Coming from Singapore, we appreciated that halal food was relatively easy to find in the area, though the best options were closer to the ancient city. Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for stunning views, a clean and comfortable stay, and attentive service. Just keep in mind the slightly longer travel time to the ancient city if you’re planning frequent trips there.

I stayed in three B&Bs in Dali, and this one had the best service. I wanted to stay in a better place because I was traveling with my children. They all cost 700 to 800 yuan, but this one was the best. They would call in advance to confirm the itinerary and whether we needed to be picked up at the airport. We were sent to the airport, and they put our luggage in the car in advance to wait for us because we didn't have enough time. The environment and sanitation were excellent. The rice noodles for breakfast were so delicious that the children finished them. It was right by the Erhai Lake, but this B&B was in the city, much more convenient than the previous one, and there was a housekeeper group, which was very thoughtful.
