GGuest UserWe stayed here on a whim after rerouting our trip. We did not know much about the area, but wanted to be near the city center. Montpellier is a university town with a very vibrant college crowd. This hotel is an easy walk to the main sights in Montpellier and to some great restaurants. The room had a great layout, was very comfortable, and with the option of a decent breakfast offering. We had a car and parking was available on site, which was wonderful after some of the parking issues we had elsewhere. Would not hesitate to recommend.

I really liked my experience at the Royal Hotel. The room was very beautiful, spacious and finely furnished. I found a bit difficult that there was no WiFi and the signal on my phone was so low that was impossible to load even social networks. For this reason, I worked from the lobby with my computer. It’s a nice and quiet space. I appreciated also the tea and cookies that were offered in the afternoon in the lobby. The hotel is conveniently located next to the train station, restaurants and a supermarket.

It’s just 10 min walk from the airport. We had a big room at the ibis style. Every thing was spotless, nice comfy beds ( I would suggest to add an extra pillow but I’m sure I would get it if I asked 😅). The room was very quiet even if it is in a industrial area ( we would prefer a little warmer room, we tried to bring it up a little bit but unsuccessfully, we gave up cause we had 2 nights only). The breakfast was too good, not busy at all, even at the last moment, the food was enough. Everything is high quality, artisan bread, bio butter and cheese, fresh croissants and pain au chocolates, fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh boiled eggs, etc. Its just 20 min walk to the tram station, 15 min journey to the rail station. SSimonaGeoBeware! Worst hotel experience ever! We booked to stay overnight and had to checkin late because we had a road accident. Although we informed them in advance and they said we will be able to checkin, we just need to show ID card to the security, that guy actually wanted to make a photo copy of my credit card somewhere else, away from me. When I refused (I asked to at least be able to see what he copies) he just locked the door and we stayed 2hours in front of the hotel in the middle of the night with a baby and a 4yrs old... Later I agreed with the photocopy just because I wanted to have some sleep for the kids, entered the apartment where was just one double bed and a sofa, which was not prepared for sleep and there weren't any sheets or duvet cover. We of course paid for 4 people, not for 2! Everything was quite dirty and poor, absolutely not worth the 150€ price we paid. Also, we booked it because it was stated to have a secure parking, but they said parking is full, so we had to park in the middle of nowhere and we were worried for our car as well, as it was a latest mercedes model and the region of the hotel doesn't really feel like a safe one.

PPh.D MHidalgoOur room was normal. The window looks like never clean outside so if you open it to breathe the pure air you can see it. I suggest, Manager hotel 's would must pay attention to it. The bathroom was poor in services to be a three star hotel. A tower per client, a small savon for hand and dispenser savon inside the shower. Most unconventional was doesn't find a telephone to contact with reception if you need it.
Bed was so soft and comfortable to sleep and breakfast was completed and varied with good products.
Really, I felt a beat deception with room cause in my selection before booking it I took care of the details I like it

It is very close to the Sant Roque station, which is the central station of the city. It is located in the old area very close to the tourist attractions. Good service. It is a hostel opened a month ago. How to improve I would suggest that there be more showers outside the rooms, it can be annoying for the other guests if they use it if they are resting. The tram also passes nearby so bring earplugs.

The Ibis Budget is well signposted on the main street (San Saens) with access via the entrance on a side street (Rue Racine) to the rear of the Mercure Hotel with whom it shares a bar/reception. We arrived by train and took the very pleasant (but reasonably steep) walk through the park area to the town. On arrival at the hotel it was midday but we were immediately allocated a room. The room was accessed via the elevator. At the time of our visit there were renovations taking place to the carpet and decor in the hallway but this did not cause any problems. The room was as expected for a budget hotel, compact but with all necessary facilities, toilet, shower and hand basin. Clothes storage was available and a desk area with small tv above. There was one English speaking channel (CNBC). Sadly the cooling system did not work at the time of our stay which for ”Brits” meant an uncomfortably warm room to try and get to sleep. At least the windows opened and the location was quite quiet. Whilst I personally wouldnt ”rush back” to the hotel, it was perfectly clean and safe and was a very reasonable price, so overall I would say that we ”got what we paid for”.

GGuest UserWe had ”slept” 3 nights in this hotel. The rooms really need to be refurbished. The bed was really not top, the bed was sounding as soon as we turned back, not very comfortable, The entrance door was grinding at every opening or closet, the BOF BOF bathroom, scalled shower etc ... the sliced soils, but the cleanness is present, you can see the work of the room women, which are very smile and nice. It's just that the equipment and furniture are old. The staff of the reception and breakfast are very sympathetic and smile too. We were welcomed well, really. And we thank them. Breakfast is very copyy, with a wide Choice. Thanks for this. For the staff, we will come back, for the rooms and bed, a little less.

A small bemol the wifi was not working during our stay.
