Mike at the Hamilton Bar was the best! After 5 nights of staying at the hotel, I would purposely visit him at the bar because he was so nice and made the best espresso martinis. Great customer service from Mike and the restaurant staff!
In the heart of the historic Arts District, the twin towers of Fairmont Dallas add their 60s silhouette to the city skyline. They also act as bookends for a magnificent rooftop pool, and a garden where fresh ingredients are grown for farm-to-table Pyramid

Checked in on Friday 6/3 for a wedding and checked out Sunday 6/5. The lobby, bar, and banquet rooms were all very nice. Hotel staff was very friendly, cordial, and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool was great! Service at the wedding was top notch. The shower was severely lacking in water pressure, to the point where I felt like I was in a public gym, but I had no issue overlooking this. However, my overall very positive experience was greatly reduced with all 3 of my interactions with the onsite Valet. First encounter: Checking in, the wait for valet service was 25 min. Would have parked myself but there was no clear instructions on how to do so. Valet attendants showed no hustle (a lot of confusion, standing around, yelling, overall chaos) and then I even witnessed an attendant driving a $100K BMW bump into a parked pick up. This left me very unsettled leaving my car in their care. Nevertheless I did. 2) I called to have my car brought around Sat morning so I could retrieve an item I had left in the car. Attendant was somewhat rude and dismissive on the phone as well as in person. 3) After checking out, the valet process was, once again, pure chaos. I understand this is somewhat to be expected at 11AM on a Sunday. But again, there seemed to be no organization, no system, and just general disfunction with little care for the guest experience. Then, I witnessed an enraged guest screaming profanities because his car had been badly damaged while in the care of the valet service. There was easily $1,000 worth of body damage to his car. Finally after 30 min of waiting, my car was retrieved. No remorse or apology for the wait or overall experience. In general, very nice hotel and stay that was severely diminished by the valet experience. Bottom line, if you're going to force driving guests to pay $36 per night for a valet service, it needs to be far more efficient, friendly, and people need to feel comfortable leaving their vehicles.

I thought I researched but I was shocked by the 300$ deposit besides that everything was awesome the view the pool and ESPECIALLY the staff….I’ll be more prepared next time. 200 characters is a lot so I’m just gonna ramble now but seriously that infinity pool is awesome and the view from the roof is breathtaking

Great staff, clean rooms, but this concept is not for me. After we entered our room for the first time, we (my wife and I) knew this wasn't the hotel for us. No drawers, no closets. Se we spent the first night and went down the next morning to check out two days early. The desk staff was courteous, patient, and professional in explaining the concept behind the tru model. But we knew that it wasn't for us (baby boomers). The concept is great for millenials. I can't say enough about how great the staff was in turning what could have been a really negative experience into a positive learning experience for us. Next time, we'll choose a more traditional Hilton for our stay, right from the start.

The location was excellent for our purposes, about three minutes from the doctor my husband was seeing. Our room was missing a couple of light bulbs, one in the bath and one between the beds, but the front desk clerk said they were going to be updating all the rooms with new fixtures, furniture, etc, so for right now they were just making sure there was at least one light on in each spot. The bed was very comfortable, the tv was large. The breakfast, in a large area, had yogurts, cereals, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, sausages, bananas and apples, muffins, pancakes, and cinnamon rolls, along with juice, milk, and coffee. The lady in charge of breakfast kept all the selections replenished. There is an indoor pool, but we did not go to it so I cannot comment on it. We will definitely stay there again if we need to be in that location.

I don't like doing reviews because I don't want to leave complaints about so many hotels I stay at. But I have decided to leave a review on this one because of some of the other reviews complaining it was old and not worth the money. Y'all must be crazy. This hotel will rank as one of my favorite places to stay. The lobby is absolutely fabulous and makes a wonderful first impression when you walk in. I could stay here a week. Based on some of the other reviews, I expected an old Embassy Suites feel but it was not that at all. Fantastic interior, bathroom, bed, couch, extra blanket, everything. I did not get a chance to eat at the restaurant but I bet that is awesome as well. Best place I have stayed in years. And if you are going to the Galleria, the location is unbeatable.

