For me it was one of the most beautiful hotels due to its quietness, wonderful food and super friendly staff. I felt at home.

전망만 높아서 좋은 호텔 이였어요 왜 별4개인지는 모르겠지만 주변에 식당등 갈수있는곳이 없어서 호텔 레스토랑에서 식사했는데 맛있어요

The room is ok as long as you don’t get the carpal -50/50 on that. Breakfast is simply badly run … no bowls - seems you are expected to use you tea cups , spoons : use you tea spoon. Omelette - good luck waiting for the part time omeletm lady. Not offered coffee or tea - but the machine is broken - want a juice : good luck that is broken too. Vera on reception was fabulous - wasted - lovely helpful woman who goes the extra mile.

Disappointed. Truly sad with this experience. The hotel was super cold. The inside pool heating was not working. Manager proposed return of second night and then said he didn’t proposed anything. We ended up paying another hotel on the second night and never got the return for this hotel.

First impression you get is good, at check-in. They offer welcome drink with a smile. Then they show the have 3 kind of rooms, beeing one of those types with balcony - shared with other 3 rooms!!! Let us not forget it is rated as 5 stars hotel. On the way to the rooms, corridor wise, the floor was dirty - everyday! Room wise, the phone never worked, although we complained; the safe never worked, although we complained. Under the beds full with There were no amenities at all in the bathroom. Shower gel and shampoo set in the bath, where broken - no one fixed it. The indoor swimming pool water was dirty with cloudy. Staff was educated and nice, but for 175€/night its way to expensive, does not deliver and its never a 5 stars. I do not recomendo it. It was a very bad experience.

Disappointing, the room maintenance can be improved, phone didn't work even after complaining. The air conditioned is set on full cooling setting making the ambiance very cold everywhere in the hotel even when it isn't needed like the restaurant and breakfast. The indoor swimming spa pool was dirty with cloudy water and couldn't use it, why are babies allowed with diapers? The breakfast was OK but not confortable with the icy atmosphere.

Strong connection with the Douro Wine since the hotel is located in the heart of Douro Region Outstanding Service and very efficient staff 5 o'clock tea & cakes in the balcony every day Stuning sights SPA (indoor pool, turkish bath and sauna) open 24h and with a warm temperature Very Confortable Room, excellent bed & Pillow Divino Restaurant deserves a Michelin star classification In Resume: Excellent value for money

Although my husband and I stayed overnight at HW Douro Spa for pleasure, we recognized it as a perfect venue for a business seminar. The facilities are luxurious and tasteful. The bedrooms and view are enough to stay for a week! It is not directly on the Douro, but nearby for those wanting to travel. However, the price value is exceptional and worth the short diversion.

wow, great find!! had amazing stay. rooms are modern, views are to die. Sara at the reception made reservations at restaurants and wine visits perfect. would come back for sure. I recommend at least two nights stay here to really appreciate the region.
