Very familial guesthouse as close as it can be from Shaolin Monastery. The owners cook good food and can drive you everywhere for a price. The wife is a guide, so she's very resourceful about what to see and do in the area. The husband's brother is a Shaolin monk so you can speak about kung-fu with him. We had a little misunderstanding at the beginning as I had booked a room with a mountain view and the one prepared had no window to the outside but I was able to change rooms. With their help I was able to hike everywher on the beautiful mountains around as I was less interested in kung-fu than the scenery.

Very nice and helpful people! Enjoyed the home made dinner and breakfast very much. Being able to be transported is super convenient as well, they drove me back to Luoyang early in the morning 🙏🏼😊

It’s a great location. Just 3 min drive to Shaolin temple gate/ ticket office. Hosts are super friendly and helpful with services and transfers. Food was ok. A little pricy for simple dinner. But very tasty. It’s cold currently and room had heating. Big plus. Would totally recommend it for a home stay.

I stayed in a local house, the room was large and had everything I needed (the only thing missing was a view of the mountains, as indicated in the booking). The owner cooks very tasty, helps with buying tickets (the evening performance near Shaolin is wonderful), and can take you where you need to go without having to call a taxi. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a photo of the room, only the kettle) Therefore, I’m sending views nearby.

The room is clean and tidy, newly renovated, and the boss is also very hospitable. It is about 2 kilometers away from the Shaolin Temple scenic spot. The boss can pick you up and drop it off at the parking lot of the scenic spot. It is worth visiting again.

Breakfast is 10 yuan per person, which is OK, and a bowl of braised pork for dinner is 88 yuan. It is recommended that you check the price before confirming dinner with the store.

The place is wonderful: simple, cozy, convenient. Shaolin is 30 minutes away on foot. Very friendly family. The hostess helped with buying tickets for a music show and a cable car. The dinner was very tasty, the portions were very large. If you take a taxi from the station to the hotel, I recommend asking the driver to contact the owners to clarify the address, since our Baidu map did not immediately show the correct route.

The owner of the B&B was so welcoming and brought a lot of convenience to our trip. He picked us up at Shaolin Temple and helped us contact the car back to Luoyang. He patiently introduced many details to us. The food at home was also delicious. I will choose this place again when I come to Songshan next time and will recommend it to my friends.

Two 1.5-meter-long beds, no so-called smart toilet, no two bottles of purified water, no toilet paper, no shampoo. It costs 15 yuan to go to Shaolin Temple, which is more expensive than taking a taxi. I prefer hotels to famous hostels.
