The hotel is very popular with influencers and day-trippers, which is not surprising given the beautiful views overlooking the lake. It was low season and we were lucky to be upgraded to a bigger room with a nice view of the lake. It was an adventure for us to be picked up and dropped off by the hotel in a mini-buggy. Special thanks to 小桃 who helped to check us in and very kindly helped us with transport recommendations for our onward journey. There are some really good cafes (山茧）and restaurants (银米) just a few minutes walk from the hotel, but it will take at least 15 minutes to walk to the main street of the ancient town itself.

A hotel with excellent sea views, full of surprises. I was very satisfied with my stay. Unfortunately, I only stayed for one night. I should come here next time to enjoy the sunset. The hotel facilities and services are very good. The housekeeper drove us to and from the hotel several times, and the car drove very smoothly. The bed in the room is quite large and very comfortable. It comes with matching moisturizer. The hair dryer is from Dyson. The pajamas are also very soft. Delicious flower cakes were also given as a gift upon departure. The hotel also offers free photo appointments. The photographer was a very enthusiastic young man. He took some amazing photos of us feeding seagulls at the beach and the baby riding a rocking horse. The rice noodles for breakfast were the best we had in Yunnan.

I am very satisfied with the room and service. Especially the butler is very considerate. The service is five-star. The hotel is in a great location and has great productions. I also saw that Hunan TV recorded a variety show here. It was a great experience. I will stay here again next time I come.

It rained the next day when we went. It was really beautiful on the first day, but on the second day The second day as a sea view room was a bit unsuitable on a rainy day. The dining area downstairs was more popular, but not much was taken upstairs. The weather was bad and the technology was limited and I couldn’t take pictures. The place was at the end. If I wanted to go out to play, I could walk to a taxi. It takes about ten minutes to get back and forth from the place. It would be best if you could provide shuttle bus service (or maybe this service is already available but I don’t have the nerve to ask?). However, their overall service is okay. They help with luggage during check-in and check-out. They help with storage when picking up and dropping off, and they also give small gifts when leaving.
