PERFECT location with easy access to the Metro station and a short ride into the city. I was booking for a Chinese couple travelling to Europe for their very first time and despite their limited English ability, they were looked after very well during their stay. My email to the hotel was answered quickly and although the hotel has no Chinese speaking staff available, they were comfortable throughout their stay.
Breakfast spread was not as extensive as the couple had experienced in their travels around Asia so this was the only lesser comment that they had but overall, the hotel is highly recommended.

We travelled as a family of 4, with two young kids. We arrived quite late at night but there were no issues with accessing the apartment. It's about a 10 minute walk with suitcases etc from the train/Metro station and the escalators weren't working so getting the suitcases down the escalators required a little effort. Once in the apartment we found it clean and tidy. The kitchenette is just that! There is no oven or toaster just a hob and an all singing and dancing microwave but we managed to cook our meals well enough. The kitchen was well equipped and the dishwasher was a big bonus. It was quite hot in Paris for our trip and the lack of air conditioning meant we had to keep the fan on whilst in the apartment to stay at comfortable temperature and to allow the children to get to sleep. The pull out bed in the lounge, under the sofa had slats missing so you had to be careful where you put pressure on it. The staff on reception were friendly and helpful when needed, especially the young man on our arrival who gave us some bottles of refrigerated juice. The location of the apartment was ideal with a comfortable walk to public transport to go sightseeing. Overall it met our needs and we were generally happy with it.
A bubble of serenity, the 4-star Mercure Paris La Défense contrasts with the sparkling atmosphere of the business district. Near Les 4 Temps shopping mall, relax in this urban oasis. After a day of shopping, meetings or seminars in one of our meeting rooms, celebrate your success at the rooftop bar with panoramic view of Paris. Hungry? Enjoy seasonal cuisine at Vingko, a gourmet restaurant in La Défense.

The hotel is comfortable and the service is good, but it is still a bit far from the station, and it is a bit hard to walk to the hotel with luggage.
Not many choices for breakfast, but the taste is ok!
The hotel room can see the Eiffel Tower!

1) We had trouble with our flight into Paris and were at serious risk of losing an entire day. We had paid in full several months in advance, yet when we sent the hotel a message informing them of our difficulties and anticipated late arrival their response was if we failed to checkin by noon the next day we would lose the reservation. This in spite of completely paying in advance for a week's stay and completing online checkin. What's the purpose of advanced checkin and paying in advance? 2) The hot water failed for a day. Hotels should have onsite engineering or have on contract engineering staff for repairs. 3) The rooms are not cleaned by housekeeping. Now I can understand certain health precautions limiting the cleaning, perhaps every second day. But this isn't the case, the hotel will arrange housekeeping, for an 18 euro fee per cleaning. However, the room does come with a vaccum cleaner and fresh towels are available upon request at the front desk. 4) The rooms are clean, but the hallway rugs are filthy. Otherwise, the establishment is a convenient 15 minute walk to La Defense Esplanade Metro (slightly less convent to La Defense RER). For shopping here is a Intermarche literally next door. It is in a quiet location.
The hotel in the shape of a boat hull, is a genuine technical prowess, designed by Vasconi Architects, and a superb decor signed by Jean-Philippe Nuel, with spectacular panoramic views of Paris. Situated on the Esplanade de La Défense, centred between two main avenues leading from the Arc-de-Triomphe at the Champs-Elysees to the Arche de la Defense on the other end, the new-built property is set in front of Takis water mirror fountains and offers direct underground connection to the city centre. The underground station “Esplanade de La Défense” is located directly opposite the hotel.
The hotel offers 369 rooms distributed on 18 floors. Most guest rooms and suites offer splendid panoramic views of the city and its key landmarks. Connecting rooms can be booked.
Skyline Paris Lounge & Bar on the top floor offering breathtaking panoramic views of Paris and cocktails.
850 square metres of flexible event space including a Grand Ballroom hosting events for up to 400 people

The room facilities are very good, the price-performance ratio is really good, the transportation is also very convenient, and it is recommended overall. There are two bad points. First, there is a cocktail party on the top floor at night, which is more open and gives people a feeling of chaos. Second, pay attention to the charges. They charged us 40 euros more for breakfast. They said they would refund us, but they never did. It was the platform that refunded us. You have to read all the bills carefully. There was also an episode in the middle. I thought my things were lost in the elevator. I went to the front desk to ask. The big brother at the front desk looked at me with a very playful smile and said that he didn't know, they didn't see it, and I didn't understand what they meant.

My husband and I stayed at Citadines (La Defense, Courbevoie) for three nights the last week of August 2023. From the moment that we stepped into the hotel, we were warmly greeted by friendly receoptionist Paola. In light of the usual 'customer service' that we experience in Paris, we were pleasantly surprised by Paola's gracious, professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic attitude. If we had any questions, Paola was able to promptly and knowledgeably answer them. If we had any request to make the room more comfortable, Paola was able to address it punctually and to our satisfaction. Paola really made the experience five star from the very beginning. We are somewhat sensitive to noise, so Paola made sure that our room was facing away from the traffic towards the inside of la Defense. This made for a wonderful stay during which we could really relax and sleep well. Paola's good customer service must have been contagious, as the other staff members manning the reception desk were also very pleasant. The room itself was small but comfortable - Citadines has the benefit of an induction stove, new beds / mattresses, and a decently sized shower. This was everything that we needed for our three night stay, and we were very happy overall. There are enough little cupboards located around the room to ensure that clothes can be stored, but nothing too fancy...do not bring a big suitcase unless you upgrade to a bigger room! The entrance to Citadines is somewhat tricky to find as it is necessary to walk up the stairs in front of another hotel called Fraser Suites, along an upper esplanade, and then down some stairs around the back of Fraser Suites (which is the hotel adjoined on to Citadines). The entrance to Citadines is not very grand. Normally, the taxi will drop passengers off in front of Fraser Suites as it is too difficult to find the entrance to Citadines. From the front of Fraser Suites, the entrance to Citadines is not more than a 5 minute walk. Close by Citadines, there is a metro station accessing line 1, which will take passengers straight into the centre of Paris - very convenient. There are no remarkable restaurants in la Defense, so I would recommend that guests of Citadines travel one metro stop into Neuilly-sur-Seine to try one of the top quality restaurants located on rue de Longchamps. If you are looking for a simple yet efficient short term stay (not more than 5 days), definitely try Citadines. The location makes it very convenient to get into Paris quickly without the hassle or price of actually having a hotel in Paris. We did not try the breakfast at Citadines as we just bought our own from bakeries in Neuilly.

We couldn't recommend it more! We're a family of four and stayed in one of their suites... just amazing in terms of amenities, room was good sized and beds super-comfortable! The location was perfect, in the heart of La Défense, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby. The Metro station is a part of the Paris Metro Line 1 (Yellow Line) was also just a short walk away, making it easy to get around Paris. The staff at Fraser Suites were incredibly friendly and helpful. Sara, in particular, went above and beyond to make our stay special. We'll definitely be back next year...
Sought after by business guests for its 500 m² of meeting rooms and a location in the heart of the business district, Novotel Paris La Défense is also ideal for families. We offer 4-person rooms, several play areas and a restaurant with child-friendly options. Our hotel in La Défense also invites you to take time out for yourself - on the patio, in the bar with views of the Seine or in the wellness space featuring a gym, yoga classes and massages upon request.

We visited this hotel with a school trip. When we arrived (at the 10:00pm) they asked us to give 50€/person in order not to make noise and our teachers had to give 2.000€ out of nowhere… Many of our classmates had problems with their beds (broken etc) and the reception was not helpful. On top of that, at breakfast they separated us from the rest of the hotel like we are inferior of them. The breakfast was very poor and the place very dirty as well. Would not recommend for somebody who has to stay more than one night.

Best place to stay in Paris!
First of all, the hotel staff was always, 24h/7days a week nice and kind. We felt that we’ll always get any help and all answers.
Secondly, the room was very, extremely clean. The room has everything you need, including kitchen, dishwashing machine, microwave, oven, fridge, and so on. Also, all the kitchen utensils was new or almost new, it’s equipped with 3 pots different sizes, really good (with new coating) pan good size, and so on.
Thirdly, the location is really good - you are near grocery stores, bakeries, subway station. We needed to get via taxi from the hotel through all Paris to get to the train, and we never saw traffic jam at 7:00-7:30, which we were afraid of.
And I’d like to keep your attention that on reception the hotel has a cafe, where you can order pizza or pasta or coffee at low price (in Paris’ cafes it cost 2x then in hotel) and cafe is open 24/7.
Our accommodation was really awesome, we definitely will stay there every time we’ll be in Paris.
The Ibis Paris La Defense Courbevoie hotel is located on the outskirts of Paris, Neuilly-sur-Seine, and La Defense. The famous sites of Paris such as the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame, Stade de France, and the Parc des Princes are easily accessible. The hotel is perfect for business trips with its Wojo coworking area or for leisure. 129 air-conditioned rooms, some with views of the River Seine and Eiffel Tower, bar open 24 hours and private parking.

