Neptuno Suites

Firstly, I have no idea why anyone would score this 'hotel' with 4 stars! the place is filthy, stinks of cigarette smoke, fried eggs and some sort of nasty cleaning product, it's horrendous! The rooms are in desperate need of updating, paint is literally falling off of the walls! and the bathroom! well, it is a health hazard! some sort of dodgy water heater on the wall which is falling apart and doesn't supply much hot water. Tiles hanging from the walls or botched together with large amounts of grout causing rough edges. Brown water coming from the sink taps, shower prone to flooding. and to top it off, bathroom 'towels' only changed twice per week - these aren't actually bath sized towels either, they are the size of hand towels and they come complete with added 'bleach stains'! The pool - whilst we were there, some guests actually reserved 'their' sunbeds for the entire week! They would leave their towels on the beds overnight with the beds folded down! really!? I do understand this madness, as the rest of the sunbeds are either broken or extremely dirty. Lots of smokers around the pool which made the area very unpleasant. Metal steps to access the pool which wouldn't be ideal if you are infirm. Whilst we were there the breakfast room was having a new tiled floor laid, the noise of drilling, the smell of cigarette smoke, the dirty sunbeds made the pool area a no go for us, we opted for the beach which was wonderful! Room Keys - now this is the scary bit! You are given 2 metal keys attached to a plastic tab - one of the keys is for your room door, (now wait for this) the other key is for the main door to the hotel (which is also the Fire Door). You need this key to unlock the main door on leaving the hotel and to re-enter the hotel (no staff on site over night) hence the reason for the entry key! What really worried me was the fear of a fire! If at 3 in the morning a fire was to break out, the last thing you would be looking for would be your room and exit keys??? how would you escape the hotel? Surely this has to be a Health and Safety issue? Overall the Hotel is extremely disappointing and unsatisfactory, although these are the good points- Fantastic location. Wonderful staff who are extremely helpful and friendly, Maria is fantastic - I actually felt sorry for her working in such a horrible hotel! She deserves so much more, her talents are wasted working here! The reception area is clean and modern. All of the above issues have been communicated to On The Beach who we booked the holiday with. We have been offered compensation of £150 for the inconvenience caused to us. I just wish that people were more honest with their Tripadvisor Reviews! This place is the pits! Sorry Neptuno Suites, the worst hotel I have EVER stayed in!

The reception is bright. Marie on reception was friendly and welcoming. We had a ground floor room with pool and a fabulous sea view. The bedroom was a good size with 2 large single beds which were comfortable with a duvet. There was only one pillow but Marie got us another one. The lounge, kitchen diner was large but the sofa wasn't very comfortable. The kitchen had a microwave, kettle, toaster and a fridge freezer, which is all we needed. The aircon is only in the lounge but worked well. The bathroom was small which would have been fine if there was a shelf for all your toiletries. The shower wasn't very powerful and no extractor fan. There is a hairdryer, but there is no where to do your hair and make-up, but there is a full-length mirror in the lounge. The main problem is that the bathroom and bedroom windows open on to a corridor and the corridor lights are left on all night so the rooms are quite bright at night. You can also hear the people in reception. Maybe the corridors should have motion detection Our balcony was big and it would have been nice to have 2 sunbeds as well as the table and 2 chairs. There is also a wall airer. It's a shame that they don't have steps from the balcony to the pool area. The pool area was spotless and cleaned daily. Lots of sunbeds parasols with plenty of space between them. Three double bed type loungers which were really comfortable. Pool was quite small and cold. The whole week we were here no one saved a sunbed and sunbeds were available at any time. Close to loads of shops and restaurants but was nice and quiet.

We arrived today after booking an ocean view appartment at extra cost. This was booked for a special occasion and we were very much looking forward to sitting on the balcony and looking out to the sea and pool. Instead we have the view of a wall as seen in the photo. This is far less of a view than even the pictures advertised of the lateral sea view. We complained and were told that nothing can be done as they are full. The receptionist was very nice and friendly and explained that she was already informed by management that if we were not happy we should be informed that the room has been categorised as sea view. They are very aware of this issue but continue to allocate and charge for this room as an ocean view. It is a real shame as the apartments are in.a lovely location and we would have been extremely happy if we had got what we paid for.

A little hidden gem , love these appartments , so comfortable and clean good Wi-Fi, air con, pool area fabulous staff so friendly nothing any trouble, so central to all the amenities, been coming here many times and can’t wait to return missing it already returned home this Thursday 18.7.24

I stayed here with my husband for 4 nights self-catering. The apartment was spotless and very spacious.If you're looking for peace and quiet around the pool area, I can highly recommend it here. It's in a very good location close to shops/bars/restraunts and the sea. Considering how close you are to the bars, the hotel itself is peaceful and quiet. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming. We had a sea view apartment - I have included photos of the sea view - just perfect.

Just returned from a weeks stay at these apartments. First & Foremost it’s all about the Location,situated on Jabilo beach so the views from your windows are of the beach/sea We stayed in room 310 which was of good standard and fulfilled all our needs, The apartment consisted of a small kitchenette,tv,bathroom included shower and hairdryer their is a safe in the bedroom which was €2.50 a day or €15 for the week plus a €10 refundable deposit The pool area though not the biggest was clean and tidy & we had no problem getting a sun lounger even though there are signs stating sun beds Can’t be reserved unfortunately guests ignored these rules. You can pay for breakfast which is only continental €15pp (expensive) Maria on reception is always smiling and very good at welcoming you. Reception is open 8am until 8pm Overall would recommend and definitely would return
