The rooms are quite dated and there are no full length wardrobes. A lot of the food was extremely greasy and too salty. The pool and pool area was ideal and the bar staff were great. This hotel was fine for us as we mainly used it as a Base but it wasn't anything special

What a lovely hotel just returned from a 12 night stay. The hotel was very clean and rooms attended to daily. The staff and owners are lovely and will solve any problems or issues promptly and go out of their way to accommodate and make your holiday special. The entertainment was fabulous, not every night but on the nights there was it was quality. Throughly enjoyed and we will be back!

Just returned from Panormos Hotel Altinkum in the Didim area. We will not go again because the owners are watching all the time. There are notices everywhere not to bring food and drink into the hotel because of hygiene reasons, yet there were cats eating off the tables. Lots of cats and kittens walking around the dining area. The milk for the cereal was warm, because it was not refrigerated, the fruit juices were the same. There were lots of chipped crockery and cracked glasses. Most of the sun beds were wooden and close together. The cleaning staff were brilliant. The dining room staff were lazy. The hotel is pet friendly, which is not hygienic. We felt uncomfortable every time we walked in with a bag . Do yourselves a favour and go somewhere else.

Terrible expierience. We booked for 17 nights and left after 3. The couple in the room next door had a dog which barked none stop all night. The staff refused to check, saying the dog was outside and wouldn't come with me to witness the noise. On the 3rd night I knocked on the next room to be met by a Turkish gent who had a terrier type dog. I asked if he would stop it barking. He replied "no, go back to England ". I complained again to staff who this time said they couldn't do anything because they were a pet friendly hotel. I asked for another room to be told no. I asked what I could do and was told rather abruptly accept it or go somewhere else. Avoid at all costs

Just got back from yet another fantastic holiday at Panormos Hotel. The owners and staff are amazing, they really look after you and nothing is to much trouble. The BBQ night was great the food was amazing. The rooms are spotless the cleaners are great. Location is perfect as not right near the main strip. We had most meals at the hotel as the food was amazing, thanks to all the amazing staff x

Have been to the Panormos several times before but not for 9 years or so. Very little has changed although certain areas have been upgraded. The biggest USP about the hotel are the staff, they are absolutely brilliant and go out of their way to help and be friendly. All of the staff fit this category without exception. There are plenty of sunbeds but some guests decided to leave their towels on the bed 24/7, never taking them off, even if they were there for 3 or 4 weeks. Many of the guests are ‘returners’ who visit year after year. Due to this they know each other and form loud groups who ‘hog’ the pool, bar area and restaurant making it sometimes difficult to use these facilities. My BIG mistake was to book half board. The half board menu is abysmal with items including numerous pizzas, omelettes, burgers etc, not many Turkish dishes. The al la carte menu would have been far cheaper and there was definitely far more choice (including the opportunity to visit local restaurants). I did not think the standard of food was as good as on previous visits but this may have been due to being on the half board menu. No drink of any description was provided on the half board menu, not even a glass of water. The breakfasts are fine with quite a good choice including eggs any way you want cooked in front of you. Another problem was smoking in the restaurant with people continuously smoking and vaping on tables near others at all meal times. Whilst it is an open restaurant, this was most unpleasant. I'm sure there is a sign there for 'no smoking'. These annoyances aside, it is a cheap, cheerful hotel and well worth a visit.

We have just returned from a fantastic 2 week holiday in Panormos Hotel, very friendly staff (bar, waiting, reception, housekeeping) who cannot do enough for you and always with a smile. Freshly cooked breakfast every morning with turkish style too if you fancied a change. Great swimming pool with plenty of beds and lots of seats in the shade. Another great point about hotel, it makes you discover another side to Altinkum which you wouldnt know about due to the location, sits at the top of the boulevard. Lovely 20 min walk down to the front, taxi or dolmus recommended on walk back. Will defintely return June 2024. Gerry and Julie Room 412.

Fantastic hotel ,all staff from owners, bar staff and cleaners are very friendly and welcoming. Further away from main beach area which I did not mind as there is plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and not as pricey as front beach. The rooms are kept very clean ,with regular cleaning, sheet and towel changes. The rooms have good facilities, such as kettle and fridge, air con is £5.00 per night if wanted and a good price compared to some hotels. Hotel provides a plentiful fresh turkish breakfast and will cook you omlettes if wanted, the menu in day to purchase food is of a good choice and food is freshly food, tasty and to a high standard. Hotel has got a big seating area and nice sized pool. Loved this hotel so much that looking to book again.

Never been to a hotel that didn’t have a wardrobe tall enough to hang dresses! Wardrobe was only useful for shirts, tops, skirts & trousers it was so short. Signs everywhere saying no food/drink to be purchased outside and brought into hotel - Turkish Ministry of Health regulation they stated which is a load of rubbish! We smuggled in 5.25 litre bottles of water we paid 12 lira for rather than pay 20 lira for one of their 1.1/2 litre bottles, what a rip off! The supplied tea bags, coffee etc in the room, well sort of, two teabags on arrival which were never replenished in 14 days. We used our own but had to lock them in our case so they didn’t get confiscated. Our friends had an unopened packet of peanuts in amongst their clothes in their suitcase (lack of wardrobe/drawer space) they returned to their room one day to find their belongings in their case had been rifled through and the peanuts taken! Disgusting behaviour, you should feel you can leave your belongings safely in your rooms. Safes cost £2 per day and we’re located in reception, air conditioning £5 per day - daylight robbery. Would never return and would never recommend to anyone. It was a 30 MINUTE WALK TO THE BEACH so basically it’s a pool holiday hotel, we walk up the fells in the Lake District every day with the dog so believe me we are used to walking so when we say 30 minutes we mean 30 minutes for active walkers. It’s supposedly a 3* hotel with Jet2 we were B&B but breakfast was extremely limited unless you wanted to pay extra for bacon etc. Everything was about paying extra at this hotel, money grabbing at its best. No comparison to our previous holiday in Turkey, less than 12 months ago, which was 4* all inclusive with TUI and only cost £80 more. The one good thing was the staff in the reception, bar & restaurant, they were excellent, nothing was too much trouble.

my husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks, we loved it instantly and had a really good holiday, the menu for lunches and evening meals had a very wide range to choose from and every meal we had was very nice. The staff were lovely and the cleaning Lady kept our room nice and clean. Yes it is a good walk to the beach I think maybe 20minutes but you can always catch the bus which only costs 15 lira.....45p. Great stay

We were 2 couples and immediately found it to be a friendly welcoming hotel the staff were all great and we all agreed in no time at all that we will be returning it is an easy place to meet the other guests around the reasonably priced pool bar The food was good nice buffet breakfast and chef on hand to cook eggs anyway you like Also we ate there a few times snacks and evening meals all great with great service It is in a good place for nearby restaurants most of which will pick you up and take you back our favourite was called Caspers brilliant food The maid attended our rooms every single day and they were spotless lifts to all floors We did have to pay for air conditioning and safe but given what we paid it was still value for money It is a fair old hike to the seafront but taxis are a plenty
