Hotels near Kirche Dallgow, Dallgow-Doberitz

I chose this hotel as I was touring Berlin with a friend for a few days, but he was arriving a couple of days later than me. This proved to be a great option in terms of budget, distance from the city centre and proximity to public transport. Once you come up the steps from the U-Bahn at Siemenssdamm, it’s immediately to your right. The member of staff in the reception was warm and friendly and spoke very good English as my German is not very good after studying it a little at school 25 years ago. The room was large, very clean, and well-equipped. It was too warm for me, and turning the air con down didn’t help, but the window opens very wide. The bathroom also had a bath which was a bonus. The bed is firm which I really enjoyed, but I appreciate that won’t be to everyone’s liking. I’m sure I requested the room not to be serviced but the maid had been in every day. I didn’t use the TV but the Wi-Fi was a little patchy and slow at times. There is plenty of plug sockets including one near the bed. There was a soft light on the floor lamp and a desk lamp which was great. I had the buffet breakfast one morning, which had a great and varied selection of hot and cold food, this included cereals, bread, cold meats, cheeses, eggs, sausages, fresh juice, tea, and coffee. There is a supermarket across the road open till 10 pm, which was handy to get food for dinner. Yeah, it is quiet, and felt safe. I couldn’t hear any noise from any adjacent rooms. If I’m visiting Berlin in the future on my own, I will probably stay here again.

One night was booked in Wyndham Garden Hennigsdorf, we look forward to it. Even when checking at 16:00 on 09.04.22 we had to pay the booked double room immediately. We had not yet seen it. When asked why I had to pay immediately, I received no acceptable explanation. Probably we were trusted with something bad. The way to room 220 was designed with black tape. This was totally fussing and dirty. The bathroom was a waste stick, which was totally roasting from below. Just a reverse. A ceiling was not properly covered. “Thanks to this,” I saw the cover below with huge dark spots - it was awful, just incredible what was offered to me as guest. I immediately registered at the reception. I wanted to show my defects to the staff member personally, he said to be alone and cannot go away. He gave me the key for the 216. Our night in this was not beautiful, because constantly heard the wind blow through the room. It's indescribable because it was all night. On the next day we were told that the laminate in the room was due to it. The stay was very terrible and we were so happy that we could leave the hotel again after one night. Our findings have been photographed! Maybe someone wants to see it from the management. It is unimaginable that this house has 4 stars (2019 - June 2022). I haven't found these stars! I'll never put a foot in this house again.

Cheap and nice accomodation, with good location and nice staff, absolutely worth it. We had clean, simple and comfortable room. You can get plenty of free prospects of the local sights and programmes. They surprised us with a welcome drink, and after check out, for only 1€/bag, we could leave there our luggages till the departure of our flight in the evening (other left luggage stores in the city are for 2,5€/ hour...).

The location and the hotel itself is great. Next time I will stay here. There were two points I would like to underline : first there was a small problem in the first room I got - as soon as I pointed it out, I got a new room immediately. A ver constructive way to deal with problems. I appreciate it. Second, the attitude of staff, they are helpful and explain you everything you ask them.

POSITIVES - Availability of a small kitchenette - Kitchen utensils, microwave, and crockery - Washroom was very clean. - Bed was decently comfortable to sleep on. - Cozy workplace and common areas near the lobby - Availability of ping-pong table and gym - Situated in a great neighborhood in Ku’damm NEGATIVES - Room can be a little more spacious - Temperatures can only be controlled by +/- 5C. - Lack of room service - Walls have become old and worn-out with lots of dents, scratches, and marks on them; needs renovation.

The style of this hotel was nice although wish we had booked booked a larger room as it was small and a bit cramped including the shower - had to stand in a particular position to avoid water all over the floor. There was a restaurant downstairs that served all day breakfast, was chi chi and nice although food we thought was average although it was packed every day meaning we would have had to wait a long time for a table and it took over the whole lobby meaning nowhere for residents to even sit. Limited restaurant and bar options nearby, wish we had booked another part of town. Hotel was though nicely styled and very good value for money.

We arrived to a friendly welcome at this lovely hotel . Excellent room, well appointed with a modern ensuite bathroom . Breakfast was a well laid out buffet with plenty of choice . Staff were once again very friendly and courteous with pots of tea or coffee served at the table . The hotel was well placed for sightseeing Berlin and we would thoroughly recommend it if that is the purpose of your visit . The foyer has a unique and fascinating light display which is a lovely feature to watch in the evening with a quiet drink . We understand that there is a pool and gym facility but unfortunately we didn't have time to visit that section of the hotel during our three night stay .
