In fact, as we were checking out, the management noticed us struggling with our luggage, and dropped everything to help us down the stairs-she was dressed up for a function and he was wearing a suit-but they didn't hesitate! The place is so beautiful that during our week there, they hosted several meetings and conferences, a photo shoot, and a wedding. Mr. Abou is a safe and effective driver, with a nice car that he keeps clean and has working a/c. Additionally, he is friendly and personable and has deep roots in the region. He knows his way around and knows the best places to see. To sum it up-come to Benin Republic and stay at the Benin Royal Hotel!
