Bur Dubai
Very nice hotel, the only thing I faced is I called room service 3 times to request for a dental kit on the third time received maybe as It was night time they didn't bring it as the third time I requested was in the morning. If your a light sleeper or can sleep if there is minimum sound as there is a disco or bar at the hotel.

They did not provide sufficient drinking water for a day. Also. their towels need to be newer, i.e. fresher. They don't provide electric sockets for international chargers. The pool was under maintenance and no compensation has been provided for that.

Just returned from another trip to DAM and once again it did not disappoint. I booked directly with the Jumeirah website this time, so thankfully no drama at checkout time this year. My previous reviews capture all that is good about this property. personally I don't go to DAM for the waterpark, however feedback from the kids was that it is looking very tired, that aside nothing much else to quibble. The front line staff at DAM are fantastic and that was the same again this year. from the staff taking care of the rooms, at the beach/poolside and all the restaurant staff. Special note to Mylene, Ashu and Neha at the Arboretum; we saw them every morning for breakfast for 2 weeks and some evenings when we went to the Arboretum for dinner. Neha; whether morning or evening, constantly smiling and never seemed to stop. Fantastic energy and enthusiasm for an extremely challenging job. Ashu who noticing that my wife was suffering from a cold offered and made her a hot drink with Ginger and Lemon at breakfast - it was unsolicited, he did not have to make the effort - however he did and these are the memories that make a stay special. I just hope DAM management recognise that it is the Neha', Mylene' and Ashu's that make their hotel special and they are rewarded for their amazing work.

Getting to and Around Dubai

Getting to and Around Dubai

Ready to dive into Dubai, the shimmering jewel of the United Arab Emirates? Whether you’re flying in, driving, or traveling by bus, getting to Dubai is convenient and straightforward.

If you’re flying, Dubai boasts two major airports: Dubai International Airport (DXB) and the newer Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC). Both airports are well-connected to the city, and your choice will depend on your airline and destination.

Dubai International Airport (DXB) is one of the busiest airports in the world and is located just 5 kilometers (3 miles) from the city center. With its state-of-the-art facilities, DXB is the main hub for Emirates Airlines and handles a wide range of international and domestic flights. To get to downtown Dubai, you can take the Metro Red Line directly from the airport, which is affordable and efficient. Alternatively, taxis and ride-hailing apps like Careem and Uber are readily available, offering a more direct and comfortable journey.

Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC), also known as Dubai World Central, is located about 37 kilometers (23 miles) southwest of downtown Dubai. While it primarily handles cargo and some low-cost carriers, DWC is growing as a passenger hub. From DWC, you can reach the city center via taxi, private car, or shuttle bus. While slightly farther than DXB, DWC offers a less crowded and seamless experience for travelers.

Here are two recommended hotels in Dubai that provide convenient airport transfer services:
