I played in Oxford for two days, because it was three people, so the choice was not so much, so I decided to make it. The room was clean and tidy, but the faucet was leaking, and the chandelier inside was also bad. There was a door in the room that could not be closed. But in general, the price is reasonable, the location is convenient, two minutes walk to the city center, the train station is less than ten minutes, but the hotel entrance is very small, on the street, you must carefully look at the signs posted at the door to find, service staff Is a little brother, very good attitude, but also help with luggage. If you are pursuing a good environment, it is not recommended, but if you travel short distances and many people, it is okay.

From London Airport, drive directly to the hotel. The hotel is in a residential area. The appearance is a house in submit-detach . When you arrive, there is a large car decoration garbage in the yard doorway, which looks a bit messy. The room is still very tidy and should have just been renovated, which looks relatively new and clean. The house is of course an old house with a certain history. The heating and sockets are a bit historical. The sockets are arranged in the ground footing of the house. It is embarrassing to charge. Now everyone has so many electronic devices, it is recommended that the store do more charging sockets. We set a family room, the room is big enough, on the ground floor, there is a floor-to-ceiling window to lead to the back yard, there should be a small inner yard in summer, there is a table to relax, but we arrived in winter, the yard is not arranged. Breakfast is arranged in the small restaurant in the sun room. The food is rich and the environment is warm. You can communicate with other passengers. The manager and waiter are also very enthusiastic and can try their best to help the guests. The traffic is not bad, we basically walk to the central area, about 20 to 25 minutes, the advantage is that you don't have to find a place to park, you can also see the small colleges on both sides along the way. There is not much to eat around, but there is a small bar about 15 minutes walk. It is actually Michelin 1 star. It is a bit expensive, but the taste is very good. The restaurant atmosphere is also very good. The students in the school are discussing entrepreneurial plans. It is very university atmosphere. You can park on the roadside in front of the hotel. Parking is convenient. The manager asked us to park in the small parking lot of the hotel, which feels like home. The small hotel is more free and warm, and enters and exits with a password at night. Overall, it is quite satisfactory. The last two are small bars, and the last one is Zixia on the dusk road.

The facilities are old, but fortunately the room is big enough. The breakfast is not very rich, but it is made now, which is very good. The location is also close to Oxford, come out and take the bus directly on the main road.

My partner and I stayed here for the rich history of the building - the room came with information about the building and parts to look out for which was very interesting. The room had a non-contact check in and felt so private, we didn’t hear anyone else the whole time we were here including road noises. The bed was clean and comfy and had skylights and a tv. We were even given biscuits and breakfast bars with our room, couldn’t fault the hotel and I loved seeing the old spiral staircase and original fireplaces.

If I could give it 6X I would. Anne-Marie, on reception, could not have been more helpful in planning our visit and making the overall experience a real pleasure. On the two breakfast mornings, we invited an additional two cousins who live locally. We really enjoyed everything about our stay and the courtesy extended by all the team. Well done. Thank you Anne-Marie From David, Miranda, Jan and David, not forgetting Mike and Angela who joined us for breakfast each day.

I love this little boutique hotel. The staff are truly the best - friendly and accommodating. The premises are showing some signs of age but very clean and comfortable. I love the cafe as well - I wish there were some more menu options but what they have is very good. I didn't have a car so parking was not an issue but I do hear that it's limited around the hotel, which sits on a quiet street near the river, about a 15-20 minute walk from Oxford city centre. I've stayed here before and happily will again. (Note that this property is one of many businesses that has gone completely cashless - I don't like not having a cash option but the UK seems to be adopting it at a fast pace)

I was a bit dubious about staying in a room above a pub/ restaurant, but was very pleasantly surprised ! The room was really nice, as well as the bathroom.( A light above the bathroom mirror, might be a good idea ? ) The bed was excellent & although the main road was nearby, I slept like a log. The English breakfast & the buffet was really good value for money.The staff were really friendly & very helpful.......We will be back !

We received a very warm welcome, and were allowed to check in several hours early. Room was big, well furnished, and comfortable. We particularly liked having a small table and kitchenette for our breakfast! Lovely toiletries provided in the bathroom. There is a small car park, and also on road parking. Couldn't have asked for friendlier, more welcoming hosts. Would definitely stay again.
