Good morning, We arrived yesterday in our rental at the residence the dune at Serignan. Whilst the initial impression of the hotel and our room was that the decor was tired, I must say it was spotlessly clean. The bed was a small double accessible only from one side which made a night time visit to the toilet difficult for my husband. The bathroom was tiny but again, clean and perfectly functional. The toilet was in a separate cupboard. There was no furniture in the room (due to its very compact size) and a small fold up table would have helped greatly. There was a inbuilt wardrobe with sufficient space for clothes etc. However the real highlight is the hotel’s location opposite a pristine & clean beach, and just a few minutes walk away from the main town, which meant it was quieter at night. And also another plus was the room’s balcony with table, two chairs and a reclining deck chair. Perfect for a spot of sunbathing (or for either myself or my husband to get out of my way whilst we took it in turns to get ready in our small room!) The staff were friendly but no one spoke to us in English which is fine as I can manage with my basic French but some may struggle. We didn’t take breakfast as there was no outside seating option and we preferred to sit out and make the most of the weather. Overall, a lovely little hotel in a superb French beach resort.

The Mecure brand has always been one which we relate to. This hotel is linked with Ibis and the car park has an entrance to both hotels. The hotel was in the main clean and tidy however the rooms were a tad on the small side, but with only a one night stop it was not a concern. A sort walk (uphill) to a convenient area to eat or drink was a bonus.

Very basic hotel in good location with all nessasery thinks. But if you want to feel like being in France go to different cities.When I stayed in Beziers felt more like in Tunisia or Morocco with all those kebabs , tea restaurant and shops with food on the floor.Plus those old dumped mattresses on the streets are not welcoming you .Also not recommend for single women to walk after sunset alone.
