I booked this place through ***********. It was a cancellable rate with no prepayment. Our plans changed soon after the booking and I cancelled the reservation well within the free cancellation period. Nonetheless, the place proceeded to charge my credit card nearly $500. When I contacted them, their very curt reply was: ‘you booked through Booking so deal with them.’ As it happens, the charge was not made by Booking but by the hotel directly, and I did already contact Booking, who confirmed that the charge by the hotel was not appropriate given the rate conditions I had. Now I have to get my money back. All fine but the hotel didn’t handle this correctly and I would never stay there for that reason. Many places have nice facilities and hospitality is much more about attitude than about whether your room has a fireplace or whatever.

Prima gelegen B&B, een prachtig huis, met mooie, propere kamers, een zeer lekker ontbijt, je krijgt goeie info, je voelt je welkom, aanrader voor het hele jaar door. Gratis parking voor de deur en op 5 minuutjes wandelen van strand en centrum van De Haan.

Een beleving om hier te logeren. De geschiedenis van dit verblijf tot in de details vertaald in een warm en gezellig verblijf. Rustig gelegen met de typische Engelse uitstraling met een prachtige kamer en heerlijk ontbijt. De ontvangst door de gastheer krijg je erbij.