Excellent
GGuest UserMy wife and I spent a great 4d/3n time here the weekend right before July 4th. It was an experience beyond expectations, the hotel is beautiful: nice, clean, modern, elegant. Wonderful staff at the Reception. It is also well located, maybe 10 min from downtown. From here, easy to get to Arboretum. Super pleasant experience, I will definitely consider it again if we go to Dallas.
GGuest UserGreat location right off the highway and by college campus/Bush library. We enjoyed the room and design as well as the bar/commons area (unfortunately did not bring swim suits for the indoor pool for the cold rainy day, would have been nice). Was a little weird to not have ice available on the floors and finally figured out we had to just grap qt bags out of the freezer in the lobby (no one mentioned that) but for all the fun aesthetics and location there wasnt much we could complain about (as long as you look around and find the best price as online it was coming up wildly different). Overall would definitely stay again and recommend.
GGuest UserFirst, our experience with this hotel was absolutely horrible. The key system in our door failed multiple times, causing numerous trips to get help to get into our room. Second, the tail lights of our vehicle were stolen over night. The initial manager we worked with was complete unhelpful and refused to help accessing the cameras to give more information to our insurance. Please explain how this happened when they have overnight security that patrols the parking lot?? The manager was dismissive and had the audacity to offer us dinner despite the amount of time and money this ordeal will put us out on. Instead of offering any sort of help he offered dinner. Dinner is offensive in the lieu of actual help and care. Despite all of this, when we spoke with Quin she was amazing. She was understanding, polite, and helped us that best she could. It is ONLY because of our amazing interaction with Quin that this hotel is getting the review we are giving it. Thank you Quin!
AAnonymous UserI was very well located, the perfect service was so q I was missed a phone in my room and I had already gone and I was called to q return to pick it up and I had neither noticed q I said q I was not worried q my phone was going to be kept waiting for me to return , cleaning was normal q the property was taking some repairs yet there was no noise and everything was quiet and for the night there was a security in the parking
GGuest UserNot overwhelmingly friendly. Long check in with nobody else there. No luggage cart. Had to bring everything in because the reviews warn of car robberies. No warm breakfast. Password written wrong on card key holder. Ugh. The little things. I called the front desk for the password. LYT57. See photo.
GGuest UserGreat customer service, Didnt like downstairs but clerk changed rooms with no problem the special request was not listed on our resevation at the hotel. Food was good.
Ddirk411Overall, the price is very high, there is an indoor swimming pool, the water temperature is comfortable, the breakfast type is good in the same level, the yogurt is very good, the traffic is very convenient.

XXanGood value. Convenient for meetings at the Hilton Anatole, which is a 5 minute walk away.
Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was as expected.
All in all a convenient and perfectly adequate place to sleep whilst working.
SScottAimeeWhen we first arrived, we were in a second floor room. I asked for a ground floor room because both my friend and I are disabled veterans. No problem, we were given a ground floor room. When we initially went into the room, it was quite hot in there. In an attempt to cool the room down, I found that the controls on the air conditioner turned all the way around, leaving me not really knowing where on the dial did it corollate with the cool setting. While sitting on the bed, I noticed the ceiling and the very evident water damage on the ceiling. There were large areas on the ceiling that showed where large areas were covered by sheetrock or wood, then covered with paint. There were other areas that showed long sections that had water damage that had not been fixed, too. The only amenity was the ice bucket. All in all, the bed was decently comfortable and got a fair night’s sleep, but the pillows were less than useful. The only thing that irritated me was the fact that housekeeping knocked on the door before 1100 am. We were already taking our belongings to the truck and when we tried to get back into the room to get the rest of our belongings, the card key no longer worked! I had to walk from one end of the motel to the other end to get back to the office; they had to reset the key I guess. Walking that distance was very difficult physically for me and I feel that would not have been necessary if the key continued to be effective in unlocking the door. I think next time I will stay somewhere else.
