Very good service in all areas! The ladies at the reception are very friendly and helpful. Eating in the restaurant is very delicious. Waiting times are short. Beautiful is the outer area directly on the sea. For celebrations, the exclusive boat house is especially recommended.

If you want to see the true colors of the hotel's management, read the REPLY TO below which is a reply that the management posted as a reply to the below opinion there. TL;TR: We had a terrible experience. AC doesn't work properly (the lowest temperature setting was 24 and the hotel couldn't do anything about that). Not worth the money. In case of any problems, do not count on reasonable compensation if they offer you compensation at all. Management is rude and receptionists will misinform you if that suits the hotel's interest. The hotel is far from anything, including reliable public transport. --------------------------------------- OPINION: 1. Our AC did not work (the lowest setting was 24C) - they offered to open a window... to the noisy highway next door; as compensation, we were offered 2 drinks! 2. Do not trust their Clean Promise policy! The cleaning Service does not do their job properly. We think some places are left uncleaned: there were breadcrumbs on the table left and the sink also had a few dirt marks left. 3. The place is far from anything, including reliable busses that occasionally do not arrive at all after 8 PM and you need to take a 20-25 mins walk from the train station. 4. Finally, you continue misleading people. Yes, you immediately offered ”2 drinks on the house” but it clearly(!) was not enough for the problems we met, but... If did not understand the difference between a refund and compensation. After huge problems, you offered us a room change... on the very last night (you expected us to move to another room with all our things after 8 PM when we returned to the hotel?). And, you never offered ”the total amount back” but just one night when we expected 2 nights for the inconvenience caused. Lisa, you clearly do not know how to speak and how to treat a client in a respectable way when a problem appears, so they recommend you later. We will never want to have anything to do with not just your hotel but the whole brand of Holiday Inn Express.

The room is very narrow and was sold as double room. Due to fair, you could not book both days together on the website but had to do it separately. Unfortunately, it was blocked out of your room on the second day. We are just happy that it was not late at night where no one sat at the reception. That would have been yet. The room is so narrow that you couldn't pass each other on the second. If someone was in the bathroom or the door was standing up, you couldn't reach the door or the closet. You couldn't even hang out the usual paintings that you don't want to be disturbed. So is already an obstacle for couples. For two people there was a (!!!) bottle of water and also just one glass. The purpose behind it is not understandable to us. For a day as an interim stop is certainly sufficient, but not suitable for a longer holiday from our point of view. Rooms in themselves are clean and clean. Reception is over-required and no real help. When a rasier was forgotten at home, you referred to the net and another business. If it had actually been expected that a hotel would have provided a basic equipment for emergencies. We were at least used to this. Price/performance is certainly absolutely OK outside fair times. Parking is available in the garage and costs € 7.50, but we have parked in the side streets. There is something to run, but that didn't matter to us. We can't say anything about breakfast because we didn't take anything.

Nice stay. Good access with car and good connection to the city center. U-bahn is next to the hotel. Rooms are good. Bunk beds could have higher guardrails. Breakfast is good and you have a lot to choose from. Juice glasses could be bigger (now only 1 dcl). Parking is a bit expensive (18€/day).

Wir sind schon ein paar mal in der Ampervilla gewesen. Der Aufenthalt war wie immer super. Das Personal ist sehr um die Gäste bemüht. Unser Freund hatte sich nicht ganz wohl gefühlt, und bestelle das Essen auf's Zimmer. Dabei wurde ihm sogar einen riesigen Eisbeutel auf's Zimmer gebracht.

Zuerst war ich schockiert und hatte schon gar keine Lust mehr, dort hinzureisen. Ich hatte vorab eine Frage und rief im Hotel direkt an. Am Telefon war ein sehr unfreundlicher Mitarbeiter, der nicht wirklich hilfreich war und sich meinem Problem auch nicht annahm. Naja, dennoch hingefahren. Vor Ort hatte ich absolutes Glück, der unfreundliche Mitarbeiter vom Telefon scheint während meines Aufenthaltes frei gehabt zu haben oder war an der Front nicht sichtbar. Welch eine Freude! Alle Mitarbeiter:innen, auf die wir getroffen sind, waren super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war für den Preis top. Natürlich sollte man hier keinen Caviar und Champagner erwarten, auch Lachs und solche Dinge fehlten. Dafür gab es lecker Eier, Bacon, Brot und Brötchen und was man von salzig bis süß eben so braucht. Auch verschiedene Säfte gab es. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und für den Preis völlig ok. Es lässt sich nun darüber streiten, ob man diese offenen Bäder bzw. Glaswände zum Bett hin braucht oder nicht. Hier war es wenigsten eine Milchglasscheibe. Wenn man mit einem Kumpel das Zimmer teilt wäre etwas Privatsphäre fürs Bad besser. Als Pärchen mag es ja ok sein. Aber gut, wir sind damit zurecht gekommen. Die Lage vom Hotel ist OK. Man hat direkt eine Straßenbahnhaltestelle vor der Tür und ist in wenigen Minuten an der Münchner Freiheit, hier gibt es viele Umstiegsmöglichkeiten zu Bussen und Bahnen. Ich würde das Hotel wieder buchen.

I booked this hostel last minute, and I've never stayed in a hostel before, so I can't really compare it to other places. Despite reading reviews on Hostelworld about the single rooms being hot, I have no complaints about the room. I stayed in Munich when the temperature had a low of 20 Celcius and a high of 30. I had no issues with the room. I did have a large fan on in the room, which kept it cool. My room also had its own balcony and I sat outside to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Perfect for those who love their own space or couple. My only gripe was that the WiFi was slow at times, so I couldn't even search the website to test internet speed. I had a data roaming plan, so this wasn't that big of an issue. I would stay here again if I'm back in Munich. A Lidl at the end of the street and the Train station is a 2-minute walk away. It couldn't get better.

Very clean and free parking. Very convenient for one or two nights. Rooms not super spacious but more than enough for the purpose. Definitely a recommendation with perfect value for money!

Hotel is located in the industrial area of ​​Unterföhring. Easy to reach by car from the A9. Edeka 50 meters, S-Bahn within walking distance, bus line passes the hotel. Quiet, no street noise. Rooftop bar in summer when the weather is nice with a great view. Hotel clean and modern furnishings. Large, walk-in shower. Air conditioning in the rooms. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating, sometimes go the extra mile. Restaurant in the hotel (Thai) very good. Great breakfast. Overall highly recommended. Use the car park at the hotel, there is a restricted parking ban all around and this is only indicated at the roundabout in the entrance to the industrial area. No signs in extra parking bays, very misleading as you don't notice the sign in the driveway.
