Good location, very close to the center. The balcony can see the sea, and the guest bedroom is a little bit cooler at night. Others are very good, recommend staying.
Stayed one night here during out roadtrip to 12 apostles.
Arrived late but managed to self checked in. Easy and convenient. Room was super impressive for the price that we paid.
There are several eateries just minutes away from our motel, and about 3 ‘mins walk to the beach front.
Would definitely recommend!
As a motel, here is typical and standard. The store is very professional and answers questions quickly. The downside of the hotel is the price, as a motel, more than RMB 1,000, it is really worth it. So the disadvantage is that the price is not high.

The owner's family is very kind, the room is beautifully decorated, the items are clean and complete, the breakfast is rich, there are many options for dining out, it is close to the sea, but very quiet at night. I injured my knee while traveling, and the local pharmacy was closed. The owner's family helped me apply ointment and take painkillers, and patiently guided me on the use of medication. Thank you very much. I highly recommend it and will choose this hotel next time I go to Apollo Bay.
The hotel is not far from the center of Apollo town, just a few minutes drive away. Because it was Christmas Eve, many restaurants and shops in the town were closed, and the supermarkets were not closed. Free parking
The front desk of the hotel is on the first floor. It is a Chinese boy with a very good attitude. He gave us a map and showed us where to see the scenic spots. After checking the name, he gave the key to check in without deposit.
The balcony and bathroom are not small, and the bedroom is a bit small, with only one large bed, and can only accommodate 2 people. The room looks out to the sea, there are refrigerators, microwaves, hot water kettles, towels, bathing supplies, no kitchen can not cook, this is a bit inconvenient
Check out at 10 in the morning, put the key on the coffee table, and have free wifi
The facilities are complete and the environment is hygienic. When I arrived, the temperature dropped suddenly and I was worried that it would be cold at night. However, I found that after the heating in the room was turned on, it was very comfortable to wear short sleeves to sleep. The service attitude was very good.
The disadvantage is that the door is unlocked with a key, which makes it feel safer without an electronic room card.
The location Is awesome, just right on the end of the row of shops in Appollo Bay. The room is not noisy even it is just on top of the bar. You no need to worry about the parking too, plenty parking lots over there. But if you expect any hotel service or good facilities, this is not a good choice as it is just a guest house. Overall the room is not so bad, you have what you pay for it, and you can get good food there.
The hotel is on the edge of the Great Ocean Road. It used to be convenient. Next to it is a small town that can be supplemented with some daily necessities. The service attitude of the hotel was relatively poor. We booked the room. When we arrived at the hotel, it was more than 9:00 in the evening. The front desk of the hotel was closed. We called and asked for the procedure. The receptionist made a half-day complaint and said that we disturbed him to sleep. There was no quilt in the room, the weather was a little cold, and the air conditioning in the room was not strong. There was no way to be familiar with the surroundings. At this time, there was no way to change places and make a mess.
This was one of the best yha we have stayed at. The room was bare but that is to be expected. The amenities, by contrast, were excellent: Two well appointed kichens with nice pans and plenty of space; A roof area and multiple living room areas; an herb garden and plenty of recycling areas; and the games and TV area looked brand new and not old and worn out . The kids enjoyed it and so did we. Highly recommended.

AAnonymous UserThis is a very clean and accessible motel. Centrally located with good eateries and supermarkets nearby. Has free parking too, which is very useful for us. Very friendly staff and they have a cute dog. Would highly recommend one to stay here!
EEW.The exterior photos online don't do it justice. I didn't expect it to be a new or recently renovated (?) property. It is fully equipped with the necessities like plates, cutlery, fridge, hairdryer, kettle, microwave etc. The location is superb very close by to the main town center. You can park your car right outside your unit. Strong shower in the bathroom. However, the hanging shelf at the shower area is placed kind of high and it's too small to place our items. Nonetheless, we truly enjoyed our stay here.
GGuest UserAppollo Apartment is an excellent choice when staying in Appollo Bay. Located very close to the V/Line bus station, the apartment is incredibly convenient for traveling back to Geelong or continuing your journey to Warrnambool. I stayed in a spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms and a comfortable living room. The washer and dryer were readily available, which was very convenient. The bathroom even had a bathtub, perfect for relaxing after a long trip. Just a short walk away, there are plenty of restaurants, and behind the apartment is a Foodworks store with reasonable prices, open from 8 AM to 10 PM. This is definitely a great place to book for your vacation!
IitravelrussiaNice cozy motel, you park by the entrance door. Self service check-in, check-out, but it is important to call for after hours check-out. Nice cafe for dinner on the next side of the road. Very close to the beach. Overall very good impression, though a bit outdated furniture
RreineiThe hotel has a yellow exterior wall and is opposite the gas station, so it is easy to find.
The twin room is on the second floor, with a balcony to see the sea, a kettle, a bread machine, knives and forks, and a face towel, which is more in line with the needs of Chinese people.
It is very convenient to walk to the restaurant, there are Chinese restaurants, Asian restaurants, Thai food, and supermarkets. The town is more expensive. It's a pity that I arrived late and didn't have ice cream! Some restaurants in the town close early, and dinner options are limited.
Get up early to watch the sunrise at the beach, beautiful scenery!
It's worth staying here for two days and enjoy it slowly!
GGuest UserThe facilities are not very new, the decoration style of the room is relatively ordinary, and the flush toilet sometimes does not work well. However, there are a lot of rooms, making it suitable for a group of people.
GGuest UserSimple motel with basic facilities. The main street is a 3-minute walk from the beach. There are many restaurants and supermarkets in the town. Remember to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste.
GGuest UserVery nice sea view along great ocean road. Theres Alpaca's and sheep along the road leading upwards. Property will send an email regarding check in but it was sent to trip.com email and we didnt receive it. Remember to check with trip.com for these check in emails.
MMinah Goes AroundHad a pleasure stay with sandpiper. Was surprised to see the reception office was closed but all the instructions were there. The team wrote names on an envelope and further instructions inside the envelope.
We went during the start of winter of our Great Ocean Road trip and homggggggg the wind!!!!! I kid you not - I joked to my husband for bringing winter jacket. There is no mercy! Haha. So I had to get a down jacket from the mall before the start of my journey.
Our room was closest to the reception but the carpark area was the other end of the venue (not that far lah) but with 2 huge luggages and 2 carry ons, it was a tad hassle ah.
Heating was slow and soft - bo pian ah. Rather have it then none at all cos at night, its really cold sia. No joke. The cold air from outside like hang out outside our room. The nozzle from the hair dryer broke. It wasn’t me ok. Luckily I wear hijab so just make it dry can liao.
Got bowl, plates, cups, kettle, fridge, tv (not smart). Basic for your short stay.
That’s all! Will come back to stay here if I come here again (:
Oh! They do have diy laundry from 0800-2000. Never try cos no time.
AAnonymous UserExcellent location for a stop by along the ocean road, 15 minutes drive to Apollo bay, quiet little property located at the foot of mountain and facing the sea, with fantastic ocean view and interesting rock and sand beach
The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room of bay view is spacious with a small sitting room and all necessary utensils
People just need to bring necessary food and drink to cook for themselves as there is a bit distance from the town center
A little advice though: please provide air-conditioner for the accommodations as it’s pretty hot in summer in the room. It’s not comfortable and the guest cannot sleep well in the summer heat
The average price for hotels in Apollo Bay is US$311 on weekdays, and US$390 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
