It is a newer hotel, everything looked nice and clean. They made a very odd choice of putting one of those sliding doors for the bathroom with no lock. So if you have any mischievous children/siblings, be ready for some embarrassing pictures. The door also doesn't help to cover up any sounds or smells that might be coming from there. The hotel is located right next to a very busy and loud highway, so if you do choose to stay there, make sure to get a room on the east side of the building. The breakfast is lacking. We stayed 2 nights and didn't bother going down the 2nd day. The pool is also small and there is no hot tub. Overall the experience wasn't terrible, but I will not stay again.

We overnighted here in December 2021 and selected this hotel for a few reasons; it's location in respect to highways/shopping/eateries and that it was between a few medical facilities we had appts at. We have witnessed the growth of Eau Claire in the last 10 years and its expansion of medical facilities so it very much helps to have a larger selection of hotels in that area. This hotel is quite new, can be seen from the Hwy 53, is easy on/off. It actually is located between Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls proper. Room was quite spacious, as was the bathroom. Walk-in shower, with several built in shelves for toiletries. Large vanity with single sink. Coffee make provided, microwave, and refrigerator. Narrow closet for hanging items with ironing board/iron. Extensive TV selection. The rooms on back of hotel face a small parking area and hill - so there is no noise from the back side. Hotel self-serve breakfast was quite sufficient, especially considering COVID restrictions; including hot/fresh waffles/pancakes, sausage patties, oatmeal with fixings, cereals, yogurts, coffees, tea selection and juice selections. We experienced NO highway noise and in fact our overnight was very peaceful. On an additional note re breakfast: anyone with dietary restrictions should be pleased with what is offered. Small ”store” in lobby next to reception desk to purchase snack items/beverages.

Ryan who was the employee checked me in was amazing! Boy this employee does it all for his job! He is a keeper! He is friendly, works hard! Went into the bar/restaurant to pick up a menu to get some dinner. She was way to busy telling a couple of people a story of getting a speeding ticket rather than excusing herself to help a customer. Glad Grub hub was happy to get my business both nights for dinner. Room was clean, carpet is dated and stained, so kept my shoes on until bed. no coffee cups in the room to take coffee. No big deal just pain having to walk back and ask. Lighting is a little dark in the room, as in the bathroom. Ladies who wear make up Next morning go down for breakfast 7:30 AM. NO coffee was made, no preparation for breakfast at all. Same thing this morning except coffee that was made at some point the day before were in carafes sitting on the table. Employee just came turned on the lights and walked away. Again McDonald’s we’re happy to sell me fresh hot coffee. To bad I spent 108 plus change for this room that was to include breakfasts. Grounds were clean. Plenty of areas to walk a dog. They need a couple of garbage cans around, but again not a big deal to walk down to the garbage dumpsters. Over all not a bad place at all to stay. Will stay again, but will make sure my bring my kurig, coffee, and creamer for fresh coffee.
