Perfect for a short stay !

The service attitude is extremely bad, I will never go to this place again

Firstly, how anybody can be negative and leave poor feedback for this place is beyond me. It's £50 a night! it's cheaper than a Travelodge back home! Some people look for the cheapest accommodation and then expect the earth ... I booked here for a cheap last minute break with my 2 teenage daughters, first impressions were good, polite staff on front desk and quick check-in and within 10mins we were in our room. I'd requested a pool side room a few weeks prior so we could spend all day by the pool and the girls could go back and forth the room for drinks and snacks .... Room 166, ground floor, right next to the pool and the pool bar, perfect! The only reservation we had was a previous review saying the pool was so cold it was 'unusable' ... Don't listen to that, it's exactly the same as any other pool at any hotel, it's cold at first naturally but you warm up after a few minutes. Yes, the rooms are dated but again, what do you expect for £50-£60 a night, it's hardly a deal breaker. The hotel itself is superb, the location, the grounds, the atmosphere, the pool area, all just a lovely space. The pool bar is great, 3 euro a pint! Danny and his family are welcoming and integrate themselves with the customers, they even had a guy playing the guitar and getting everyone singing one day! Lots of space around the pool, no sunbed fights, every person I spoke to or heard talking was British which was nice also. The grounds are spotless, they are constantly jet washing and performing maintenance around the hotel, you can safely walk barefoot throughout the hotel it's that clean. I saw a previous comment about it being 'too far' a walk from the music square .... Its 10mins cutting diagonally through the streets and a taxi is £4 ‍♂️ these are the people that would complain if they were too close also! Hand on heart I'd say this is the best and most relaxing 3 star hotel we've stayed in and we'll definitely be coming back next year!

Very disappointed with our stay here. Bad experience for us. This is not a 3 star hotel. The hotel needs a deep clean. Including the apartments. Outside our apartment the surrounding pool area was not cleaned once in our weeks stay. The same pigeon poo was there the whole stay. A hairband was left and a glass was left the whole week, without being cleared away. Very poor hygiene here. If you have an autoimmune disorder think twice about going here. The floors in the apartment keep you're flipflops on, filthy floors. We had twin beds one with double bed sheets, stains and torn. If you want a towel change? Go to reception and change them yourself. Ask for toilet paper while you're there too, they only had one roll left. The whole pool area is filthy. See a few cockroaches, ants. Why because no proper hygiene measures are in place here, outside the apartment areas. Bins full, emptied as and when. Be careful around the perimeters of the hotel, out and about the streets there are major roadworks going on, looks like utility works major. Wasn't told about them from Jet2. I actually fell and grazed my knee. Sun loungers aren't let loose until 9.30am sometimes later, always late unlocking them, what a joke. Good Points. Sun loungers are good. Apartment patio chairs nice and comfy. Onsite shop is excellent, they have everything, really nice staff. Onsite pool bar really nice staff. We are not leaving a clean home to go to a dirty hotel. In over 50 years of travelling I have never experienced dirt on this level. Soap, water, discenfectant costs very little. Very surprised this is a 3 star hotel.

The Hesperian Bristol Playa is a nice apartment complex , clean and well maintained. There’s enough sun beds,so you don’t have to scramble for one. The pool is a nice size and there’s a great poolside bar ,that has a good variety of snacks and drinks, all reasonably priced. On-site is a great supermarket,that has most things you will want,from milk and bread to beans and hotdogs. The girls that work there are excellent,really friendly and are happy to help you,if needed. The bar is a good place too spend a few hours on an evening ,great selection of drinks. Only went in once and the entertainment was karaoke but was an ok night. If your room is on the third floor,you might have a bit of trouble as there’s no lift,so you have to carry your cases up all the stairs,(so if you don’t want to carry your cases up the stairs,ask for a ground floor apartment) Ok the room. The room we had was room 312 (third floor) It had a huge balcony,it has to be the largest balcony we have had on any holiday we have been on. The living room It was a good size with plenty of windows for ventilation as there’s no air conditioning. (Taking a portable fan is a godsend on a night) there is also plenty of plug sockets. In the room is a table and chairs, a sofa, a sideboard which has drawers a lamp and a tv. There’s two windows and the door out to the balcony. The kitchen has everything you could want,kettle,microwave,toaster,two ring hob. The bathroom is an ok size Nice large mirror,hairdryer plenty of space around the sink for your toiletries, the shower is quite big for the room, it has two attachments,a normal shower head and a rainfall one. It can loose a bit of power at popular times. The bedroom is an adequate size. If you open the door fully it hits the bed behind the door. The beds are a bit hard but you get used to them, there’s a spare pillow in the wardrobe if needed (but only one ,I used the arm pillow from the sofa) There’s two wardrobes (one with shelves and the safe and the other is a large one to hang your clothes in). There’s a long mirror,a bedside table and a couple of windows If you turn left out of the hotel and go round the corner there’s a couple of little bars about 800m which is about 5/10 minutes away but if you want to go to the Main Street and music square turn right and it’s about a 25 /30 minute walk . It’s worth the walk. Plenty of bars and places to eat.

