Datong Hualu·Yinghu Mansion

The few days I stayed in Datong were the most comfortable days I stayed in during my whole trip to Shanxi. For me, who is a germaphobe, the Hualu Hotel is completely up to standard. Everything from toiletries to in-house facilities are high-end, far beyond five-star. The only shortcoming is the breakfast, which needs to be improved~ Welcome fruits and desserts: delivered to the room every day

The check-in experience was particularly good. There was a dedicated butler service from the moment I checked in. Our whole family booked two rooms together, which happened to be arranged in the same independent courtyard. When we closed the courtyard door, we felt like we were at home, private and convenient. The housekeeper not only carefully answered various questions during the stay, but also provided many suggestions for tourist attractions, which was very thoughtful. The quality of the in-room dining dishes is also good, and the butler reserves a seat for breakfast in advance. The flower deer is really amazing, and it creates a courtyard in the building. Small courtyards of different styles, private spaces, large and comfortable spaces. Neither child wanted to leave. The facilities are complete and advanced, and the butler Xiao Hao treats us like a family member. The housekeeper on duty every day is also very considerate. I’m sorry that I didn’t remember her name😅 I would like to make a suggestion. The only drawback is the breakfast, which is not worthy of such a good hotel. The restaurant is small and not ready to accommodate so many guests. There are few varieties and the taste is average. If the breakfast could be improved, this hotel would be absolutely perfect but overpriced. I will choose this place again next time I have the opportunity to come to Datong. I hope that the breakfast will be available at that time.
