tour of the east line, one day tour of Mogao Grottoes and Dunhuang Bookstore, three days tour of Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring (2 days to play sunset, 1 day to play sunrise, sunrise less people, encourage everyone to get up early experience better, although Crescent Town is expensive, But from breakfast to midnight), occasionally go to the city for a few days, the traffic is by taxi, there is no bus nearby, the nearest bus is in Crescent Spring, walking for about 15 minutes.
The room in the homestay is relatively simple, but there are things that should be there. The wifi network is quite fast, but my Taiwan network accepts the signal here. It may be a bit remote. The external network is more card, but most of them are still connected, but the external network is slow, so if you use the mainland app, I use the homestay wifi directly faster.
If you mind that the neighborhood is very desolate and there is nothing to eat, it is not suitable here, but the desolation represents a degree of quietness, no city noise.
Also, I have had a few calls for taxis that didn't go particularly well. Once I came back from the city at 20:00, I called the car several times and was cancelled by the driver. I finally called the car and knew that Crescent Spring was selling tickets at 20:30, so this time Crescent Spring will be traffic jam, taxis are unwilling to come to this location this time, so please miss this time to come back from the city. I have 2 nights to go to Crescent Spring, and I also called a car for a long time. Later, I and my daughter used to go back and forth. There should be many cars to call back, but we like to experience walking in the country.
On the road, I have the opportunity to see sheep eating grass on the side of the road, interacting with the cockroaches, and actually welcoming them. I am a little scared. The animals here are very close. When leaving Crescent Spring, there are many farmers on the roadside. The price is much cheaper than the city. If it weren’t for the suitcase, I really want to buy specials. Some prices are actually only for urban 1/10.
Going to Crescent Spring does not need to buy shoe covers at all. We didn't buy them yesterday or today. Wear sandals to go in. When we come back, we will be clean. The ticket can be played for three days. Also, don't buy sandboards. It can't slide at all. It's really the most pitted item. 21:30 Crescent Spring has a concert of 10,000 people, it depends on whether you like lively, I personally like quiet, I feel that every attraction in Dunhuang is too noisy, if you want to be quiet, there are many fewer people playing Mingsha Mountain in the morning, and it is cool. The cold sand is very comfortable, hot at night, and there are many people. Fortunately, the hotel is near Crescent Spring. We experienced crescent springs at different times.
I have seen Mogao Grottoes and Yulin Grottoes. I personally feel that if I can’t buy 238, it’s not worth seeing. It’s better to go to Yulin Grottoes. Then the manual guide of Yulin Grottoes is 550 yuan. The price is super hard. The children do not have half price. It’s very expensive. However, I think the guide of Yulin Grottoes is much better than the 238 yuan of Mogao Grottoes. It's worth buying hard. I bought a day trip far from Dunhuang (lucky to meet two junior high school teachers who are very interested in history, they bought each special exhibition in Mogao Grottoes, and spent more than 1,000), so I shared a car with two teachers on the east line (chartered 560 a day, the tickets are not counted, only see Xijin Tomb and Yulin Grottoes), The museum in the city, Mogao Grottoes, Crescent Spring, Dunhuang Book Bureau, just take a taxi. I arranged to live here for 7 days and 6 nights. I think the room is big enough and the traffic taxi is not expensive.
Dunhuang Book Bureau does not need money, I personally love it, very cultural place, and then there are many books in it to introduce Dunhuang art, there are children's picture books, there are adults to read, sit there to watch the afternoon, no one will drive you away, very leisurely, but some people only use it as a punch card point, Mainlanders prefer to go to a place just to take pictures and punch in, and leave in a hurry. I personally feel that it is a pity that such a place with cultural heritage is worth sitting down and studying these historical cultures. Of course, the premise is to really love history and culture. It will feel like this is a great place. If you don't like history, it may really only be a punch-in place.