This was the most recent of our many visits to the Hesperia Bristol Playa and once again the management and staff have made our stay a great experience. We requested our favourite room once again which was supplied with no problems. We always are made to feel welcome and appreciated as regular guests by the staff and management, especially Emanuela who personally wished us a safe flight home and made sure that whatever we require for our next visit in February 2025 is catered for. The rooms are clean and well equipped with complimentary toiletries and dish washing detergent/cloths. The maid service is weekly which is frequent enough as you can request fresh towels from reception if required. The pool bar is the best we have ever enjoyed anywhere, hosted by the wonderful Danny and Lydia and their excellent staff. The food at the pool bar is also excellent as is the on site supermarket. There’s also a small bar in the evening which is very well organised and welcoming. We have enjoyed the Bristol so much over the last seven years, visiting at least three times per year on average, that we would not consider staying anywhere else in Corralejo. These apartments could be so much better. The staff are helpful, the pools and pool areas are nice. The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was good. However, the apartments desperately need an upgrade. The paintwork is tired and our apartment wasn’t clean enough. The hotel has karaoke most nights. It’s a shame because you can’t have a nice quiet drink on the patio. The hotel is in a good location within easy walk of restaurants, shops and beaches.

Another lovely stay at Hesperia Bristol playa. I stay here frequently and its always nice. Pool was lovely and quite warm. Pool bar as good as always and we enjoyed some cocktails on our sun loungers. We love the walk down the promenade into town.I will be back again soon.

First trip abroad for many years , bristol playa did not disappoint, great room and hotel facilities at affordable prices ,swimming pool was great and kept very clean ,the pool bar staff kept the guests entertained ,a great location for local bars and restaurants, loved the music square close by. cant wait to come back next year booking again as soon as we get home.

I had a very bad experience with this hotel in first instance they have assigned a room which was unsellable just opposite the back kitchen of the pool bar with all the dirty and waste around. To change the room they have charged me 90€ which I felt robbed. The receptionist Gloria and her manager were very rude and also they haven’t even let me talked with the property manager! The experience was so frustrating and disappointed which I made the decision to not come back anymore in this hotel! They haven’t even apologised were so rude the girls at the reception! Disgusting!

This was our 1st visit to the island, family of 4, 3 adults, 1 child. August summer holidays 2024, Pleasantly surprised with our hotel, our apartment was spacious, there was 4 of us and enough room for 6, so plenty of room, upon arrival our room was lovely and clean, lovely bathroom and the rainfall shower was lush! Our bedding and towels were changed half way through our 1 week stay. No sunbeds wars at all, lovely pools, plenty of sunbeds, Danny behind the bar is a lovely bloke, onsite shop sells yummy fresh croissants, perfect for breakfast, all the staff were friendly, polite and helpful, we had a lovely stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Lovely place, Clean, nice apartments, Pool bar lovely with great food. Supermarket is good, Pools are warm once your in. No fighting for sunbeds, we are here in the middle of August. Short walk to the harbour with restaurants entertainment. Went to the sand dune beaches by the Riu hotels 12 euros each way in a taxi. Bring all paracetomol ect as the pharnaacy is miles away. The long boat wok restaurant is lovely . Appartment is spacious we had room 356. Safe place, kids went to the pool on there own for half hour in the morning. They are 9 10 11. Drawbacks- The wind Hard beds and who you go with!

We booked this hotel as it was cheap. I wasn't expecting anything fancy if I was I most certainly wouldn't have booked this. I was concerned by some of the reviews before going because we had booked the basic room. I had asked for an upstairs apartment and when we arrived I was pleasantly surprised as it was better than I was expecting. We were out all day and only used the apartment to sleep and shower. Ok the apartment is a bit dated but it was a good size. It only had 2 single beds but we pushed them together. We didn't need any air conditioning so don't worry about not having any. The room was only cleaned once during our stay ( 1 week) but because we were out all the time once was fine. Because we didn't spend much time in the hotel we didn't have much interaction with the staff apart from check in and out, but they were friendly. The location of the hotel was good and it had free parking so we never had to worry about getting a parking space when we came back. If you are looking for a cheap holiday then this hotel is good. If you want a fancy hotel you need to pay more. The photos I have put up were taken on our last day that's why it's not clean.
