Best Two Star Hotels in Dortmund

So many refugees there. They were wierd like comming to the room very late and roaming around late. Could not sleep with them

The hotel is located in the centre of the city. The noise area but the weekend can pass. If you visit the city quickly is not bad for longer stays, I would like to value something else. Spacious and clean rooms even if old. Unfunctional few takes and lights. Clean but small bathroom. Modest prices and friendly staff

We chose this hotel as a low budget hotel close to the center. We were not disappointed. Small hotel, small but clean rooms. The reception, apart from the only man, speaks Polish, so you will get along even without the language. Small car park for approx. 10 cars, but if there are no spaces opposite, huge multi-storey car park for EUR 12 per day. Close to the center. Breakfast very modest without hot dishes, but you can eat. Recommend for people for a 1-2 day trip to explore Dortmund or for people coming to matches. Attention. In every hotel in Germany you will need to have the vaccination QR code or PCR test result to check in.

The arrival from Tyrol with cars was very difficult due to countless construction sites. With the train or aircraft, Dortmund is easy to reach. ( Time Price ) But well , that has nothing to do with my review about the hotel, yet it is noted . Inter Tabac , the largest trade fair worldwide with respect to tobacco , in Dortmund ? (😂😂🤦🏻🤦🏻) Arrived at the hotel, request for disabled parking places was rejected. So even if you have a disabled card, refrain from the hotel as the parking place is charged separately. We are on a great deal of roads in and around Europe and have been free of charge as invalids as law ( public parking areas ). ( was taken over by the “ businesses. Name service ) Price about ~10€ per day (lt. previous recessions free, if any measurement supplement ) Rich breakfast buffet ~11€ per pax per day. It was okay, only of rich could not be talk. 45 different teas , seam , 3 different sauce varieties , 2 cheese varieties , half soft cooked eggs , four different dressings , a bit of curry and tomatoes , multi and orange juice, and that was. !!!! Axo yeah café, there was also. In short, to our paid price, you also understand the distress. 2 people 3 nights € 1270 !!!!!! So love German citizens who is just as mourning as expensive Tyrol. In Tyrol you get a mind about this money. 4 Star Wellness Hotel with all pi pa po , not a hotel with a youth hostel character at 5 stars price . Personal only condition friendly as far as present . The rooms were clean . Summary / fool I can also do myself .

The staff was the nicest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked in the door. They also were able to recommend places to get any type of meal that we needed as well. The lady helped me alot when I was down from health. A nice business hotel in the heart of Dortmund. I have enjoyed my stay for 5 days.

Lovely hotel. Warm and comfortable, excellent breakfast buffet. Rooms are spotlessly clean and serviced every day, staff work so hard and are all very friendly. Would definitely stay here again, it has everything you need for a nice stay.

Good location but otherwise tired old hotel, long overdue complete refurbishment. Faded carpets and pictures in the halls. No fridge in standard rooms ”to save the planet,” but apparently, superior room occupants are not so concerned. No safe in rooms. Bathroom with green and gold coloured tiles from the 70's/80's had cracked floor tiles with blackened grout from years of water on the floor. Glasses on request, but they wouldn't deliver to room. Body cream on request was so old that it had liquefied. Rooms are only cleaned on request, and they don't tell you that on the reservation or at check-in. Then chambermaid knocked and opened door without waiting, despite ”DO NOT DISTURB” sign. Very poor breakfast with basic rolls and cheese/ham; allegedly broken toaster miraculously reappeared after two days of complaints but still had to ask for bread. You cannot economically repair an old toaster so it was obvious that the reason why it was withdrawn was to avoid having to put out bread. Scrambled eggs on request but no sausage (is this Germany??), bacon or beans. It's definitely not worth €14. Save money and go to one of the many coffee shops nearby. The so called ”cosy bar” is actually at reception and I never saw anyone there. In 4 nights I only saw 2 other guests at breakfast time, which was not a big surprise. This is a poor excuse for an Accor/ Mercure Hotel. There has to be better value in Dortmund.

Breakfast is very good. The chef orders it now: omelet, shredded cheese, vegetables, mushrooms, etc. It's great. Other kinds of bread, fresh juice coffee tea. Meat has sausages, bacon. Peach apple, cantaloupe, pineapple and other fruits, a kind of Danone fruit yoghurt. All in all, including early value

Very central to everything we needed. We took the breakfast option - variety of bread, hams. cheese and sausage. Scrambled and boiled eggs, fresh fruit, jams, yoghurt and cereals, juices and excellent coffee and other hot drinks. Glad we chose this option as there did not seem too many cafes offering breakfast nearby - only chains. The ladies who dealt with breakfast were lovely, really helpful and friendly. The only reason I've not given a 5 rating is that (for us) the bed was a little firm and the pillows were far too soft and on our last night (Saturday) the hotel must be near a nightclub as all we could hear was thumping music into the early hours (2am!) of the morning. Would just advise getting a room on the opposite side of the hotel.

Eine kleines Hotel mit besonderen Charme. Die Zimmer sind teils neu renoviert. Das Personal und die Besitzerin sind sehr charmant und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücks Gericht was täglich frei wählbar ist war wirklich SEHR lecker. Das Griechische Frühstück war einfach unvergesslich. Die westphalenhallen sind per Fussmarsch in 20 Minuten erreichbar.
