Die Hotelanlage wurde wunderschön in die Landschaft eingefügt ist allerdings etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wir hatten ein Apartment für zwei Personen mit Meeresblick genommen. Die Apartmentanlage liegt auf einem Hügel mit – je nach Apartment - einem atemberaubenden Blick über die Landschaft und das Meer. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und professionell. Auch wenn das Check In - mir unverständlicherweise - erst ab 17 Uhr gestattet ist, haben wir problemlos um 14 Uhr eingecheckt, was aber wohl in der Saison nicht möglich ist. Es ist nicht einzusehen, dass man für einen ganzen Tag bezahlt und nur 17 Stunden bekommt. Welches andere Hotel benötigt 7 Stunden für eine Reinigung, denn Check Out ist um 10 Uhr? Das Apartment ist jedoch nicht wirklich ein Apartment, es ist gerade mal ein kleines Zimmer mit winzigem Bad und einer Mini-Küchenzeile. Unter einem Apartment verstehe ich mindestens zwei Räume. Hier war alles minimalisiert. Es war für meine Ansprüche nicht mal genug Platz für zwei Personen vorhanden. Es gab zwar einen Esstisch mit 2 Stühlen jedoch war kein Laptoparbeitsplatz vorhanden. Die zwei Lampen waren über dem Bett an der Wand befestigt, jedoch war Lesen im Bett bei diesem Licht nicht möglich. Das Badezimmer war sehr beengt. Die Dusche und das Waschbecken waren zu klein. Die Mini-Küchenzeile hatte keine Dunstabzugshaube. Auch wenn man beim Kochen die Terassentür weit geöffnet hatte, musste man die ganze Nacht mit Küchengerüchen schlafen. Die Terrasse war jedoch riesig groß, man hätte eine Party mit 10 Leuten feiern können. Es wäre besser gewesen einen Teil der Terrasse für das Zimmer zu nutzen. Eine Privatsphäre gab es auf der Terrasse nicht wirklich, da das Nachbar-Apartment höher gelegen war und man von dort auf unsere Terrasse hinunterblicken konnte. Es wäre an der Zeit die traumhaft gelegene Anlage von Grund auf zu renovieren und dabei eventuell aus 3 Apartments 2 zu machen. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und lädt zu Tagesausflügen ein. Restaurants und Bars sind reichlich vorhanden, wobei ab Oktober viele geschlossen haben. Da die Gegend eine reine Touristengegend ist, ist dort alles sehr teuer. Es gibt in der Umgebung aber mehrere, auch sehr große und preiswerte Supermärkte, zum Beispiel Euro Spin. Mein Fazit: Die Hotelanlage ist zu empfehlen aufgrund der traumhaften Lage. 2 Personen sollten jedoch ein Apartment nehmen, was für 4 Personen bestimmt ist.

This was our first stay in Sardinia and after reading the reviews we were apprehensive about what to expect on arrival but we were pleasantly surprised. For ease I have broken into pros and cons Pros - we booked a comfort room and this was all good plenty of space and had house keeping daily. Staff were all pleasant and greeted us always. Hotel beach was a 5/10 minute walk (wouldn't recommend for those with mobility issues, but there is a free shuttle to this beach from the hotel and back) Info desk very helpful and we booked a shuttle for 5 euros per person each way to Lu Impostu and La cinta beach (40 euros total) which ran very smoothly. We also booked q boat trip through the info desk which picked up from the hotel beach and was 75 euros each. Pool area was always clean and always managed to get beds in the morning but these do fill up and the afternoons seem to be harder to get a bed but we managed most days. We were half board so breakfast and dinner included always found something to eat the crab sticks and lamb were beautiful, water was available for free if you wanted alcohol or soft drinks as per most half board rules you have to pay so not a problem. Cons Although the food was ok on par with most buffets it wasn't always the warmest. Towels on sunbeds around the pool sometimes annoyingly people would put towels on beds and dissappear for 5 hours then come back. Hotel is secluded which we knew and we took advantage of the shuttles etc in the day but we struggled more with adult evening entertainment and would have liked the option to go into town but the last return shuttle was at 6:15pm. We sat in the lounge bar most nights which was pleasant enough but would of liked to have an option to try other bars and restaurants. Overall had a really lovely stay, found the hotel to be clean, staff courteous and helpful. The entertainment team would always too for a chat. Even though secluded we still managed to get out and see some other beaches. I didn't find it to be overly expensive for 2 of us our final bill was 640 euros which was mainly drinks, including alcohol multiple beers (44 to be exact) wines and cocktails and a few snacks, I do think having the room billed is both good and bad - easier for them to just tap the room card and you don't need to carry cash or other cards but a bit worrying because you lose track of what you have spent which for some people may be a big blow at final bill. Lucky for us ours came out cheaper then expected as no extra tax that someone else had mentioned in a previous review, well not from what I can see. I would say this is not the place for you if you are expecting a place that is commercialised and revolving around English tourists it is more authentic and I feel stays close to its italian roots which we loved. A lovely relaxing holiday for us and would absolutely come back the only reason we wouldn't stay here would be for the above mentioned reasons with seclusion.