This will be a full experience review incl. transportation to and from the hotel and surrounding amenities. Taking a train from CDG to La Defense was fairly easy to decipher. We elected to walk to the hotel since we didn’t have a ton of luggage and it took about 45 minutes. Alternatively you can try taking a bud or the L train which can reduce your walking time to about 15 minutes. An Uber is about 20€. It is my first time staying at an Ibis hotel. Entry was a bit confusing given that there are two similarly named hotels next to each other. When we were greeted, it was done quickly and courteously. We did not opt for the available breakfast nor did we ever step foot in the attached restaurant as there are plenty of great places around. The reception area is small but still fairly trendy with modern style furnishings and work areas. Like the other French hotels we stayed at we were only given 1 access card. A second would have been nice. The room was small as most in Paris are, but you didn’t come to Paris to sit in your room. There was a small TV, an enclosed bathroom with a small toilet and small stand up shower. The hot water NEVER stopped and the water pressure was great. They cleaned and restocked the bathroom daily so you don’t have to worry about that. The bed was comfortable enough and can fit 2-3 people comfortably. There was also a small TV. Unfortunately we had a view of the apartments behind the hotel and not of the river. Would have been nice for or honeymoon but can’t complain too much. The walls are admittedly fairly thin as we couldn’t always hear what our neighbours were up to but sometimes you could hear louder TVs or the washrooms being used. Access to all our daily activities was easy. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby just across the bridge on the island. Keep in mind restaurants work a little differently in Paris, tips are usually included in the price of the meal and they close in between lunch and dinner. Dinner service starts at 7pm. Smoker? Enjoy cigars here and there? There’s a Tobacco shop on the island as well open from 8am-8pm. Further past the island there is a beautiful rich neighbourhood you can walk through with plenty of shops and greenery. La defense is essentially a main station and you can reach most if not all of the activities of the city from there. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again given it’s fair price, accessible location and quieter area.

Very Good
HH9127VVjennifermMy daughter and I were part of a tour with her high school art program, so I did not have high expectations for our hotel. However, I was very—VERY—pleasantly surprised with Tribe. It’s not in the heart of Paris, but it’s very close to the La Defense metro stop and a quick jaunt to the center of the city. The decor is a little wild, with interesting prints, but in a fun and funky way, and the atmosphere of the lobby was great, whether at breakfast or at the bar after a long day of art museums. The rooms were pretty small, as would be expected in France, but we still had plenty of room. The one thing I didn’t like was not having a proper dresser and having to keep everything in a suitcase under the bed for over a week. The bathrooms were bright, spacious and well designed. I was sad that there wasn’t a good way to get to the Seine for a walk or run, but on the other hand there was a grocery right across the street, so that was much appreciated. The staff were very professional and pleasant, and the breakfast was excellent; we still reminisce about the eggs and the pain au chocolat.
GGuest UserA peer-free welcome! a quality staff, so the boss himself at work, an adjunct present for over twenty years, it is very solid, they know everything about the region, they are really available and sympathetic, the really bravo. The rooms are very comfortable, but there is nothing to say.
I’ve visited countries all across the world and I’ve never seen such a service like this they only care about money although we staying a long time in the hotel , the female receptionist are great but there is mahbod at the reception he is very arrogant , irate and unprofessional he refused to change the category of the room, even though we were willing to pay extra. We booked a big room for 140 euros and we wanted to exchange it for two smaller rooms that’s worth 70 euro each which make 140 euro but he refused to and proceeded to get irritated and disrespectful and he doesn’t speak fluent English which makes the communication even harder
For a budget hotel, this exceeded my expectations. It's in a nice and quiet area, which meant we slept very well. It's 20 minute walk to the metro line 1, which goes to the centre of Paris in under 30 minutes. Our room was fairly spacious, and the bed pretty comfortable. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. We didn't have the breakfast, and there was no coffee and tea in the room, but there were vending machines in the foyer and supermarkets nearby. Overall, good value for money, and one of the better hotels I've stayed in for the price.
This place is in a quite neighborhood, with parks, shops, restaurants all within walkable distance. Take a stroll downhill as River Seine is close by, you could even see Eiffel Tower from afar. Right opposite to the hotel - is a play area for kids, a carousel, water fountains, benches, etc where you can relax. I had a pleasant experience at the reception. I remember Milos who is very courteous and helped us as I checked-out early. And would return to collect my shipment delivered during the day.
GGuest UserThe location is good, the environment is good, not too far from the subway station, taxis can drive to the entrance of the hotel, the room is not big, but relatively clean, no toothbrushes and slippers.
