The owners were incredibly friendly and went to extraordinary lengths to ensure we were able to get food as the whole village was closed. They found a restaurant in a village 6 miles away and drove/collected all seven of us. Great breakfast lovely spot.

Every summer for fifteen years in a row we come as a family for vacations at the Hotel Cafe Steni: hospitality, kindness, coziness, clean rooms, fresh air, thermal water and reasonable prices are some of the priceless gifts we enjoy in this simple, spare and at the same time elegant hotel in the foothills of Mount Dirfys. The atmosphere of warmth and cordiality created by the owners of the hotel, the Gerakini-Pappa family, is due to the close relationship we have developed over the years both with them and with the people of the village. Steni: for our children it is their "village", for us it is a haven of relaxation, rest and inner regrouping. A paradise on earth a short distance from Athens, ideal to visit at any time of the year! The hotel was great, with a very clean room, great view, delicious breakfast and very kind staff. I highly recommend it and am thinking of visiting in winter as well. It is located in the best part of the village and the staff is happy to inform you about various activities in the area or places to visit.

Overrated due to the limited options in the area anyway. At the reception the employee / owner was not wearing a mask. The room was very small for a triple, there was no soundproofing at all to a level where you could hear conversations from the adjacent rooms. In our room, moreover, the heating stopped at some point early in the evening and did not turn on again. In the breakfast area, which also functions as a cafe, there is no check for Covid certificates, nor are the measures for catering (double mask of employees, distances) observed. At breakfast they did not inform about the extra charge for coffee, nor was there a price list, nor was French offered for free as usual, or at least they did not inform us about it. I wouldn't recommend it.

Helpful staff. Clean rooms and warm atmosphere. The cafe and restaurant are the best to enjoy your meal or coffee with a beautiful view. We will definitely visit again! The dog at the entrance is adorable🐾🥰

The hotel does not follow any rules against covid they do not check certificates, the breakfast area is closed with no window open and they do not check certificates so vaccinated and not seated together. Soundproofing is an unknown word, we heard all the love life of the neighbors as well as clearly all the speeches they had. The radiator during the night as well as in the morning they turned it off and there was no control for the air conditioner in the room and we woke up to snowmen in one place which is located on the mountain. At breakfast, which is well included in the price, they charge for the coffees without any information (I have never been to a hotel with breakfast that did not have at least one filter coffee). In general, I think they take advantage of the privilege of exclusivity they have as accommodation because it is the only large hotel in the area.