Incompetence and lack of professionalism are the basis of this resort branded Baglioni but there is little of Baglioni except the logo... It is an old resort called Paradaise, renovated as best as possible and used as a trap for foreign tourists who have few demands . Staff not adequately trained and in some cases too pedantic. Room cleaning not done or done hastily, at absurd times like 5.30pm. Leaving a greasy, wet cleaning cloth and a lot of hair in the suitcase… That the guest service provided the laundry for free... I would say the minimum in cases like these. For a 5 star hotel and even more so for a Baglioni there is a lot of work to be done to improve the services. Deserving a special mention are Paolo and Antonello from the beach service who do everything to make up for the shortcomings of the structure, Francesco from the always professional restaurant and the director Victoriano for the upgrade.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful 12 nights at this hotel (though only 10 were originally planned). The location is very easy to access by public transport from Olbia airport, though we did use a taxi when we arrived (taxis are not cheap on Sardinia). Our room was exactly what we needed to give us a relaxed time, and with a great view over to Tavalora. And a good sized pool was just along the corridor too. We like the option of a small kitchenette in our room, which means we didn’t need to worry about breakfast times or snacks during the day. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance (although some had closed for end of their high season) and the hotel also serves good quality evening meals which proved very useful the evening the heavens opened and we were saved a wet trek for food. Our special appreciation for the hotel’s reception staff who were a great help to us throughout our stay, particularly with guidance on a medical need at the start of our hols (we’d not heard of Guardia Medica Turistica before) and also extending our stay by 2 days when EasyJet cancelled our flight home (we certainly didn’t mind staying an extra two nights!) We’d love to return to this area to experience it in a different season, in which case we’d certainly come back to this hotel.

Rooms are clean & comfortable, the showers were disappointing as it is a narrow plastic cabin. Shower gel & shampoo were only provided the first day & in a very tiny quantity. Rooms don’t have an iron nor has the reception which is a tad surprising & disappointing. The staff are very friendly & helpful despite the communication issues as we speak very little Italian & most of the staff don't speak any English. The pool: the hotel page says it has a seasonal swimming pool & 2 beach bars which is not the case. When we asked we were told “They are in other locations”. The hotel’s page & our booking both say ”cooked-to-order breakfast” included which turns out to not be the case. At the checkout, a receptionist asked us to pay for all the breakfasts except 1 coffee & 1 croissant each. Obviously, we disagreed as this was included & paid for. They then changed their version & said we only need to pay for orders after 10h30 without any signed or timestamped receipt as one would expect from a decent hotel. We had a few dinners & drinks at the restaurant & we were given a bill every time & the payment was made straight after like everywhere. The breakfast misadventure was an exception, why do they hold this until checkout & without any signed receipt? Is this intentional or just amateurism? I can’t tell. Also, the hotel was not able to provide us a checkout bill like other hotels. They said ”they don't do this” The receptionist also declined to give us a passport until they check that ”nothing is stolen” as she said!
