The ferry operates to the opposite shore (island). However, traffic is not busy. Grocery shop 4,1 km, restaurant and other services of Jämi area 3,8 km. There are many kinds of services in Jämi area including skiing tunnel (already opened for this autumn), airfield for small scale airplanes, restaurant, disc golf course and climbing park. Hämeenkangas ridge area is offering excellent terrains for jogging and cross-country skiing (in normal winters). The Hämeenkangas area has been approved as part of UNESCO Global Geopark network.
