The hotel is an old hotel, clean and hygienic, with thoughtful service. Because we arrived on New Year's Eve, we upgraded the room type. Xiao Du at the front desk was very nice, and reminded us that there might be no restaurants open for dining during the New Year. Coming from the south, I felt it was too dry, so I added a humidifier. In short, it was great👍

I'm so glad I chose Xingzi Hotel when traveling to Dunhuang. The service surprised me in every way! I was a little reluctant to leave the hotel! The hotel is located in the center of Dunhuang, near the Flying Pipa Sculpture. It takes about four minutes to walk to the Shazhou Night Market, and less than two kilometers to the Dunhuang Museum and Dunhuang Bookstore. It only takes 5 yuan to take a taxi. There is a breakfast shop diagonally across the alley when you go out. You can eat something different every day. The meat wonton stew is highly recommended. There are Xiajia He Juice and Huyang Braised Cake Shop nearby, which are delicious and large in quantity. I go to the Shazhou Night Market almost every day. The Mobei grilled fish, beef hand pilaf, stir-fried golden potatoes, beef cakes with scallions and apricot skin tea in Shazhou Food Station are all delicious. The hotel service is super good. I called one day in advance to ask about the check-in time. Due to the flight delay, I didn't know if I could check in that night. I called the airport to ask what to do if I arrived late or couldn't arrive on the same day. The front desk patiently answered my questions. Two cups of yogurt are given when you check in. You need a hanger to dry your clothes and an iron to iron your clothes. You call the front desk and a waiter will arrive soon. After waiting for the chartered car in the lobby for a few minutes, the front desk immediately brought two cups of jasmine tea to look at us. Take your luggage and open the door for us. This is how you feel at home!

A family of three went out together and booked this hotel by chance. I thought I wouldn't have too high expectations during the peak tourist season. The price/performance ratio is really good. The room has a tatami and the bathroom is very clean. The waiters will greet guests warmly when they see them. There are many restaurants near the hotel where locals eat. They are cheap and delicious. There is a river opposite the hotel and the environment is also very good. It deserves a five-star rating!

We arrived in Dunhuang at night, and the pick-up service arranged by the hotel was very heartwarming. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. You can see the beautiful scenery of Mingsha Mountain in the distance outside the window. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, making you feel like spring breeze. The hotel breakfast is delicious. The restaurant is on the 9th floor and has a large viewing platform where you can enjoy the beautiful Dunhuang. The lobby on the first floor of the hotel also provides yogurt, mineral water and seasonal fruits. The hotel's service details are very attentive. The Dunhuang landmark Rebounding Pipa is right in front of the hotel. It is very close to the Dunhuang Shazhou Night Market. It is only a 5-minute walk away. It is convenient for eating and transportation. You can take the No. 3 bus at the door directly to Mingsha Mountain, and there are direct buses to the Mogao Grottoes. I had a comfortable stay and had a lot of fun during my trip to Dunhuang. I hope to come again if I have the opportunity.

We deliberately chose this relatively new hotel with a high rating. The taxi driver said that this hotel was built and renovated and took a long time to open for business. It was probably well ventilated and there was no odor at all. I would like to give a thumbs up to Xiao Wang and Xiao Huang at the front desk. They helped me book a room in advance and upgraded it to a twin room. They also turned on the cold air conditioner at night because the heating was too strong. He also helped me pick up the package and sent me some snacks. The dried apricots and red dates at the front desk taste very good and are better than those on the market. The beef noodle restaurant near the hotel recommended by the young lady was convenient for breakfast, so we went there early on the day we left for the west line.

I stayed at the hotel as a solo traveler during the low season. Upon arrival I found that I had an issue with the room that I had booked, but the staff was very professional and went above and beyond to help sort it out. The location is great, within walking distance to the railroad/bus/airport shuttle bus & night market. Every staff member that I interacted with, whether they spoke english fluently or through a translator, was very friendly, helpful & forthcoming with information. Likewise, the cleaning staff did a good job & was friendly. Highly recommended.

Strategically located to stage to places of interest: like Dunhuang spring crescent n also Mogao Grottoes. Within 20minutes. Very affordable and great value for money with all the helpful front staff to housekeeping. Just around the corner is the street food with lots of restaurants n the Shahzhou nite Market is just 15 minutes walk away. I highly recommend anyone wishing to come to Dunhuang seeking reasonable and quality accommodation to stay here.

It's not an exaggeration. To be honest, the attitude of the front desk receptionist and the cleaning lady was very good. The room was also very clean. It was very comfortable to stay with two children and a family of four 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Very good hotel. As soon as I arrived at the door, the lady at the front desk came out to help with the luggage. As soon as I entered the door, I was immediately served with scented tea. It tasted delicious and could make people relax and enter the holiday mode immediately. The decoration is my favorite style. They greeted me warmly when I went in and out, and answered all my questions. The service was very good! The hardware is also very new, without any decoration smell. The overall feeling is good. I have recommended it to my friends and they love it.

Location is very ideal, along a pleasant Main Street, around 5 to 8 mins walk to night market, yet away from the rowdiness of tourists. Just opposite there are convenience shops, a western bakery (Angelia) and stretch of small restaurants in an alley which are of good quality. Front desk services are fantastic especially helpful for foreigners ( though they don’t speak English- try to use e-translator), regarding local attractions and getting a cab for you if encounter difficulties. They are genuinely helpful to try to overcome your difficulties. Special mention on Ya Jin who even asked her regular taxi driver to accompany us to buy the Mogao Grottoes tickets and arranged for a long distance taxi trip to Liuyuan South Railway station. Wang Na also offered her WeChat contact number if we have difficulties coming back at night. Really warm hospitality. Even the hotel driver who fetched us from the airport was nice(complimentary service). The housekeepers are too hardworking. Only complain I have is the breakfast which served exactly the same thing every morning and of limited choices. Thus Angelia bakery just opposite was really a good alternative.
